Agrabah
Agrabah is an arid desert city featured in all three of the main Kingdom Hearts games. It is based on the fictional city of Disney's thirty-first animated feature, Aladdin. Agrabah's hot climate disguises a world of intrigue, both magical and political, as an evil sorcerer schemes to usurp the throne from the sultan of the realm. Little is as it seems in this world as it gets turned upside down through the antics of a certain genie. The city of Agrabah is primarily made of adobe buildings though the palace appears to be carved from marble. In the first game, there are only two small blocks for the marketplace, but the city area was expanded in Kingdom Hearts II. Just outside the city walls is a desert area. The desert itself leads to the Cave of Wonders and the ruins of an ancient civilization.

The crowd cheered around the large caged circle that was their own "Arena". In the middle of the circle a large, ominous, male lion roared over a dead body. It headed towards the edges of the fence that separated him from the people of Agrabah.

"I really don't want to...it might happen again..." a small girl with a red beret. Her right upper-arm was bandaged, as if a small wound was there.

"Yes, well...this is your job!" A short man with a large, black beard and turban yelled as he shoved her through the bright, red tent. Finally he shoved her through the tent's curtain. "So go!"

"Baa!" She yelled as she rolled out into the bright desert midday sun. She quickly pulled herself up, and shook herself off. She reached for her two short swords behind her, just as the lion started to circle.

She kept her eyes on the lion's circling form, she stayed planted in place as she turned head slightly to see the lion. She had to stay calm, she knew, or she would die.

Once the lion had completed its circle, and had gotten close enough, it leapt towards the small girl. The lion's paws outstretched, and it roared in its eagerness for new blood.

The girl swiftly dodge-rolled under, and away from, the lion. However, it was at the cost of her own hat. She swiftly turned around, noticed this, and panicked. Now it was just a freak-show.

In the hat's place horn and ears of a ram were. She didn't have time to worry about this though, as the lion was soon upon her once more. It leapt for her, wanting her blood more now that he had recognized the characteristics of his last meal.

She jumped back, but this time not unscathed. Her bandages were soon cut off apart, revealing the dark patch of skin on her right upper-arm. She glared at the lion, next time she wouldn't be so lucky.

"C'mon already!" A voice from the crowd called out.

"Yeah, finish it off Tobar!" Another one voice called out towards the smaller creature. Hr concentration wouldn't break, however, and she narrowed her eyes toward the lion. Now is when the fight really started, it was her or the lion. She was going make sure it was her.

The lion leapt again, this time the leap was less expected. Tobar had never seen a lion jump that much, most opted for running and catching the neck. This one seemed to like using its claws more.

Soon the lion was over Tobar, the only thing separating them the blade between the lions jaws, while another blade had been run through the lion's left paw. Her legs were wedged in the in between the joints of the beast's lower legs.

Tobar was struggling to hold up the massive weight, she was built for dodging and jumping away, not for strength matches. "Baaa..." she let out again in her struggle.

And then something happened, something she wished hadn't reacted to just the situation she was trying to avoid. Her arm began to throb, just as the sweat ran down her face, and the dirt joined her hair. She clenched her teeth to a dangerous point, and she worried if they would crack.

"Erhg..." She groaned as she clenched her eyes, and the pulsing continued. And then the darkness was spreading, blooming. Her heart began aching as the lion continued to struggle.

She opened her eyes suddenly, revealing pure yellow covering all her eye. She growled up at the lion above her, and began pushing it off. And soon the after her own struggle began, her sword which had once kept the jaws of the beast apart was now rammed through its head.

Tobar pulled the sword out of the lion, already lost in the darkness. She was clutching her head suddenly, and began grumbling and whimpering.

"No, I don't want this!" She whispered. "Stop!" she then yelled. and all the crowd could do was cheer. Tobar couldn't control the darkness. The man with beard came out, grabbing her arm and raising it up.

"The winner!" He exclaimed, but the cheering soon ceased replaced by screams. Tobar had rammed her blade through the man's throat, and pulled.

As the people ran away, screeching, she calmly walked over to red beret and calmly picked it up. She placed it back in its place, and walked towards through the tent.

She soon had killed all the people in the tent, and soon she cornered the last man in it. She was covered in blood, she was faster now, stronger, but she wanted to stop. Now.

Tears ran down her eyes as she saw the last living thing left in the entire caravan. She let out a weak bleat, almost like she was telling herself to stop. A young boy who shivered in a corner, fear in his eyes. He most likely had been there with his father.

"Please..." Tobar asked softly before continuing. "Run!" she finally screamed at the boy, just as she began to make her way over slowly.

The young boy scratched his hands on the ground for a moment, as if he was nervous. But soon, sand was thrown at Tobar's eyes, blurring her vision. The young boy scrambled out of the tent, by sneaking under the cloth, and soon he was gone.

Tobar's knees met the ground, as she sobbed and sniveled.

