Does anyone know of any other German bands? They don't have to be the same genre as Rammstein, just throw out any names you know. I've already determined I don't like Oomph! or Eisbrecher or KMNFD (or whatever they're called). sweatdrop Yeah, I'm extremely picky when it comes to music. Rammstein was the first metal band I ever liked. And then I only like their later stuff, nothing on Sehnsucht or Herzeleid, so...yeah.

I think Die Arzte are goooood, kinda punkish sort of music, very different to Rammstein.

Yeah, Rammstein are a permanent fixture in mein herz from now on.
They look after me with thier sound when no-one else is there.

Oooh, oooh, let us not forget......well, not all of these bands are of the rock/NDH genre. XD I just thought I'd share them. *is obviously a lover of German music in general, besides the omnipotent Rammstein* heart

A great German hip hop artist is Peter Fox.
I'm usually not into that genre, but his stuff is pretty tight.
And everyone pretty much named all the other
German bands I know.
But I'd recommend Richard's old band, Orgasm Death Gimmick.
They have a couple of catchy songs.

All the bands that are being mentioned sounds awesome! i like Oomph! a lot, Eisbrecher are pretty cool, i know a song or two by Die Toten Hosen...
but i have to confess...
my guilty, stereotypical pleasures consist of
Tokio Hotel
and
99 Luftballons.
rofl definitley NOT Rammstein, but what can i say? XD

Yes, Die Ärzte is a nice band; when i start listening to them i didnt like them, but with the Genius in iTunes, and all the mix it makes, i like it i like Urockbar, Deine Schuld and Schrei Nach Liebe and some others,
I like also Silbermond, the way the girl sings, i like it
and i've heard a bif of Söhne Mannheims also, but not so much as thes 2
for the moment are this ones and some of the ones that you said already

XD ...I COMPLETELY AGREE. <.<; Nena and Tokio Hotel are my other favorite bands. I actually like TH a liiiittle bit more than Rammstein...<.<; Nena's sort of on the same adoration level for me as Rammstein. Her new CD was amazing...<3 Wir sind wahr is gorgeous. xD I really don't bother with genres. I like what I like. Other German music that I enjoy include Lafee, Silbermond, and Eisblume. xD <3
