[-Route 25 has even more trainers for you to battle than Route 24! But there aren't any grass patches for you to catch or battle wild Pokemon here. The main attraction on this route is Da Man himself, Bill. That's right, the guy who brought you the Pokemon PC lives at the end of Route 25. His house is very quaint, complete with mailbox, picket fence, brick walkway, and two ponds right across the way-]

Yue and Maya finally reached Route 25 and were happy to find no patches of grass, which meant no wild Pokemon. But they also found a lot of trainers, looking for some strong trainers to battle.
Yue sighed as he approached the first trainer. He then sent out his Abra and the trainer sent out his Machop. Machop's fighting-type attacks did very little damage to Abra. Abra's weak move, Thief barely did anything as well, but Abra still one. The trainer then sent out a Geodude to finish Abra off, but once again, Abra's speed and Thief attack prevailed.

Now, it was Maya's turn. They progressed to the next trainer, who sent out an Onix. Maya sent out her Belle to battle once again. Onix rammed into Belle once before she used Sleep Powder and put the opposing Pokemon to sleep. Belle then shot out an array of seeds, which dealt super-effective damage to the rock-type Pokemon. Onix had fainted before she knew it. They were in a hurry, as they really wanted to see who was in the house. These were curious people here.

Yue hurried on to the next trainer as well. This time he sent out his Mankey and the opponent sent out a Rattata. Rattata got a Tackle attack in, but Mankey's Low Kick, Seismic Toss, and Karate Chop took care of the normal-type Pokemon very quickly. Next the trainer sent out a Spearow. This was not a good match up. But Mankey's Rock Tomb turned the table's there. Where Spearow had Peck, a flying-type, Mankey's rock-type move was also super-effective and it won Mankey the battle.
Yue was thankful that he'd taught Mankey that move now as they hurried on to the next trainer.

Maya's next trainer sent out a Slowpoke and Maya, once again sent out her Belle. Slowpoke's water-type moves did little damage, but it's Confusion attack did, however deal some damage. But with Belle poisoning the Pokemon with Acid and then pummeling it with a barrage of seeds from Bullet Seed, the water-type Pokemon didn't stand a chance.
They hurried on to the next trainer as they wondered how many trainers this Route had.

Next up, it was Yue's turn and he once again used his Abra. The opponent sent out a male Nidoran. Yue's Abra used Thief repeatedly to confuse the Pokemon, but Nidoran got some very good hits in with Tackle. Abra finally finished it off with Thief, though. But Yue didn't want to take any chances and called back his Abra, then sent out Zubat. The opponent then sent out his female Nidoran. This time, Yue had Zubat use Bite to make the opponent flinch and Wing Attack to do the major part of the damage. After a few attacks, Yue emerged victorious.

Maya's next opponent sent out a Geodude, so she sent out Belle, figuring this would be her last battle, as she'd been favoring the use of Belle lately and wanted to give her other Pokemon an opportunity as well. Belle's Sleep Powder x Bullet Seed combo took care of the first Geodude with ease. Then the trainer sent out another. This time it got in a good bit of good hits before the Bullet Seeds finished it off. And the trainer sent out yet another Geodude to be finished off by Belle's Bullet Seed. But the trainer's last Pokemon was a Machop. Who was a bit harder to beat, but after being poisoned by Belle's Acid attack, soon fainted.
Right as Maya was about to recall Belle back to her pokeball it started to glow. "Oh! My Belle's evolving!" she exclaimed excitedly as the opponent and Yue watched. "I hope she's even cuter than before!" she hoped. As it stopped glowing, it revealed a Gloom. The opponent snickered at the Pokemon. "Ha. There goes your cute Pokemon!" he yelled, knowing the evolution couldn't be reversed. Maya threw a rock at the trainer, scolding him. "Shush. You'll hurt her feelings." she said drawing the Gloom close to her. "I'll love you no matter what you look like," she added assuring her Pokemon. She called it back to it's pokeball as the both headed again towards the house at the end of Route 25.

