Today in after school I was hanging out in my old english teacher's room with two of my friends playing music. I turned on Les Miserables (Little Fall of Rain and On My Own because I'm in a fight with my bf) and they NEVER HEARD OF LES MISERABLES! *screams of terror and lightning bolts* Thank God my english teacher knew it, haha. I almost died. My mouth was WIDE OPEN when they told me they never heard of it. eek
Has anyone else had moments like these?

You have it easy, my ex-best friend, well she had heard of Les Mis and hated it, because I quote 'The music is bad' and she refused to even relisten to it, or to watch it, she decided it was awful and that was it... I wish I could say I stopped being friends with her because of that, because it would probably be better than my actual reason, but I didn't, well, it's kinda a reason way out there, but it's not the main reason, but kinda did have something to do it...

Yeah, you're right.
My english teacher and I started freaking out, though. We were like "Have you guys lived in a hole?"

lol, I used to hang out in the music room before classes started with my ex-best friend and a couple others, and I used to bring cds. She hated Les Mis although the rest of us (including the music teacher) loved it, she always complained if we put it on, but when I told her to bring her own cds which shut her up because she never did

Haha, nice.
And all my friends make fun of me because I don't know a bunch of actors by name. So now everytime someone asks me if i grew up in america, I tell them I grew up in Sweden. xd

This is never a problem for me.
Because after only minutes of conversation with me, Les Miserabes is brought up so many times that whomever is involved becomes an expert

My friend Alicia is now pretty much an expert, she even knows about the Fantabulous Patti LuPone, the best Fantine ever (who I saw Live in Concert Yay! SO much fun!)

Patti LuPone originated the role in London, and she has the most amazing voice, recently she was in the revival of Sweeney Todd and if you want to experience what an awesome performer she is rent Sweeney Todd live in concert, amazing!
