User name:Melody Gogyou Name: Captain Morgan Flint (aka Lady Plunder) Age: 20 Appearance: HistoryFlint was not always a pirate, she at first came from a rich family in the Virgin Islands. Though on July 13, 1652, a large pirate ship with blood red sails came to port. It had no flag. Though as a child Morgan had always loved piracy, plunder, and treasure. All was quiet until midnight until a sound of what seemed to be thunder cracked in the distance. Startled by the noise Morgan jumped out of bed to see the commotion. Canon were being fired at will on the peaceful town. Just as suddenly as the cannons had gone off pirates stormed the shores, plundering as they went. The feared Captain William Kidd was their leader. As the night went on, many had been left dead while a few were taken as captives, Morgan being one of them. Captain Kidd had been looking for someone to take over the Midnight Mistress for sometime now. And as fate would have it, Morgan was chosen as his apprentice. As the years went by on the high seas Morgan had grown into a beautiful but deadly pirate Captain. Village after village she would plunder and kill, soon after she raided a small island in the Caribbean she was acquired the nickname "Lady Plunder". Now Morgan is being hunted down as the most wanted pirate.
Personality: Flint is a very demanding Captain, she it tough and good with her cutlass. No man, woman, or beast has been able to make her fall on her knees. She is also cold heart, the word mercy, kindness, and sympathy do not exist in her vocabulary.
Username: Xxpainfully_in_lovexX Name: Prince Jacob XII Age: 21 Appearance: History: Being a prince, of course Jacob would be born in the quiet life. Safe behind the walls of the palace. Our prince was born in the kingdom south of the Virgin Islands. Not that many people know about this island, but it is known to some people to be the richest, meaning more attempts at stealing possessions by pirates. Jacob knew nothing of these so called pirates till he was five years of age. As said above, Jacob lived a quiet life. His father, King Jacob XI, ordered no servants, no tutors to tell his son anything about what is going on outside the palace walls. At first, being only a little boy at the time, he was alright with it, always playing with the royal family's pet. But soon everything would change. At the age of seven, Jacob walked the halls of the palace, still oblivious of the fact that outside the palace walls, everything was running amuck in the village. But while strolling, Jacob stumbled into his father's personal library. Out of all the books that could possibly catch his eye, one about pirates was the one that made him the most curious. Sure he had heard about other stories of monsters and all that such, but hearing about these so called pirates, Jacob was curious. So opening the book, Jacob read on with what he was able to read, always having to guess what some of the words he was reading meant but able to catch on what was being told. So for years, Jacob studied more and more about pirates in secret. Unlike most people who would first learn about new people, he did not want to become one. He thought pirates very uncivilized. But the fact that they steal "treasure" facinated him. It was until he was fourteen did he realize that his kingdom was the main target for pirates.
At fourteen, Jacob was learning his usual sword play with his tutor who was the commander of the kingdom's army, when he heard it. The sound of a canon. It was rather far away from the kingdom, but he was able to hear it, distracting him from what he was doing. And that was when he had to ask. So turning to back to the commander, Jacob asked the one question the king was hoping he would not ask till he was of age. But as life goes, nothing ever goes as planned. And because he was ordered to tell him everything, the commander took Jacob on a late night horse back ride through the forest, showing him everything that is happening outside the palace walls. As Jacob heard all this, he was shocked that all that was happening to his people was so wrong. And to think that he would soon rule this kingdom. He had to do something about it. That is why, at the age of sixteen, instead of always attending parties that would prepare him for when he would take the crown, he trained with the commander to fight off the pirates that threaten to come to his kingdom to claim "treasure". Of course, he did attend parties, but he was all too distracted to pay attention to all the women that flirted with him, hoping to be his wife. Sure he was able to dance without stumbling or tripping, but his mind was in a different place. Because of all this, especially for someone that was only seventeen, Jacob's father thought it best that he stay away from the kingdom for a bit. So King Jacob XI sent his son to England for a couple years to study at school. This still didn't help, Jacob still saw pirates. And while in England he read about this pirate named Captain William Kidd who was ruthless in every way. And also that he had asked a woman to be his apprentice. This confused him but either way, if any person was to be trained by a man like Kidd, that person was to be stopped when she reached his kingdom. Hopefully by then, he'll be back home and not behind books.
When he turned nineteen, his father permitted him to come back home. Fully educated, Jacob looked at pirates a little different. He thought that if you ration with them patiently, maybe they would leave you alone. But then again, he knew it would not work, it was still worth a try. Unfortunately, when he got home, a wall stood in front of the whole kingdom, to keep away the pirates. This wall was his father's idea. This idea only made Jacob roll his eyes. And he was the one that needed the education, while his father, he was still as dumb witted as ever. He believed that all the gold and priceless heirlooms has blinded his father from common sense. And since Jacob was not one to think of the gold, not even when he would be king in a few years, he tried his hardest to at least show the villagers a good time without feeling like strangers behind the wall, like he did in the palace. So he persuaded his father to ask for monthly festivals that would entertain the villagers, bring smiles on children's faces. At first, his father objected to it, but then his own dimwitted father found a way to play this thing to his advantage. Almost turning twenty, Jacob's father told him that if he was going to hold these festivals, in return, his father would invite all the high class women for Jacob to choose from as a soon-to-be bride. Jacob didn't know what to say to this, but he was doing all of this for the villagers, seeing as they already hated his father for making them stay behind the wall, away from the clear blue ocean and the freedom to rome around. So Jacob had no choice but to accept the offer.
For a whole year, Jacob spent festival after festival speaking all eligible bachelorettes, trying to see their potential as his future bride. But none came to his fancy. All he ever did when with the women, was nod his head at the right places as they went on and on about something he had no idea about. The only time he ever had fun with the women, was when they were dancing. And the rest of the time, he would try to play with the children of the village, laughing with them secretly when they all saw the sour look on the women's face. Being restless that he has not found a wife yet, King Jacob decided to pick for him. And now to his dismay, Jacob is to marry a duchess' daughter. The daughter is rather beautiful, but he knew that all she wanted in him was his riches, like all other women. But he couldn't object, his father's words were law, and now, at the age of twenty-one, he is betrothed. Personality: Being an eligible bachelor, with a crown as an inheritance, Jacob has learned through the years to be patient. He is soft-spoken at regular times when he doesn't have to fully act all princey. He is calm, patient, and lets anyone speak who wants to be heard, whether their words are a waste of time or not. Since he mostly talks to women now, well that was until he had his fiance, Jacob is also a good listener, and is always ready to hear what you have to say. He's kind-hearted, knows when to give mercy, and is what you would call an all around good guy. He is also easy to learn things. Ever since he could learn how to read, even before it, Jacob can learn things easily by himself. He was able to learn enough about pirates when he was younger to know that they were evil. Everything from reading, to learning how to fight, he was able to learn quick. So that makes him intelligent, maybe intelligent enough to do better in ruling a kingdom than his good for nothing father, even with a conceited fiance in the way. Secretly though, Jacob does wish for real love. He never says this to any of his friends, but Jacob wants something more than a betrothal, he wants a real love. The one that feels right. Hell would even fall for a pirate if it was right.

