Wonderland

-Accepted Characters Wonderland. The strange and unusual world that's just beyond the Rabbit Hole. Full of unique creatures, weird occurrences, and odd adventures. We all know the story of Alice falling into the Rabbit Hole, the Queen of Hearts, and The Cheshire Cat, The mad Hatter, and everyone else. But what if this all wasn't a dream? What if a young girl actually did fall into the Rabbit Hole? She actually had these adventures, and not just a reading induced dream? Well several Teens are about to find out what really happens beyond the Rabbit Hole. The "Rabbit Hole" an actual passage way to the new world, "Wonderland" Only opens once every once and a while. Every 80 years to be exact, and only on the New Moon. It is a good thing that Wonderland is literally a 'Wonderland.' It evolved nad moved just as the modern world and more. Along with the classic creatures and building, Wonderland has been revolutionized, to an even stranger world than before. The civilization is even more twisted and corrupt than before.
Now the Rabbit Hole has opened again, and it just happens to be on New Years Eve and a number of teens have stumbled onto it. Against their will they are thrust into the space we call Limbo. They seem to fall for hours, not knowing where they are, were, and where they are going. Due to the difference in time between the two worlds, aging is not that big of an issue, so Alice has only aged a few years, she is now 17 and stuck in Wonderland, with no hope of returning. Can the teens falling from the Rabbit Hole help her (and themselves) escape from Wonderland? What kind of mysteries lay beyond the Rabbit Hole? And will they ever return home?

* In regard to the character of The Chesire Cat, the original has left Wonderland, leaving behind his twin Son and Daughter. Cullan and Chasity Cheshire. Chasity will be played by acebirchy and Cullan will be played by Dangerous When Wet.Dangerous When Wet Played By: Dangerous When Wet Character Name: Alice Age: 17 Personality: Before she entered Wonderland, she was a quiet passive girl without many friends. Her only friends were the books she used to get lost in, but Wonderland changed her. She is now more of an outgoing girl with a spunky and sarcastic personality, close to being sardonic. Alice is slightly two faced, and almost always has a interior motive for what she does, making her naturally sweet half and her Wonderland revised clash quite often, though she hides it very well. Despite being slightly ignorant of goings on in the economy, Alice is very intelligent and sly holding the ability to get herself out of sticky situations using any means possible. Very modernized considering the time she was originally from. She has great fighting skills, from living in Wonderland for so long and having to protect herself from the many dangers that the strange land presented. Despite all of this weathering, she is still naturally sweet and loving, if you can get past her rough exterior. History: Not much is known after she fell into the Rabbit Hole, but she does live in a small hut in the Lotus Forest and visits the Rabbit Hole quite often. Her almost constant companion is Cullan Cheshire. He has been her friend from the tender time of her arrival, and she might as well have lived there her whole life. Her favorite place in all of Wonderland is the Lotus Forest. The building of her small hut did not take very long, and it has the basics, and some. Alice loves Cullan, but Chasity hates her. Even still Alice knows their relationship must be strong, because Cullan and Chasity still love eachother, despite their disapproval for their friends. Nickname: Cheshire Cat
Age: 17
Personality: Cullan is cunning and vindictive. He loves to lead others into dangerous situations, and watch them struggle. Much of what Cullan says is riddles, but most of the time he means for others to have to figure it out for themselves. He takes on the role of kind and caring very easily but is secretly and naturally malicious. Most of the time he doesn’t do something unless there is merit in it for him. Alice is his best friend, and the only person (other than his twin) who has ever accepted him for what he is: Two sided.
History: He is the older of the two children of the original Cheshire Cat. His twin sister is Chasity. About a year after Alice arrived in Wonderland, The original Cheshire Cat disappeared, leaving Cullan and his twin sister to fend for themselves. Chasity became very close to Queenie Heartlet and Cullan became very close to Alice, so the two separated very gradually. Cullan still holds alot affection for his little sister, but can’t stand Queenie. Alice is close to his heart and he protects her like he would Chasity, had they still been close. Cullan knows Wonderland like the back of his hand.

