The rules of this guild are strict, but not so strict that your brain will implode trying to understand and uphold them. We follow a simple two-warning rule. If you break a rule once, you get a warning. If you break a rule twice, you get kicked out. 1.) Do not be illiterate! If you start posting in different perspectives (such as in first-person and third-person in the same post without doing so intentionally) you will be given a warning. Additionally, if you lack proper grammar, spelling, and overall sentence structure in your posts constantly, you will also be given a warning. You need not worry about several errors, but if you repeatedly display horrid grammar, spelling, or overall sentence structure, you'll need to work on it.
.) Minor godmodding, such as landing a punch or giving someone a scratch or pushing them, is acceptable in any roleplay made by me. Heavy godmodding, such as killing another character, is only acceptable with the other roleplayer's permission. However, this rule may not apply in threads made by other users. They may not allow any godmodding at all.
.) Do not use excessive cursing. If you use a mild curse once in a while, that's fine, but by no means should I see this in every one of your posts. @^#& that @()& cat! Capiche?
.) No OOC unless it applies directly to the roleplay. All chatting is to be done in the free talk section.
.) Respect all other members in this guild and treat them fairly. Everyone has -- or will -- slaved over this guild and poured hours of dedication and effort into it. While in-character rivalries are fine, out-of-character impoliteness and meanness (please excuse the lack of better word) are not tolerated. Abusive comments, flaming, trolling, harassment, and stalking are not allowed either.
.) ABSOLUTELY NO PERFECT OR ALL-POWERFUL CHARACTERS! There are no exceptions unless there is actually a plot behind having a character who is one of the aforementioned characteristics. Even then, you MUST check with a captain or vice-captain.
.) Keep the rating of all threads rated PG-13 or below. Cybering, other sexual situations, explicit violence, and other mature topics are absolutely forbidden. If we catch anyone raising the rating of any topic to something beyond PG-13, we will take action and ensure that the rating is lowered back down to something suitable for most ages. Likewise, hate-based threads, posts, roleplays, etc. will not be tolerated.
.) Please do not stretch any of the pages horizontally (either by writing out extremely long words without spaces, having huge images, or using another means of doing so). It's annoying. Additionally, please have the spaces between paragraphs double-spaced. It's the proper Internet format.
.) You may not, in any way, duplicate, copy, mimic, or plagiarize any of the content of this guild unless given permission from the creator. This includes the descriptions of things, writing, roleplays, images, graphics, etc.
.) Do not spam. Spam includes one-liners and anything less. Or anything that holds no point.
.) It is highly preferred if posts are written in third person, past tense. First person is tolerated, as well as present tense, but those are not preferred.
.) Which forums you have access to is judged by which keys you possess. Thus, you may not stray into a forum you do not have access to.
.) Please avoid bright, neon, pastel, or overall hard-to-see colors. They burn the eyes and make reading terribly unpleasant.
.) Bumping should be kept to a bare minimum. Only if no one has posted in a thread for over two weeks may you bump. The only other case in which you may bump is if your thread is no longer displayed on the first page of a forum's topic list. The same applies to the free-talk section.
.) It is preferred that descriptions are used in place of pictures, but not absolutely necessary.
.) Activity is preferred. Fellow members, please do not fall inactive. It is preferred that you post at least every five days at MINIMUM.
.) You may not make a thread in any subforum without being Silver Status or higher. NIO EXCEPTIONS!