It was Yue's turn again, as he sent out his Zubat. Zubat this time was up against a Rattata. Zubat made it flich with Bite before pummeling it with Wing Attack. After that, Rattata got a few Tackles in, but then Zubat pulled out a win with Leech Life. Next up, Zubat would be facing an Ekans. The Ekans hissed at Zubat and lept up, wrapping around it tightly. Zubat flapped its wings wilding dealing little damage to the Pokemon. Zubat then began to bite repeatedly until the snake Pokemon let go. Zubat then went in for one final Wing Attack. It landed and Ekans fell to the ground, defeated.
They were finally nearing the house. Yue figured one more battle each. At least, he could only see two more trainers.

Maya rushed forward happily as the opponent sent out an Ekans. Maya figured she'd give her Chuuni a chance to level up before starting again on her Muddle. Her Chuuni made quick work of the Ekans, literally. It's blinding speed with Double Team and Quick Attack made the battle a blur. Every now and then the Pikachu would shoot out a bolt of electricity, using Thundershock. The Ekans barely had a chance to get any hits in before it fainted. Next the trainer sent out a Sandshrew, which was a bad match-up for Pikachu. And unlike Yue's Mankey, Chuuni had no move that was super-effective against the Sandshrew. Maya would just have to rely on her Pokemon's speed. And that's just what got her through this battle, her Chuuni pulling and unexpected win with Quick Attack.
Just one more trainer, and they'd be at the house.

Yue walked towards the last trainer, with his Zubat already out. The trainer sent out an Oddish, which was a bad choice, as his Zubat knew Wing Attack now and it took out the enemy with extreme speed. The trainer sent out a second Oddish, who suffered the exact same fate as the first. And lastly the trainer sent out a Pidgey, who would be a bit harder to handle. Yue's Zubat went about it by using Bite and making the Pidgey flinch on occasion so some of it's attacks didn't hit. In the end, Zubat finished the Pidgey off with a powerful Wing Attack.
Yue and Maya yipped with excitement. The battles actually added anticipation to what was in store. They couldn't wait as they walked on to see who lived in the house at the end of Route 25.

Yue and Maya rushed to the door to knock at it, but before they could even knock the door flew open and a large cloud of smoke came out along with a coughing man.
"I just can't get this new PC to work." he said annoyed.
"Hm, what's the problem?" asked Yue curiously. He had dabbled with computers before and figured he might be able to help.
"Well . . . basically, instead of turning on, it just keeps emitting sparks and smoking a lot." he said with a small laugh at how bad it sounded. He invited them inside with a hand gesture as if he got visitors all the time.
"Well let me take a look . . . I'm not sure what this thing's supposed to do, but I'll see if anything's out of place." he said opening a side panel.
"Oh, thanks but I don't think anything's going to be wrong in there. I always have done the wiring right." he said confidently.
"Two of your wires got crossed." said Yue with a laugh as he pointed it out to the man.
"Blow me down! They sure did," he said uncrossing them. "They must've gotten crossed when I moved the unit. Jarred it a bit, I guess. Better secure them this time." he said fixing the wires into place and this time double checking to make sure it was perfect. He turned the PC on and it worked fine. "Well thanks . . . Oh!" he said, then remember that they hadn't properly been introduced. "Hi, I'm Bill. The creator of the Pokemon storage system." he said with his hand to shake Yue's hand.
"You're Bill?! THE Bill?!" he asked enthusiastically. "Professor Oak had spoken of you. You'd met a while back and he spoke very highly of you. Told me you'd now invented the PC that delivers our Pokemon safely to wherever we need. What were you just working on right now?" he said as he shook Bill's hand.
"Well, that was a trading system that I hope to be able to send Pokemon even further distances. From one region to another, even." he said to the boy. "I'm sorry, but who is the young man who helped me fix my machine? And who would the sweet little girl he's traveling with be?" he then asked.
"I'm Yue." said Yue with a nod.
"And I'm Maya." responded his sister.
"Hm . . . Maya and Yue . . . those names sound familiar. Hm." he said thinking about it for a bit. "Oh! Sorry, you each deserve a reward for helping me." he said as he reached into a bag and handed them each a TM and a slip of paper. "That's a ticket for the S.S. Anne and one of my favorite TMs. I have plenty of each, so take 'em." he said with a smile. "Oh, but I must be leaving. I have things to check on." he said vaguely as they all left the house and Bill left on his way to check on whatever.
"That sure was nice of him." said Maya.
"I just can't believe we actually met Bill." responded Yue. "I'll have to tell Professor sometime." he then added.
Yue sent out his Abra and they grabbed on to it as it used Teleport to bring them back to the last Pokemon Center they'd used.