Personality: Chasity is sly and cunning. She's seemingly selfless, but is actually only a very good actress. She's known to seduce innocent people, then do something to them, what she does unknown. Chasity's also sleek and intelligent like cats.
History: Chasity is the daughter of the original Chesire Cat. But, like some cats, he disappeared without a trace. The only other Chesire member is her twin brother Cullan. But they don't talk much. Chasity adores her older brother, but she loathes Alice. She feels her brother's affection for the girl, or as she refers to Alice, "creature", is terrible. So Cullan hates Queenie and Chasity hates Alice. But she still loves her brother more than anything. Chasity's a sly figure and is known to be a close friend of Queenie. At times, you might see a sleek, multi-colored cat strolling through the woods. Meet Chasity Chesire.

Personality: Kris always loves to laugh and is often considered the life of the party. However, the popularity has not gotten to his head yet and he is still a nice guy. At times, he says things without thinking, things that can hurt a persons feelings, though he doesn't realize it at the time. Rarely angry, he always tries to step in and solve problems before they erupt into full out drag-down fights. He hates organization and his idea of clean is clutter.
History: He was orphaned at the age of 6 when his parents died in a car accident and has since lived his life in an orphange because any relatives he had refused to take him in. Despite this, he lived a happy life and has learned to be optimistic. He was at the New Years celebration in the park when everything happened.

Personality: Wisteria is very inquisitive. She often strays from her garden to explore Wonderland. She's also very creative, making things out of discarded petals, feathers, twigs, and leaves. Like the other flowers she loves to sing and dance, especially when she has an audience. She tends to describe people she doesn't like as "weeds" and uses other flower terminology. She likes water and sunlight and doesn't mind dirt.
History: Wisteria is a native of Wonderland - a Wisteria flower. Not long ago she discovered a mushroom that with a single bite can make her the size of a human, and another that can turn her back.

Character Name: Mitchell
Nickname: Mitch rarely, as it bugs him.
Age: 17
Personality: Mitchell is mildly sarcastic, hates surprises, and likes organization. So Wonderland would pretty much be his worst nightmare. He's not very friendly and he complains a lot, but he's also outgoing and outspoken. Even though he's pretty bright, he doesn't think before he acts, and that often gets him into trouble with others. As such, people usually don't approach him. He kind of crashed the New Years party.
History: Not much has happened to Mitchell in the past. He has a normal family and a pretty much normal life.

Character Name: Darkshine
Nickname: What ever you wish it to be.
Age: Appears to be 13 but he is much older than that.
Personality: Darkshine is a playful sort (he looks and like a child but obviously knows more than an adult and carries himself like one at times) loving to tease and help when he is needed. Just as his name implies, he is a double sided coin, being irritable, sharp tongued and secretive, speaking only in riddles as he pleases. This bi polar attitude is a normal to his nature. He loves games and treats everything as if it were one. Serious and insincere, Darkshine can be a strange and confusing fellow if you don't know how to handle him.
History: Darkshine is a native to Wonderland. He is a djinni, ones from the mystical legends that can grant wishes. However, such services are no longer available as Darkshine prefers to play and mingle. Perhaps what is closer to the truth is that he's forgotten how to grant wishes. Humans are rare and few to wonderland after all, but to him, humans (especially the strong willed type) attract the djinn like a moth to a flame.

Character Name: Maddi Hatter
Nickname: The Mad Hatter
Age: Eighteen
Personality: Maddi often feels like she has to live up to her father's standards. The Mad Hatter line supposedly was filled with kooks, but Maddi on the other hand, isn't so crazy as her dad would like her to be. Sure, she loves tea parties and un-birthday parties, but she feels as if there's more to it then that. Yes, she has her dose of crazy and random, but not to the extent of her father.
History: Maddi has always lived in Wonderland, and though she knows of an outside world, she as never been able to venture so far as to go out the Rabbit Hole. Rather, she is the daughter of the notorious Mad Hatter, and though she loves her father dearly, she hates how crazy life can be, especially when the March Hare is included. She is constantly being pressured to step into the shoes of her father when he passes, but she feels as if she isn't quite ready to commit herself to such a hectic life.
Appearance: I'm not as crazy as you may think. acebirchy Played By: acebirchy Character Name: Queenie Heartlet Nickname: Princess of Hearts Age: 17 Personality: Queenie is self-centered and pompous. She believes everyone worships her and everyone loves her. She's very energetic, though, and rarely frowns. She's not someone people enjoy being around. History: Queenie is the original Queen of Hearts' daughter. And she's exactly like her. Queenie always enjoyed having the world in her small palm. But this girl greatly differs from her mother as well. She's got more a punk-like appearance and prefers real workers to living cards. Queenie is also close friends with Chasity and they work side by side in certain situations. Appearance: Your Heart is Mine

