The tall, dry savanna grasses waved mesmerizingly as dry desert winds blew across the African desert. The sun, a brilliant blotch against the pale cornflower blue sky. The sand beneath your paws shifted, as if it would engulf you in it's crystalline grains. As you walk on, you see an occasional jackrabbit skitter by, or a hyena pack run by you, wondering how hard you would be to bring down. Suddenly, a large, slender Acacia tree branches out infront of you, and a dense growth of Elephant grass grows in a thick circle around Rackna's pridelands. It keeps the sands from shifting so plants and water can survive and keep his pride alive. Many small creatures crawl in, but can't get out, giving the lions plently of prey. -taken from the old thread-

June 14th, 2oo6- It seems that our king Rackna is riding an emotional rollar coaster at the moment. First, the curiousity with Briseis, then the joy of accepting Kanashimi into the pride, then the sadness of Jadera leaving. What's next? xD

April 3oth, 2oo6- This just in! It turns out that we currently have THIRTEEN members! Seeing as how prides can only be fifteen members strong, only TWO more lions will be accepted in, unless something happens later on and there is another opening.

April 29th, 2oo6- Lots of changes have taken place across Rackna's pridelands in the last few weeks! First of all, Rackna and Elli's first litter of cubs have grown into stunning teenagers, which brings up a devistating point: Rellick is leaving to start his own pride. He has decided, with his father's permission and blessing, to take along with him Brooke and Areli. Good luck to the three of them! Also, Elli and Rackna had two more cubs, young Deka and Aritania! Yay! ^^

March 27th, 2oo6- Wow, lots of new cubs have appeared all of a sudden! It's as if Rackna has been blessed for releasing Kichea and her cubs to Akin. Thank goodness that matter has been settled! We now welcome into the pride: Briseis, Tay-yibah, Brooke, and Areli!

March 6th, 2oo6- Pastel was... released. Rackna was growing tired of her incesent whining, so she is no longer with us. Kichea has disappeared for some reason, but another lioness has entered. Welcome Wategra!

February 2oth, 2oo6- Pastel has stayed with us, for Karver wished not to fight. Actually, Karver and Rackna's prides have become allies, believe it or not! AND Babies are coming into the picture! That's right, Rackna's finally a DAD! *hearts*