Wynter approached the first trainer on Route 25, ready to battle. She figured she'd go first this time, even though she'd just battled. She was eager to raise all of her Pokémon to the same level. Even if they did seem to be a tad weaker than everyone else's Pokémon.
The trainer sent out a Machop and a Geodude, and Wynter sent out her two Nidoran. They were great for double battling. The male Nidoran started out by pummeling the Geodude with a barrage of super effective Double Kicks, and the female Nidoran started by spraying the Machop with an array of poisonous needles in an attempt to poison him with Poison Sting. He was poisoned. The Geodude responded by using Rock Throw. The rocks were hurled at Duke, and he broke through. The Machop then went to hand-to-foot combat with Duchess, him using his fighting moves and Duchess using her Double Kick. Eventually both of Wynter's Pokémon came out on top.
Wynter stood back and gasped as her Pokémon began glowing simultaneously. It seemed they were evolving. The soon began to stop and revealed that they had evolved into a Nidorino and a Nidorina. Wynter hugged her two newly-evolved Pokémon and recalled them back to their respective Pokéballs.
"Oh! Lily, I forgot, I was going to run over and check out the grassy patch on Route 24 before we went any further. You can either go on to your next battle, catch up with me, or just wait for me. Whichever's fine." Wynter said as as she went on her way back to Route 24 for a brief adventure.

Wynter returned from Route 25 to find as much time as she thought hadn't passed. She then met back up with Lily as she would prepare to battle the next trainer. Wynter's goal right now is to get all of her Pokémon to at least level 16. Then she'll start training them to level 23. She wasn't sure what her goal would be after that. She might have to do more or less training depending on the areas they went to. She was ecstatic that she'd found such an awesome group to travel with, and so soon to boot.

"Alright." Lily said. She was hoping to maybe catch a Pokemon there, but she shrugged saying she might just do it here. Wynter left and Lily encountered a trainer.
"Battle me! NOW!" The boy bumped into Lily and sent out his only Pokemon, Onix.
"Go Sapphire! Just use Double Kick since that is a half ground Pokemon, and it will do double damage." Lily said, sending out her Nidoran. It used Double Kick five times, and Onix only threw rocks once at the blue Pokemon.
The Onix was soon fainted thanks to Sapphire. Lily smiled as Wynter came back to her side. "The next trainer is yours, Wynter." She said, picking up her prize money.

Wynter panted as she approached her next trainer. Lily was apparently already through with her battle, which surprised Wynter at first. She was amazed at how quickly the battle was finished.
Wynter approached the next person on the route, and sent out her Ekans as she sent out her Rattata. Ekans quickly poisoned the small purple rodent with a powerful Poison Sting, followed by a strike, as it bit the Pokémon. Rattata then attempted to use strike, but Ekans dug it's way underground, waiting for the Pokémon's health to wear down, and then it struck upward, knocking Rattata into the air, sending him to the ground with a thud, fainted. The young trainer grumbled as she withdrew her Pokémon and sent out her second, Spearow. Ekan's Dig attack wouldn't do anything against this flying-Pokémon. Ekans started out the same way it did the last battle, by continually spraying the opponent until it was Poisoned. Then the battle progressed into who would come out? The snake . . . or the bird . . . Bite against Peck. Wynter worried for her Naga, as she knew how this battle usually ended, but eventually Naga's poison got to the Spearow, and it fainted. Wynter jumped for joy as she called back her Ekans and returned to Lily.
She retrieved her prize money and they would be on their way.