[[I think we'll start.]]
The shafts of sun shown through the glass window, and was the first thing to hit Alice’s eyelids, illuminating her fine, symmetrical features. The long, blonde hair that had fallen out of its neat braid lay splayed across her pillow, and across her shoulders and face. The pearl white skin was illuminated in the shapes of the window-panes, and the striped white and purple cat lie sleeping at the foot of her bed. The cat was the first to awaken, and it stretched luxuriously, pawing at the blankets, arching its back and stretching. The Cheshire cat smiled a mad smile and pawed his way up Alice’s sleeping form, until he was laying on her chest. He moved up and down as the air moved in and out of the 17 year old’s lungs. Standing up lightly he twisted his head to the side and whispered, in a soft purring voice, “Alice…” Immediately the blue eyes appeared in place of the lids and the blonde looked at her companion. He jumped lithely onto the head board and Alice sat up, rubbing her sleep-filled eyes. The cat jumped off as Alice turned around. He landed not as a cat, but as a human, crouched on the floor, in a cat-like stance. Standing up he looked at her, his turquoise eyes searching Alice’s face. “Come to the Rabbit Hole…There’s something interesting there.” Without another word, the tall male swept from the room.
Alice swung her thin legs over the side of the bed, her toes freezing, and sending waves of cold as they hit the icy ground below. Getting up, she stretched arching her back much like the cat. She picked up her clothes and dressed slowly, thinking. Walking over to a makeshift dresser made out of twisted and gnarled wood, and picked up a shell comb, brushing through her hair, before putting on her shoes and walking out her door, into the startling sunlight.

[[I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to start, but here we go.]]
As the Wonderland sun rose up into the sky, a flower unfolded, revealing dainty features. Wisteria had pale skin, and long dark hair. Her dress was made of wisteria petals, as she was a wisteria flower. The little plant stretched her arms above her head, hearing flowers singing not far from her own stem. She hopped down from its top, leaf to leaf, and landed in soft soil. She glanced back at the garden, nervously brushing a few coal black locks behind her slightly pointed ears. No flower was looking her way. Wisteria darted behind a rock, which at her height, was tall enough to hide her. She continued this routine of running and hiding until she reached a circular flat spot surrounded by tall grasses that masked her from view.
Glancing around once more, Wisteria quickly went forward to a mushroom. It was purple with large pink spots - not very appetizing. However, her curiousity had led her to try it one day, and ever since she had been nibbling a bit nearly every day. And for good reason. The remarkable thing was, it always grew back. Though in Wonderland oddities were to be expected. Wisteria broke a small piece of the cap off and took a bite. Her body stretched and she became impossibly tall for a flower. So tall in fact, she appeared human. The other flora and fauna would never recognize her now. She headed off in no particular direction, enjoying the scenery she never saw from being so low to the ground.

((Ano...I agree with Mandy! I've no idea how to start, so here you go, lol! Oh, and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post! This past week I've only been able to get on for a little bit at a time, like 10 min. a day because I'm trying to study and graduate on time, lol. Again, sorry!! Also, I'll probably not get to post at all next week as I've got my mid-terms, so yeah...))
He grinned as he waved at some of the smaller children of the orphange, walking backwards as he did so. It was amusing the way they always watcheh him leave, even though he came to visit them almost every day. He had left a little over a few months ago, just a few days after his birthday. Kris couldn't help but grin again as he made his way to the park where the New Years celebration was taking place. Lord, was he looking forward to a little bit of relaxation after working so hard for the past couple of months.
As he entered the park, he watched as some of the kids seemed to gravitate towards the center. Most of them he knew, though they were all younger than him, but there were still a few fresh faces he'd never seen before. Like the one running down the hill on the other side of the park. He'd never seen her before, though she did seem vaguely familiar. Prehaps he'd seen her in passing? Shrugging, he continued forward, stopping to say hello to a few girls and slapping some of his best buds on the back in greeting.