The wind brushed softly through Morgan waist long, brown hair. The salty air always did smell better late at night just before a raid, Turning quickly on her heels Morgan smiled wickedly at her crew, "Men, as you all know we have been put on the most wanted list by the king himself". All of the men nodded, some chuckled in response, Morgan continued, "Now tonight I've planned a raid that may come in handy. Tonight we take a prince hostage, I want him brought on this ship ALIVE, any of you so much as thinks about killing him I'll make sure you see Shark Cove quicker then you can chug rum. Now load the cannon, hoist out colors, and ready your cutlasses".
She turned around quickly, looking at the unsuspecting village, the silence of the night was quickly shattered by the sounded of the loud roar of cannons. The air now mixed with thick smoke and gun powder. The Midnight Mistress was now close enough to shore to drop anchor, several of her crew jumped out heading towards the island. Morgan took a small boat to shore again smiling, as people screamed in horror, " Oh your highness come out come out where ever you are", her voice sing-songy and ominous as she walked toward the palace, several large crew men behind her.

"Get the villagers out of here now!" Jacob ordered the army as many running and screaming women and children ran through the village at the sound of a canon. Jacob woke up with a start when he heard the canon. By the time his father could even put on his shoes, Jacob was already in his outdoor clothes, slipping into his boots and took up his sword. Running out of the palace, he saw the army get ready for an attack. He was informed that pirates were on the islands, and they looked like they were really looking for something important. Not on my watch! he thought as he ran with the army to the village. "My lord, get back inside it's not safe for you to be out here!" he heard the captain yell at him. "These are my people and I need to protect them!" he cried out and stabbed at a pirate that was about to hurt a man. Just then he heard someone yell out orders. He turned to see a woman, or what looked like a woman giving out orders to the pirates. "He's right there!" he heard a pirate yell out as he pointed at Jacob. His eyes widened and before he could do anything to defend himself, he was knocked unconcious.

