Age: Fifteen
Appearance: Iris has shaggy, straight black hair that falls over his brow.He could be described as good-looking, though quite scrawny, with lanky arms and long, skinny legs. Each of his eyes is a different color; his right is dark grey, his left is teal. He has fair skin, and soft, boyish facial features, including a small, round, slightly upward-pointing nose. Iris is about average height for his age, standing at five feet and seven inches tall.

Abilities: Excellent at healing, using a staff, cleaning, and is a decent cook.
Personality: Iris is a kind-hearted, humble and honest person. He's talkative and friendly, but is not the sort to stand out in a crowd, which is how he likes it. He derives simple pleasure from helping others when he can. Iris is intelligent in most senses of the word, but unfortunately very naive and trusting, which can be a big letdown for him when he's proven wrong. He tends to become very emotionally dependent on those he gets close to, and wears his heart on his sleeve.
Good points: Very quick, great at defensive combat (especially when using a staff), and has a lot of skill in healing. He knows a lot about different medicines, herbal remedies and what-have-you, and can fix just about any non-fatal wound.
Bad points: He is clumsy with any sort of weaponry heavier than a shortsword, he can't use ranged weapons like guns or bows, and isn't much good at offensive fighting.
Bio: The youngest of five children born to Cassandra Winterborn. The first ten years of his life were simple and happy enough, though when his mother fell ill, he and his siblings were sent to live temporarily at the church that his mother was a member of. Iris enjoyed living there, singing hymns, playing the organ, helping clean the church, reading scriptures, and learning to heal people. He became a devout little monk-in-training, and though he was taught to practice peace, he even learned some combat from another, older monk, in order to defend the sanctuary. Soon his brother and sisters were old enough to leave, and did so, but Iris decided to stay and keep up his duties at the church. Despite being very religious, he always found himself interested in darker forces, being drawn to vampire lore and the like. As such, when the Vampire Wars broke out, though most abandoned the church, Iris remained, allowing people on either side to take sanctuary inside the cathedral's walls.
Other: Iris likes cleaning and helping around the house/chapel/wherever he's staying, because tidying up helps him feel productive and like he's taking care of people.