[[Sorry I'll help you out. All you need to do is fall in the rabbit hole, and it's all down hill from there.]]
The people at the party waved and moved to the music, the park was lit with multi-colored strobe lights, and many of the teens were weaving in and out of the crowd, dancing to the blaring music, or heading over tot he refreshment table to get drinks or a snack. A giant oncrete platform had been constructed at the bottom of the hill where the party was taking place. A DJ was surrounded by thousands of chords and tables, stereo-head phones were placed lazily on his head, one ear phone resting on his neck, the other on his ear. A giant running marquee above the DJ showed the time 11:47 running over and over, coupled with things like 13 mins to midnight... and Get ready to count! The bass beat coming from huge speakers thumped loudly as the techno mixed music burst the ears of anyone standing to close. The colored lights swept the crowd in fast and sparratic patterns, while the clock ticked away the minutes till midnight.
"The minutes till the Rabbit Hole opens."
Thought the yellow-eyed boy that was gazing from the opposite side of the hill, his face unfamiliarly feline, with markings on his cheeks. Turning on his heel he walked down the other side, smiling smugly

Mitchell glanced around the party nonchanlantly as he zigzagged through the crowd of dancing teens. What fun was crashing a New Years Party if no one noticed you weren't invited? He scowled slightly at this. He watched a girl in pink running towards the festivities, pink flats in hand. He raised an eyebrow. Weird. He glanced at the clock, allowing himself to be jostled by a group of dancing girls. It was almost midnight.
Yeah, great. New Year, he thought sarcastically to himself. It seemed like something stupid to have a party for. It was just another year. Then again, teenagers wanted to have a party for everything. He shrugged noncommitally to himself, then pushed his way through the crowd. The dancefloor was stifling him - it wasn't like he was dancing anyway. He went partway up the hill and sat down in the grass, leaning back on his hands.

He noticed that she had glanced at him, but before he was given the chance to introduce himself she had walked off and he supposed she was going to go look for his friends. Shrugging, he continued to chatter with his own friends, listening to the music the DJ produced with one ear, though he was counting down the minutes in his head until the begining of the year.

Mitchell shook his head at the girl's smile. Honestly, she was way too happy. He'd never walk by and smile at someone who wasn't a friend. But he supposed that was just in her nature. He wanted to be on the dancefloor right now having a blast, but somehow the atmosphere on the hill made him want to sit still. The stars above sparkled and the moon glowed, giving it almost a weird mist shrouding it. It was oddly a clear and crisp night. He was glad he had worn a leather jacket. Mitchell glanced at the clock. It was now 11:51.

The DJ's head bobbed with the music, as various couples danced slightly more than two close on the dance floor. "Alright New Year's Eve Part People! Are you ready to count off the New Year?!" The gusto in his voice was infectious and everyone on the dancefloor replied with a loud "YES!"
11:59 scrolled lazily across the marquee, and the music had stopped to be replaced with a siren, "Ten seconds to midnight!" Screamed the Disc Jockey, "Nine! Eight!" Everyone in the surrounding area could hear them now, "Seven! Six! Five!" At four the earth began to shake, the ground below them gave a great groan, though no one on the dance floor seemed to notice...
"THREE, TWO..."
The few people on the hill did seem to notice however, as a great and spacious casam opened beneath them, swallowing them whole, just as the DJ finished with a bang of fireworks, "ONE! Happy New year!!!" He screamed into the microphone as the Earth stitched itself up, leaving nothing but an empty stretch of grass on the surrounding hill.

Ruby red eyes flared open as Darkshine felt a ripple in time, which usually sang soothingly to him. Something was causing a disturbance in the fabric of Wonderland's reality. Not really abnormal. But the djinni looked down as he stood on the surface of water. Below his feet was sky as he was standing upon the water below the surface. What could he say? He got tired of looking at himself above the water. And it was an interesting feeling, to look down and see the endless sky. Fishes of all kinds swam past as if he didn't exist. And indeed he shouldn't, but wonderland allowed him to. Wonderland was a wonderful place where things that shouldn't exist go.
'Is it time already?' The dark djinni wondered tilting his head. 'Well since I'm so busy, I guess I can take time to look into the matter.' Darkshine smiled just imaging the fun to be had. Fun was much more fun when you had a lot of work to do that you were undermining.
