[Character Info Sheet]
Name: Sephadi Damitonsdaughter Gender: Female Age: 16 Affiliation: Church Social Class: Upper Middle
Description: 16 years old and blossoming like a young rose in bloom. Cream-and-roses complexion, porcelain fair skin, and eyes of sky blue hue. Those eyes are rimmed with silver, and her hair is pale blonde, spun into a gorgeous mass of ringlets. Her wings are pure white, like the feathers of ghost owls.
Personality: Sephadi is a very prim and proper young lass, highly religious, and very knowledgeable in religious texts and prayer. Brought up on stories of the infidel nomads and their diabolical ways, Sephadi hates those sub-human monsters, and idolises the Temple Knights who fight and destroy them. Never one to do anything wrong, she can be as sweet as sugar in spring or as prim and stuck-up as her station allows. For the most part, she is gentle-natured, and yet when she is incensed, she can wield her tongue as sharply as any needle point for embroidery. Indeed, she is equally skilled in both, and is well-known for her needlework. She's embroidered most of her father's garments, and he shows them off with pride.
Background: Lazy, languid heat settled over the rich golden fields and farmland the day the woman came down from the high passes. She wore a rough bulky woolen cloak and the hood was pulled up to hide her face. She would speak her business to no one, and it appeared that she travelled alone. What woman would do this, none knew, but she seemed to have weathered the dangerous roads and come through wilderness unharmed.
She went straight to the compounds held by the Temple Knights and sought audience with the preceptor there. What transpired in that conversation, none knew, save that on that very evening, an avarian woman became an honoured guest. Perhaps an amnesty had been asked for, perhaps even a protection, such that only the Church could give. However it may be, Arevala quickly settled in, to become not only guest, but a skilled healer and one who knew her herbs well.
Arevala was a beautiful woman, of exquisitely perfect features and almost impossible grace. Life had been breathed into frosted ice, the fine chiseled crystal of her profile so fragile it scarcely seemed human flesh. Of coolly elegant presence and stately bearing, with pale morning sunlight in her hair, she drew the eyes of many, and yet her personality was such that she warmed to few. Yet in the matter of months, it became evident that she was with child. And that child, she bore upon a blustery Winter's night, and the whispers were many: who was the father, and why was Arevala here?
She would speak to no one of this, and the girl-child she bore, she named, Sephadi. The child was clearly full avarian, like her mother, but few could determine what cause had brought them both here. There were many who speculated, but a firm stop was put to all the whispers when on a brisk Spring morning, the Temple Knight preceptor who had first given Arevala sanctuary, Sir Damiton Baudansson, took Arevala to wife. There were many who were convinced the avarian woman had bespelled the preceptor, but there was no proof, and the whispers eventually subsided.
Growing up, Sephadi was treated as Damiton's own child. Damiton adopted her legally as his own daughter, and even today, Sephadi considers him her own father. Because Damiton hails from a wealthy merchant family, Sephadi has been highly indulged. And she has also been very sheltered and protected, having little knowledge of the way the world really works outside.

[Sephadi's Family and Relationships]
Arevala (mother) - Sephadi tries her best to please her mother. She makes sure she dresses well and has the most exquisite manners. She knows her mother is determined that she will do something important with her life, but Sephadi does not know what this is, and the conflict makes her unhappy. Worse yet, there is something important Sephadi knows her mother is not telling her. Such as: why did Arevala leave her people? Who is Sephadi’s real father? Why is Arevala keeping such secrets from her? Sephadi knows better than to try and push the matter, for it only turns her mother to cold, harsh silences. But she longs to know, and sometimes dreams of finding out on her own.
Damiton (father) - Sephadi worships the ground her Temple Knight father walks upon. He's heroic and brave, everyone speaks well of him, and Sephadi does her best to make him proud. Even though she is only his adopted daughter, Sephadi in turn is the apple of Damiton's eye. Damiton Baudansson is also a preceptor of the Temple Knights. Broad-shouldered and strong, he was born a rich merchant's son, but is very much the soldier. He is one who has a firm code of honour and a life of chivalry to lead. In peace he is quick to laugh, and enjoys the simple pleasures of just being in alive. In war, he is quite the demon, and has quite the reputation for killing many amongst the nomads. It is he who has instilled racial prejudices into Sephadi, and upholds them himself - although it is quite interesting to see that his rooms are filled with nomadic-styled decor - which he genuinely appreciates.
Elav - Uncle Elav is a priest, and Sephadi has always addressed him 'uncle', although he is a friend of her father’s, not strictly a brother. Sephadi likes listening to his stories and cannot quite fathom why so many people seem scared of him. He’s always kind to her, after all, and spoils Sephadi because he has no children of his own. But the side that Sephadi doesn’t see to her Uncle Elav, is his grim determination when it comes to nomads and heretics. Elav is positively narrow-minded, and he is both implacable in cruel in his attempts to destroy them.
Olvan - Uncle Olvan is a real uncle. Well, a sort of uncle. He is Damiton's cousin. Where Uncle Elav is always kindly and has a smile for her, Sephadi has never seen Uncle Olvan's expression change from blank stone. He is always very strict and harsh, and never laughs. Always grim and unsmiling, Sephadi has decided it is best to avoid him.

[Damiton Baudansson - NPC] Sephadi's Legal Father
Age: 56 Gender: Male Race: Common Class: Upper Middle Position: A Preceptor of the Temple Knights
Description: Damiton Baudansson has been many things in his life, but most important of them all, he is a soldier. A Temple Knight, he is most often seen wearing armour or Church robes. Tall and broad of build, he still cuts a fine figure of a man. Short blonde hair is going grey at the temples, giving him a distinguished look. His eyes are an intense blue-grey, the colour of stormy skies. Many a young novice knight has quailed beneath that stare, just as many a nomad has been impaled by the utter vituperous hatred that can shine so bright. But Damiton Baudansson can be kindly too. Gruffly kind, and it is well-known that he is a man of honour. At least, a man of honour where Church-followers are concerned. An infidel can expect no mercy.