"Thanks for the treasure and the prince, but we must leave you for now" Morgan turned on her heels quickly, running swiftly for the long boat her cutlass hitting her side as she ran. She looked quickly over at her crew, only a few member had been killed and a few injured. "Throw him in the boat and get your good for nothing asses back to the ship". Finally at the long boat, Morgan jumped in as the tiny village got smaller, and her ship got larger.
Only a few moments had passed, and they were back on the Mistress. The prince bound to the mast. Morgan smiled at her victor. "Once we set sail wake the whelp". Crew members dashed around the ship, hoisting the anchor, untying the sails. The black waves beat against the side of the ship as the Virgin Islands got farther and father away.

Jacob groaned at the sudden pain he felt in his gut, like someone had kicked him. His eyes closed shut, and coughing roughly, Jacob turned on his side and took a few deep breaths then opened his eyes. With the rocking feeling his had under him, Jacob had a bad feeling that he was not at the palace. Getting up slowly so that he would not hurt himself anyore than he already was, Jacob looked around the ship, at the many pirates that were working to keep this damn thing moving. Where the hell am I? he thought as he got to his feet and looked around the ship more. Up at the wheel, he saw the woman from earlier, and now that he had a clearer view of who she was, his eyes widened. It's the Lady Plunder! What would she want with me? he thought as he quickly made his way up the stairs towards the woman. He had no fear of her, even when his sword was taken away. "I demand that you take me back to the village!" he called out, standing next to the woman. He was furious now, this woman and these barbarians had forced him out of his home.

The sudden voice of the prince and his demands made her chuckle evilly, turning towards him she smiled, grabbing his checks in her hand. "Sorry you royal pain in the a** but, I just can't do that. Just because your a prince from the Virgin Islands, don't mean that you give the orders around here". Morgan turned back to the ocean, though she had to admit he had guts for coming up here and confronting her.

Jacob shoved the woman's hands off his cheeks. He couldn't believe this was happening. "Well then if you're not going to bring me back to my people I demand that you tell me where you are taking me!" he demanded, stepping away from her. He walked over to the starboard side of the ship, resting his hands in front of him on the wood. I can't believe this is happening! he thought repeatedly as he looked out at the dark ocean. He hadn't really seen the ocean this way in a long time, not since he traveled to England and back. Sighing, he looked over at the crew, some were really beat from earlier. Shaking his head, he turned away from the crew and stared out at the nothingness of the sea.

Morgan just shook her head, "Well plan is to keep you with me until the King of England calls off his navy. Word will spread quickly to him, I don't think that the king will put my ship in the range of British armada, and risk having you blown to Davy Jone's locker. Besides should it matter to you were we head.". She smiled again, quickly she turned and walked towards her cabin, her first mate still barking out orders. One of the larger member took the helm making his way north.

Jacob listened to what she was saying to him with a distracted mind. He was trying to think ofa way to get off this ship, but no ideas came to mind. When he heard the woman walk off to her cabin, that was when he took deep breaths. He didn't care if he looked like a wimp to the other crew members. He ran a hand through his long blonde hair, trying to understand the feeling his had inside him. Was it relief? Relief for what? He had just been kidnapped! And it probably wouldn't take long for the British navy to find him. He had grown a small friendship with the King's daughter and son when he was at school with them, and he did not stop sending letters to them. He was hoping that he would marry the daughter when he was of age....that was why he was feeling relieved! His own wedding, which was scheduled only weeks away, was going to have to be canceled because of this kidnapping. Shaking his head, he walked over to a wooden box and sat on it, pondering over why he felt so relieved to have the wedding postponed till he returned, whenever that would be.

Morgan looked over her cabin, it was so elaborate. Candles light every dark corner. Sighing quickly, she wished Kidd was still here, he would know what to do with the prince. She didn't even know his name, but he must have known who she was. The famous nickname "Lady Plunder".

Jacob rested his head on the wooden plank, he didn't realize until now how extremely tired he was from all the running he did tonight. With a sigh, he used his arms as a pillow and instantly fell asleep where he sat. it was uncomfortable, the rocking of the ship was not what he was use to the the salty sea splashed at his face at times. But what could he do? He was going to have to get use to it now that he was held captive. He wasn't going on some elegant trip to some other country. He was going to have to survive with pirates as much as possible.

Morgan awoke quickly from her desk, had she really fallen asleep, either way it didn't matter. Quickly she stood and walked back out onto deck, her eye's quickly fell upon the sleeping prince. Snorting she took the stairs to the helm two at a time, he thick heels clicking as she walked. Looking at the stars she began to hum a soft melody to herself. For some reason she felt restless and couldn't seem to go back to sleep, the soft tone had been from when she was younger still living in the Virgin island when she was still innocent and still royalty.
