I just kind of wanted to get this out of my system. If anyone wants to comment, feel free but please do not advocate a system here. That really isnt the point.

I am so freaking tired of everyone talking about the console wars. I mean seriously, who cares anymore? I for one, do not. I mean, I enjoy making jokes about the PS3 as much as any other xbox fan, but if someone wants a PS3, let them buy it, and get off their back. You like the Wii? Great. Have fun and enjoy the games you want to enjoy.

Now, why cant people focus some of their misguided hate into something productive? Why cant the stupid game producers devise a way to have cross-platform multiplayer support? That would be a noble cause. Then we could have more of a choice about what game system to buy.

I mean, as it stands now anyway, there is no ultimate gaming system, and especially with the Wii, I can hardly see the competition at all. I dont mean that in a negative way. I only mean that the Wii is an entirely different gaming system than the 360 and the PS3. Its not quite hardcore, in the sense that the controller is unorthodox to the way I have been gaming for like 15 years. And then there is the 360. Yeah the hardware sucks, but its still a good machine. I have not seen the red ring of death and neither have many of my friends. Yeah, it happens, but not as much as some people say. Another thing is, it would seem as if the overheating problem has been solved to an extent. I was playing on my friends 360 all day and the thing never even got hot. I wont talk about the PS3, but the point is if someone wants it, then so be it.
