Oh, wow, what are the chances—especially on a site as big as Gaia! I'm not from Kingston, but I live a few minutes' drive away from it. Ever hear of Belleville? XD To my understanding we live in fairly small places, so I find it amazing to see someone from the same general area as me here, and a Nightrunner fan no less! Well, to my introduction...

I have many nicknames, and it really doesn't matter to me what people refer to me by, but my name is Megan and that's usually broken down to Meg, but for the most part online people refer to me as "Toady." Take your pick. ^^

Ah, that's such a hard one... Though I will have to say Seregil and Alec make the top of the list. If I were to choose I'd pick Seregil, but Alec is just so adorable and I love him too. XD
Other:
I can't even begin to describe how much I love books. XD I have ever since I was little, but it was when I turned 11 and started into Harry Potter that I made the transition from picture books like Dr. Seuss and light novels like Goosebumps into the thicker, more grown up novels like Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. While searching for new fantasy titles to read I happened across a recommendation for Lynn Flewelling's Luck in the Shadows, and I got it along with a few others with Christmas money I got in 2006. To my shame I never actually got around to Luck in the Shadows until just a few months ago... and wow, was I surprised. It was by far the best book out of the pile I bought with that money. I quickly got the second one, but alas I haven't gotten Traitor's Moon yet. But I haven't gotten my Christmas presents yet, and it was on my wish list, so I can only hope... ^^ I look forward to participating in this guild, because anything to do with Nightrunner is a good thing, and nobody else I know likes to read (such a shame) so I have no one to talk to about it! XD And, uh, I should warn everyone now: I tend to get... very wordy. >_>

I'm just totally baffled by that. I've been on all kinds of other sites and talked to a lot of people and none of them even know where Belleville is, and on Gaia, which is huge, I find someone who lives so close. XD Well, it's very nice to meet you. ^_^

I've actually met some people I've been friends with online before. On of my LJ friends is also on here and deviantART, so we met in person a few summers ago when I still lived in Trenton. And another dA friend I met totally randomly at Sister's Costumes (before it closed) a few Halloween's back. I happened to mention dA to the cashier and this girl turns around and asked me what my screen name was... it was so weird, because we had always talked on dA ^^
Despite what most people say, meeting someone in person from online isn't always bad.... that's how my younger sister met her husband!
