 Traverse Town Traverse Town is an original world that is featured in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. It acts as a hub of sorts for Sora during his journey. Its architecture is reminiscent of the High Victorian style popular in England during the 19th century. It serves as a home for people who manage to escape the destruction of their own worlds by unknowingly drifting through "corridors of darkness".
Traverse Town is separated into three major districts. The First District is generally devoid of Heartless and houses various shops. The Second District contains the bell tower, a gizmo shop, and a small hotel. The world's keyhole is located in the fountain in this district. It also has the entrance to the Dalmatians' house. The Third District is a plaza that has been overrun with Heartless. This district leads to a guarded alcove where Merlin lives. It also is where Leon and his allies have their secret hideout. Aside from these areas, Traverse Town also has a sewer system where Leon practices his swordplay and a back alley behind the hotel.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Ooooi! Good work today 'Red'," Cid called from the back of the shop as he moved the new crate of potions into the stock room. ", I'll cya tommorow! Get some sleep, I saw you nodding off a little.. take it easy." he chuckled waving good bye as a young woman with red hair pulled her hood over her head half way as she exited the shop. She turned around and smiled softly at the rough shop keeper. "Thankyou Cid, I'll do that. Take care." she called back witha back wave, and headed down the cobble street.
Pulling on the straps of her back pack, she shifted the semi-uncomfertable satchel a little as something moved inside it strainging for space. She looked up at the various people passing by, most were familair with her now and greeted witha smile as she passed by. "Good day Thrais, " "Nice evening Thrais," "Have a nice day" and so on. She'd built a nice reputation wiht the inhabitance here over the past 5 years. An older woman who was selling flower gave her a warm grin and passed her a white lily. " A flower for the blushing bride?" she giggled, making the weaver blush. "...Cids squeeled hm?" she muttered with a small smirk. " so it's true?" "... it's just a promise... for now, we're waiting." The lady nodded in understanding. "Well her'es the dried flowers you asked for, I hope they'll do." She said handing her the bundle tied with string. "Thankyou, this will be wonderful. Good evening."
Thrais wandered up to a small house crammed between many others, it was a two story one, cosy for a pair who were busy making a small life for themselves. She opened the door and came inside tkaing her bage of fresh vegitable and dried herbs and flowers.
Once upstairs in the safety of their walls..she pulled off her bag and stretched those aching wings that were begging to be let out into the fresh air. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Down in the hangar once again, the young man was found dozing off in a corner of the shop. His long hair was tied up in a tail, and he was fashioned in his usual work clothes- a grease stained white tee, and a pair of matching worn out jeans. The young man had been working in the garage all day, a routine he's been keeping up for the past 4 or 5 years. It was a peaceful life. And he enjoyed every moment of it, especially with his bride to be. A sudden pain emitted from the top of his head, and that was enough to get his eyes fluttered opened.
"Get outta here, kid! And here I thought you had decided to work overtime for a change!" Cid shouted at him, while dropping a wrench down in front of the mechanic.
"Oh come on, you know I wouldn't want to keep her waiting for me all night." he smiled back while rubbing his head from where the wrench hit him. "Is she still here?"
"Naw, she left awhile ago. I suggest you do the same. You two should really try to get some sleep done!"
"We try our best." he laughed, while packing up his things and sliding on his glasses. In truth, Thrais and himself had a sleepless night again...It was one of the few nights that she and him had to go into hiding for fear of the Wing. "I'll see you tomorrow morning, Cid." he waved good-bye to his old friend before practically skipping out of the shop to head back home. It was a nice night, as usual, not to mention all the friendly faces. He was known as just another traveler who had finally settled down, while few others knew him as the warrior, Prinzaku Sitruk.
It didn't take long for him to read home, since most Traverse Town homes were virtually close by anyway. "Hey, you." Prinz smiled warmly once he saw Thrais' outstretched wings.
The weaver was seated at the living table, a small one just big enough for two to use contently. She had changed out of her concealing clothes and settled into a simple lavender grey fleese tunic with the back cut open for her wings to exntend, and leggins. A fresh pot of her special tea freshly brew sat on the table top. It was always a little different each time, but the taste was always very spiced and relaxing as well. She claimed to use an old method she learned from back home. Her mother taught her.
