The Plot Factory

Welcome to the plot factory. You can make your own storyline here...or at least the beginnings of. I'm going to be a little light on the intro, and it's not your fault. I deleted the last instance of this thread by accident. Yeah. Oh, and if you don't want to go through this process, just opt out please.

Stage 1
We start small. You can call it difficulty if you like, but the pace of your individual game is what I want to focus on first. Let me just note that this is NOT a permanent thing. The pace of your game will change as you group up with others or deviate from the beaten path OR get closer to game completion. But this will start you off on the foot you were meant to. Here are the paces available.

Child's Play
Guided
Balanced
Tricky
Ridiculous

Stage 2
Alright, you've chosen your pace. Time for a little bit of specifics. Now this is important, possibly the most crucial step of the entire creation process. Your play alignment. Do you want sneaking missions? Do you want to learn trades, socialize and subsist until you need to defend yourself? Are you a balls-out warrior? This step will decide it all.

Discovery
Balanced
Fighting
Stealth

Stage 3
Now that you've chosen a play alignment, we can move on to specifics. Once this stage is set in place, the more complicated final 2 stages will commence. This step of the the process is your path. Based on the path you chose, we can start to write the story skeleton for each individual.

Discovery
-Discover your past
-Discover who's behind it all
-Discover your purpose [ADVANCED]

Stealth
-Survival
-Expose and infiltrate
-Assassinate [ADVANCED]

Balanced
-Group up and survive
-Stay put and master yourself
-Confront the System [ADVANCED]

Fighting
-Disrupt the order
-Save a life
-Destroy the System [ADVANCED]

Progress:

Patrick Delgrade (MG)
Balanced->Fighting->Destroy the System->

{L1}Servus Haslam (Kunai)
Tricky->Balanced->Group up and Survive->

{L1}Charlie Norvell (Liro)
Balanced->Balanced (Stealth -1)->Group up and Survive

Tobias Londstrom (Robby)
Tricky->Balanced->Confront the System

Ainsley Smith (Concinnity)
Balanced->Discovery->Discover Who's Behind it All

Jack Gooding (Blinding Dark)
Guided->Stealth->

AnneMcCann (Selphie)
Guided->Balanced->Confront the System

Can you explain more to me about the choices "Confront the System" and "Group up and Survive"?

Group up and Survive focuses on creting a central location and base, and people who get pulled into this storyline will have a large party and have a comfortable yet slow pace, while still able to strike out and go on quests, etc.

Confront the System...well, I can't explain much but let's say it's a lot ballsier. Could be good, could be bad.

Hm.... I'll go with Group up and Survive. I like interacting.

Yis, woefully enough. Besides, I still need to come up with some scenarios for plot. I mean bear in mind, this is just the warm-up for the other three portions.

I'm sorry, but you chose Discovery. Wish to change that?

[stupidity]Waitwhat? I think - ohhhhhh, right. I get it now. You have to pick the goals from inside your second category.[/stupidity]

I guess I'm going for 'Discover whos behind the situation'. I have no doubt it will be quite badass, whatever it is :'D

Tricky, balanced, confront the system. I hope confronting the system is better than destroying it. Or rather, I hope that it'll be more along what I'm looking to get out of this...

Oh my...let me think...could you explain a bit what do you mean with 'mastering' oneself? I mean, is that a 'isolated from everyone else' option? I'm a bit unsure...

It doesn't have to be isolated the entire time, no, but you spend a lot of your play learning abilities and becoming more of a one-person wrecking ball than anything else.
