What's this I see? A Rikki original story?
Can it be true?

The answer is YES, it is true, and it is original and mine.
Surprised?
I'm sure someone is.

Well seeing Star write her awsome story made me want to get in on some of the action and so I've started writing for my idea I had WAY back in yester-years.

so Here's Santeka: Dark Rooms:

Dark Rooms

There’s a legend from long ago than anyone can remember that says…

A long, long time ago the creatures of Neither realm held a long battle to determine who would be ruler of the human plain. Many years even eons passed and the battle continued on until one day when a new creature entered the fray. It’s said that with a single swing of his weapon he was able to kill many.

This seemed to be true as many of the creatures turned to seek him out and defeat him. Many of them were never seen alive again. Those who were luck to survive would tell the others of the horrible things they had witnessed. Many things were said about him “He shows no mercy”, “He bathes in the blood of those he kills” and the one rumor that seemed to be true “He fights like a demon.”

Soon everyone had heard of him and named him ‘the Demon’. The Demon was said to lurk around the battle fields on the edges of the Neither realm. Those who dared to adventure into the battle fields would either never come back or return changed forever.

It seemed like there was no stopping the Demon, the leaders of the Neither realm came together and agreed that this Demon must be stopped. They gathered their best warriors and sent them out to defeat the Demon. An even greater battle had been started, as the warriors had never known how strong the Demon really was.

Many of the warriors died in the battle and it seemed like the Demon would win, but one of the warriors stepped up and called for the Demon to fight him one on one. The Demon agreed and fought the brave warrior, it was apparent that the Demon was more powerful than the warrior but there was one thing that the Demon did not expect.

During the climax of the battle the warrior was severely wounded and the Demon was about to make the final blow, but just as he did the warrior released something from within his body. The warrior had stored up enough magic in his body to create a single Imprisonment Seal. So when the Demon came in for the killing blow the warrior gathered up the last of his strength and grabbed the Demon. The warrior looked the Demon right in the eye and gave him his final words.
“Here is where you’re finally defeated...”

As the Demon’s weapon pierced the warrior’s heart the Seal was released and both of them were wrapped in a blinding light. The warrior died but the Demon was forever sealed.

After the battle the leaders took the Seal containing the Demon and cast it out of the Neither Realm, some believe that the seal had been placed in the human world to remain hidden away forever…

“And because of that rumor that is why Seal Breakers were created and have been thriving ever since.” Said the store clerk as he closed an old tome he was reading and looked up at the only customers in his shop.

“Do you think you couldn’t have bored me any more Gual?” replied a young girl leaning over the counter looking uninterested at all. She had short black hair, with the exception of her bangs which were colored red, which closely matched her crimson brown eyes. Gual sighed.

“How can you not find the history of the Seal Breakers so dull, since you are one?” the girl was looking at some old tomes Gual had on the counter, and while she was flipping through one casually answered Gual’s question.

“It’s not that I find the Legend of Beginning dull, it’s just that I’ve heard it so many times before.” She said flipping through some more pages, “Besides why would the Neither Realm Leaders send the imprisoned Demon here? If he was unlocked he’d just destroy everything and then there’d be nothing left for the Neither Realm to claim besides rubble.” She pointed out.

“True but that’s what makes Legends so interesting, you don’t know wither its true or not.” Gual said putting the tome he had out away.

“I like legends that involve precious treasure better.” The girl replied picking up another old book and turning the pages.

“It seems you don’t change at all Reki.” Gual sighed “You have a one tracked mind, and treasure is the only thing on it.”

Reki didn’t look like she heard him. Even though she wouldn’t admit it she did think of more than just collecting treasure from behind the seals she broke.

Ever since she was little she had loved hearing all the legends surrounding the Seal Breakers, who where often seen as heroes. Seal Breakers were known for not only being able to crack even the most powerful seal but they could also put up seals if they had to. Though magic was common, not many people could do either, but being able to do both took up a lot of energy and stamina. Reki had proven that as a child she was capable of using magic that also fueled her desire to become a Seal Breaker.

“Oi! Gual have you found a way to break my seal yet?” asked a second voice from within the shop, but this one was more masculine and deep. Gual looked over to his left to where he had some jars up on the counter. Climbing over the top of one the jars was a small rodent looking animal. Gual blinked for a moment and tried hard not to laugh. Even though he knew this particular creature he couldn’t help but find his predicament quite hilarious.

“I’ve look in all my books and it seems that your seal is one of the newer ones and I haven’t gotten the shipment of the new regulation seal guides yet.” Gual said pressing his lips together to hide that he was smiling.

“When is the shipment supposed to come in?” the little creature asked.

“Well…seeing that you had me place the order only three days ago I’d say next month.” Gual replied.