She had set out a mug for himself, with fixens, and had half drained her first cup, while staring at the white lily in her hand. While waiting she rested her head on the table was dozed off till she heard him open the door down the hallway. "Welcome home." she said with that soft warm smile she gave only to him, it was one where her eyes seemed to glow just a little bit with that shifted vision she possessed. Thrais always wanted to look at Prinz completly when he came home... to see his bright handsom face as well as his bright strong spirit and heart within. It was a sign of affection in her culture. She sat back and giggled suddenly pointing at his nose... "hehehe....you have a little somthing right there. Been up to your elbows ins grease again neh?"
How lucky he felt everyday she looked at him like that. The way she cared for him, the way she relaxed him, the way she comforted him. He loved her so much. Prinz shifted closer to her and rubbed his nose against hers playfully- transferring some of the grease to her. "Only the usual work." Prinz grinned the way he usually did. That sly, yet cool grin of his. He slid his hand into his pocket and pulled out a white towel, in which he lightly pinched the weaver's nose, successfully rubbing the grease off at the same time. He did the same to himself. Prinz moved one step closer and neatly placed a kiss on her forehead. "So, what do we have here today?" he titled his head slightly at the hot tea before taking a seat.
Thats whats he loved most of about Prinz, his playful antics and sly smirking that always kept her guessing. He was a man of many mytserious things, and thoughts. Though she could read a good deal of them, he always surprized her again and left her laughing from the bottom of her heart. Stepping to one side she did a dramatic sweep fo her hand, like some grand salemen and announced with a pridefull tone-
"Some lavender, chamomile, and rose... oh- and a special added engrediant to really envigorate you, since you've been working so hard." Sure, their lives were quiet, but they were far from non-eventful... the occasional pass over of Wings, always kept this pair on thier toes. it was times like these they could forget those concerns and just be a normal betrothed couple enjoy eachothers company. At times like this... Thrais wasn't a wingweaver, she was just a woman spending one of many days she planned to share with the man she loved.
"I brought some vegitables from the market, and some complementry custard buns from the baker, he says it's thanks for fixing his machine last week." she said taking a seat.
She then looked out the window to their left , watching the moon as it's glow streamed into the room. It rose above the roof tops like a luminous light that gaurded the town. "...almost time..." she whispered with a knowing look in her face and a smile on her lips. She was up to something obviously, and after spending 5 years with Prinz, he'd seen this thing 4 times already. When the mooon was full, she'd watch it closely. It could only mean one thing. She was turning her next age. She was leaving her 21st year behind and entering her 22nd.
There wasn't a day the two didn't have chemistry together. They had shared so many moments together. They had experienced battle. Death. And then there was the 5 years of peace. "Oh, what a lovely selection, ma'am." he replied back to her as if he was the being sold a product. He laughed. The two of them would often share a moment to show off their youthfulness. Prinz took a cup of tea with his right hand, and a custard bun with his left hand. He remembered he had managed to fix the baker's oven, and he chuckled, Prinz loved the small gifts they would get some the citizens. The young man took a bite from his baked goods, and a sip of tea before looking out the window.
"Oh, really?" he answered back sarcastically, and his eyes wandered to his left pocket- which held the gift he had gotten his lover. He himself had just experienced another birthday about 4 months ago, but celebrating Thrais' always seem to be so much more...Exciting. The way she would stare out the window, watching the moon. He lowered his food, and wrapped his hands around her small frame to watch the moon with her.
((I have to go now, sorry~! We'll continue this tomorrow. It feels great to rp again, haha! Good night!))
The darkness had settled on the quiet town, warm lights lined the streets people getting home from work and settling in for a good night. On top of one of the many hushed houses stood a man fashioned in sliver armour, the wind blew his small cape to one side. He jumped from one house to another not making sound, his armour was perfectly fit to his body and the seams where well worn. He stopped and bent low peeking through an opened window; he saw two figures a man and women enjoying a warm cup of tea. “Prinzaku Sitruk and Thrais Avelion finally I have found you.”
Traverse Town, a world beautiful even in the night, seemed peaceful through the eyes of this small,but strong bird.In it's beak it held a envelope with nicely written cursive.For the past hour it had been flying around the town admiring its look.It was only one more minute until the scheduled delivery.
It flew downwards towards a house that two people lived in.Outside, stood a man in armour,but it didn't matter to the bird as it flew in front of the door of the house dropping the letter.It landing nice in front of the house as the bird flew away disappearing into the night.On the envelope it read."To Prinzaku Sitruk and Thrais Avelion,From Your Friend in the Shadows Ryosuke R. Rusogo"The first of many letters to be delivered to members of the former group known as the Chasers.
