Ron Paul did excellent in Iowa.

First of all, he beat Giuliani. He beat him bad. Rudy Giuliani is a candidate that has had more media face time, and is known throughout the United States. Giuliani didn't campaign much in Iowa because he, like Paul, is going to put his eggs into the February 5th basket.

Secondly, Ron Paul got a lot of support in Iowa - the corn state. The state where ethanol and alternative fuel is a big issue.
"Please remember that Iowa's entire economy revolves around corn. Ron Paul has consistently voted against a corn subsidy for Iowa and because of this it was a foregone conclusion that it would severely hurt him. The fact that many Iowans voted for him (seemingly against their own economic interests) is a testament to the fact that people out there are truly getting the bigger picture. I am counting 10 percent of the vote to be a major victory."

Please keep in mind that this is the first state. Only 49 more to go. Ron Paul is expected to do better in the upcoming Wyoming and New Hampshire primaries.

Sadly, we can't count Rudy out yet, not unless he bombs in New Hampshire and especially Florida, where he's counting on transplanted New Yorkers that are well distributed across the state. I don't care what Pat Robertson says or what everyone else thinks of the Evangelicals, they're too smart to support Rudy en masse.

I'm hoping Thompson's campaign collapses under his own apparant weariness. It would also be nice if Romney used his money to educate the public on McCain's strong liberal side and his role in the savings and loan scandal of the 1980s and then get trashed for running a bunch of negative ads, thus eliminating them both.

Trancredo is already out and Hunter has no steam, if things happen the way I want it would boil down to Paul and Huckabee. Personally, I think Paul has the stronger, more conservative, more American platform, but Huckabee is probably more likable and has more executive experience than Paul.

Of course Rudy isn't out. I think once Thompson and McCain lose ground, and Huckabee loses his money and his faults and past become aware to people, the main show is between Rudy, Romney and Paul.

Huckabee did good because of the evangelical vote and his face time. I really don't think it was anything other than that. Hopefully he loses in a few primaries soon and starts to shake in his boots.

I dunno, The GOP primaries are up in the air!
I hope Ronnie Gets it!
What is bullshit is the fact that Ron Paul wasn't even in the NH Primaries.
I hope that the rest of the candidates lose money and support LOLZ!
So far McCain is the Projected winner in New Hampshire sad
Where does Ronnie have good Ground?
