The face is good, but I think the head needs to be a little fuller or something. Maybe it's just because of the jutting forehead like Kakashi said. It might help to draw the basic shape of the head without the hair first to make sure it all connects naturally. Also, the bulge in the neck looks a bit strange. The last thing is the foot and the toes. It's an amazing foot, considering how hard they are to draw (at least for me) but the angles seem a little off. The way the foot is turned, you should be able to see the side of the foot and the pinky toe. The pinky toe is a little squished how it is now. you could probably fix that by moving the other toes up and over a little bit to give it more room, and perhaps making them skinnier, since you would be viewing them at an angle. Other than that, I think the piece is really good, especially for someone who's not used to drawing guys. The proportion turned out really nice, and I love the hands.

And i'm thinking about adding some more hair to his head because the poky forehead is really bugging me, and i think the hair might even it out a little (or just cover it up). I kinda like the bulge on his neck actually... I don't know how anatomically accurate it is (i obviously didn't have a model to draw it off of) but it's supposed to be like muscle... i'll look it up though. thanks for your input!!!

haha! nice! And the head doesn't bother me, maybe just a receding hair line? The personality in it is great. I'd hang out with this guy. ^^ And the bulge in his neck sort of looks like swelling. If his head were more forward, there'd be a bulge from his spine curving, but that's a bit big (took me a minute to notice, in truth) You could draw the trapezius muscle, that connects the shoulder to the back of the neck. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trapezius_muscle mrgreen

Thanks Frog ^_^ Yeah, freakishly enough i found a guy who looks like him after i drew the picture. It's the lead singer from "Kutless" (well...i think they look similar anyway). The only difference really is that he's blonde. I got some books out from the library on anatomy and found out that i'm wrong about the bulge thing lol, and thanks for the link 3nodding