Over the period of five years, Prinz rarely engaged in battle, but his sense were still sharp. "Someone is outside...And it doesn't feel...Familiar?" he mumbled to himself, but loud enough for Thrais to hear. The young man gently rubbed the weaver's shoulders before getting up and peeking through the eye hole of the wooden door. There, in front of his house stood a man in a full suit of armor. Prinz didn't recognize the man, which was enough to make him get on edge. Though, it was also obvious that the man wasn't part of the Wings that Thrais and himself had to hide from.
The dark haired man opened the door a crack, and only a crack, "Who are you?" he asked plainly.
With the moment of her asending a new year cycle in her mind, she hadn't noticed the unfamilair presence until Prinz pointed it out softly. But once he had her, old habits kicked in and snapping her head towards the window, Thrais shifted her vision and looked right through it to the one outside.
It was a man alright, dressed in heavy armor. But her gaze periced through it to see his patterned form beneath. He was strong, very strong... That armor was not for show. The gentle rub on ehr shoulder quelled her nerves a little, but she was obviously on alert. Why would such a person show up in the night outside their dwelling?
Not many reasons why that she could think of, outside of the ones she hoped he wasn't here for.
Slowly the wingweaver rose and she walked up to stand behind Prinz,a bit off the side, flanking him. She peered passed him to the stranger outside her shifted eyes seeing everything beyond the crack of the door... encluding the short appearance of a bird who dropped something upon their door step. It looked like a letter... She'd have to grasp it when she got the chance for it was stained with a familair aura. Probably on purpose if they thought of whomt hey were sending it too...
The armoured man jumped down from his perch and landed gently on the ground, despite his heavy armour this man was as nimble as a cat. He rested his hands on the worn handles of his scimitars. “My name is of no importance at the current time, Prinzaku Sitruk.” His voice wasn’t deep, but carried with it a serious tone. “But if you must, call me Whitefire for the time being.” The man grinned underneath his mask, in a flash his scimitars where out and Whitefire was off. His speed was immeasurable even with the armour, one could only imagine how fast this man could go if he took off the heavy protection. “Show me your power.” If needed he would break through the door and have the battle in the house, but from what Whitefire had heard about the veteran Chaser is he is not one to turn down a challenge.
'He's fast!' practically throwing the door open, Prinz raised his left hand and his eyes narrowed. He swiftly pushed the first scimitar away with his palm, making it so the first blade would collide with the second one. Prinz was generally leading the attacking at the house, so that Whitefire's blades would get stuck in the wood. It was true that he was once the leader of the Chasers, but it was also true that he hadn't had such a confrontation in years. Prinz rolled in the opposite direction of his opponent, and quickly grabbed the sheathed rapier that was being displayed to the side of the house. The veteran drew his weapon. The unique weapon had the finish of a rapier, but the blade of a katana- it was the heavy rapier.
It was truly an interesting sight. Prinz was fashioned in his work clothes, and there stood his opponent dressed in amazing armor. Prinz tightened the band that was holding his pony tail.
With a serious glare on his face, he shot forward at Whitefire, and made a quick thrust aimed at the heart of his armor. The attack was simply to force the fight outside.
Whitefire scimitars pierced the wood; he placed his foot against the house and pulled the weapons out. Whitefire grinned he knew that the veteran was trying to draw the battle away from the area, and he agreed he didn’t want any innocent by standards getting in the way of the battle. He jumped out of the way of Prinz thrust, kicking off the side of the house landing on the roof. Whitefire stabbed one of his scimitars into the roof and he pulled his free hand back, it began to glow white, and forced it at Prinz as he did fire erupted from his palm and lunched for Prinz. The fire was white the hottest part of all flames.
Prinz easily followed behind his opponent, but was caught off guard by the sudden burst of white flames. Surprised as he was, this wasn't the first time he had to deal with fire, so he stood his ground. Once the fire grew close enough, he twirled his rapier in a continuous circular motion. The defensive attack was enough to disburse the flames, but not without a few puffs of fire that lightly burned him.
The veteran didn't grin once as he gripped his rapier tightly. In a sudden flash, he was seen sprinting full speed as Whitefire. Prinz was fast. Very fast. What he lacked in physical strength made up for his quickness. He reached Whitefire in a few seconds, and made a diagonal slash at him. His attack was firm, and quick, but he wasn't even showing his full power yet. No, he wasn't as strong as he used to be. At least, not yet.
