Pyrokinesis is the ability to control, ignite and extinguish fire, using the powers of one's mind. Now that we have that settled, i am having issues building a case file for this phenomenon. Does anyone have personal experience or know of stories?

I have no great proof of the ability to control it, but have found it to be difficult for people to start fires around me, especially if I don't want it started... But that may have to do with the fact that I am incredibly water-aligned (my sun and rising signs are both Scorpio, and that is likewise the house that Venus was in at the time of my birth; additionally, I was born in a water year according to the Chinese calendar), and my personal energies are usuaaly felt as cool to icy, so that may be all of it. I can light the fire myself, though, without to much of a problem, though it has to be through traditional means. I would probably be more capable of cryokinesis...

I think that's a good start, pyrokensis is also known for control of heat energy within and between atoms.

methinks it is control of friction within the aura, if the person with pyrokinesis learns to aura bend, they could start fires even at a distance.

I don't know why or how, but sometimes when I'm just walking, things catch on fire. 0_o I put it out, ad walk away like nothing happened. xD I hate that...