"Forgive me!" she cried out to the dead all around her. And she soon was up, on her way towards other hearts, where ever her possessed feet took her.

Nemesis arrived in Agrabah moments after the slaghter of the humans, he sat quitely as Tobar walked away from the massacre.

He appeared by her side and placed his hand on her shoulder, "Young lady, are you okay?" He masked his heartless presence and was dressed as a commoner.

Tobar's head snapped up towards the owner of the hand that was on her shoulder, ters still in her now yellow heartless-like eyes. Her dark patch of skin was still climbing over her arm, giving of small wisps of darkness.

She sniffed again before speaking. "I..." she looked out towards the people, clenching the fist of the infected arm. She swallowed thickly, her mouth dry.

"I killed them!" she cried, lifting her uninfected arm to wipe her eyes. Smears of blood were over her faith.

"Even if some of them were cruel, some of them acted like my family..." She sobbed again, her heart felt like it was trying to rip itself apart. She sobbed pathetically.

"But..." she started, looking up towards the strange man. She continued while trying to clear her eyes of tears, squinting her eyes slightly.

“Why aren’t I trying to kill you?”

"I can make the pain stop...if you wish."
Nemesis leaned in close to her, "Make you 'normal' again."

Nemesis looked into her eyes showing his unearthly golden eyes with slit pupils, "Do you understand?"

Tobar brought her arm that's darkness was still steadily climbing. She looked at it for a moment more, her eye seeming to loose their yellow, and fading to brown. Her vision dulled, becoming darker. She was exhausted.

She looked back up at him, slowly, and her eyes began to close. "It doesn’t matter...if I'm like this or not." She dropped her arms, her head drooping forward.

"I'll always be strange..." And then she collapsed to her side, hat rolling away from her. Her ram horns and ears exposed. She reached for her hat, weakly holding onto it as she fell into her own dilapidated sleep.

A dark hole appeared beneath her, soon growing large enough to engulf her whole body. It rapped threads of darkness all around her, until she finally became part of the darkness herself. The hole soon dissipated along with her.

A small Oasis was the only single difference that the dry, arid landscape of the desert could show, It was night time now, the sun had set a few moments before, and was now nothing but a thin line of orange on the horizon.

Tobar was next to the water, curled up, the darkness had stopped flowing, and now something new seemed to occur to her. She had wanted to kill those people, it hadn't just been the darkness at work; it was her own anger, and hatred, it seemed to steal power from.

A small wail could be heard coming from her still form, and then a bleat. Why had she been brought here, into the middle of the dessert. Was that her punishment? At this point, after what happened, she deserved it. No one from the caravan would ever forgive her.

She turned onto her back, looking up towards the crystal lined sky. What had she done to deserve some queer illness like this, and why couldn't it have been something the ashipu could have cured.

She sat up, looking out towards the water. She would have to try and find her way back to the city soon, the desert was a dangerous place, no matter what time of the day it was.

Tobar stood, and headed towards water. Looking down at the calm water's reflection she touched her skin. She really hoped something like that would ever happen again.

Then she realized something, as she touched the patch, it had grown. Instead of a small patch it covered her entire arm, the only thing spared was her hand. As she followed the blotches up her arm she also realized it had started to climb unto her shoulder.

"Baaaah!" she started to bleat in a wild, panicked tone. It was spreading.

The water, began to ripple, and this distracted her from her panic ecxerpt momentarily. She looked at the water more intently, her eyes squinting in a hostile manner. And then the water started to gather, like a whirl pool outside the water. A body began to form.

"You!" A feminine voice yelled from the watery depths. "You threaten my prey with this new promise of pestilence, and violence!" A blue woman began to for, she had no lower body, only mist in it's place. She pointed a finer towards Tobar.

"How dare you!" She yelled now, her braided hair flinging about. She glared at Tobar with glowing silver eyes. She was a djinn. Tobar kneeled to the ground, head cast downward in fright.

"Only I can destroy the people of this world, their fate rests in my will!" She was calmer now, but her voice still could pierce. Tobar's eyes were wide as she gazed up towards something she never wished to see, an evil spirit.

The Djinn suddenly stopped her angry rant, floating down towards Tobar. She made a wispy sound as she went, rapping her hands gently on Tobar's shoulder. The flesh never touched, only the nails touched the arms of Tobar. Long, shiny blue nails that had squared edges touched Tobar, and she whipped her face away and whimpered.

"Oh, silly little sheep. I won't kill you, no...that would be no fun." The Djinn floated away from Tobar, feigning a mother's tone in front of the cowering sheep-girl. She posed a dancer's pose before her eyes began to glow again.

She spun, twirling around like a concubine for a King. And the she finally pinted her finger towards Tobar again. "You shall be exiled, away from this world!" She flong her arm out in front of her, in a negative gesture.

"And you shall never come here again..." The ground began to shake slightly, and the sand under Tobar's now standing feet began to spin. Faster and faster the sand went, until finally Tobar dissapeared through it.

Falling right through the world.