Lily approached the next trainer after replacing Sapphire with Peppers to walk at her side. She walked with small steps, not wanting to encounter the trainer in front of her. She wasn't watching where she was going and tripped. She looked back and found out it was a TM. Secret Power it was, one of her favorite TMs.
"Har har har!" A huge man shook with laughter at the rather clumsy trip. He took out a Pokeball from his shirt pocket and sent it out into the space between them."Nice fall. Okay, Slowpoke, when she sends out a Pokemon, you attack it with Water Gun." He said.
Lily laughed with confidence as she sent out her Pikachu. The man looked a bit stunned to see he was up against a electric-type Pokemon."Peppers, use Thundershock until that Slowpoke is finished with." The Slowpoke was no match for Peppers and fainted rather quickly.
"Awww..." The seemingly jolly man wasn't laughing anymore. He now look quite angry. He dropped some prize money, grumbled at Lily and walked off.

Wynter approached the next trainer, determined to reach her goal. She sent out her Ekans and the opponent sent out a male Nidoran. She could tell he was close to evolving. It looked brimming with energy.
"Alright, Naga. Let's trip him up with Dig. Keep him confused and use Bite whenever possible." called out Wynter as she commanded her Ekans.
The Ekans dug underground and confused the enemy by popping up underneath it, no matter where it went and ramming it. Eventually Ekans got to the point where it could pop up and bite the opponent from beneath it. That's a move that could be used in contests. And soon the Nidoran fainted. Picknicker Kelsey then sent out her female Nidoran, who was in the same condition as her male counterpart. The Ekans went forth and caused the Pokémon to also suffer the same fate as her male counterpart. The battle was over.
"Aw, what a drag." called out Kelsey as she picked up her Pokéballs and prepared to take care of her Pokémon.
"Well thanks for the battle. Sorry you didn't win, though." called back Wynter with a smile. As she went on she saw a TM on the ground. The picknicker said it was her's but Wynter could have it, along with some prize money. Wynter thanked the girl then used a Super Potion on Naga and went on to meet back up with Lily.

Lily nodded to Wynter and stepped forward when they approached the next trainer. It was a boy in a yellow jumpsuit with an orange hat turned backwards. It was a little strange. He sent out a Geodude.
Okay, Peppers won't do any damage, so I'll let Saphirre handle this battle. She threw out her Nidoran's Pokeball. "Use Double Kick." The Nidoran rushed forward and kicked the Geodude in the face. It hit Nidoran with a simple Tackle, then Sapphire kicked the Geodude again, causing it to faint. The boy released another Geodude. This one was taken out the same way as the other, the same with the following Geodude.
"I'll stump you with this one!" The boy cried out, releasing his last resort Pokemon. A Machop.
"Take this one out too! The same way." Lily called out. Machop was also Fighting-type, but the battle was over quickly, due to the Nidoran's superior strength. The boy dropped the prize money, nodded, and walked away.

(I'm gonna take out both trainer 7 and 9 with this one post. So you can battle trainer 8, then lead us to Bill's house. :3)
Wynter sent out her Beedrill, as she saw a group of small Pidgey. There were nine Pidgey in total and Beedrill took them all out using a powerful barrage of Poison Sting. It poisoned them so they fainted before they could land too much damage.
Afterwards, Wynter soon encountered two more trainers. "Hi. Who are you two? she asked politely.
"Um, I'm Flint, and this is my friend Haley. We hang out here a lot. Oh! You wanna battle us? he said, then changing his inflection and sending out a Rattata.
"Sure! Go, Buzz!" she said as she sent her freshly-trained Beedrill into a trainer battle for the first time in a while. Truth be told, she didn't like making him battle too much, as it wasn't in his nature. She'd probably switch him out soon.
Beedrill started with a barrage of Poison Sting then quickly finished the opponent off with a barrage of Fury Attacks. Flint then recalled his Pokémon then sent out an Ekans. You could hear Wynter gasp, as she really liked the Pokémon Ekans, and was glad that she had caught Naga earlier. She recalled her Beedrill and sent out her Ekans.
Naga suffered a Poison Sting, but then dug it's way underground using Dig, and busted up from beneath the opponent, knocking it into the air with great power, then bringing it back down with a thud.
"Alright, it's my turn now! exclaimed Haley as she sent out two Oddish.
Ekans started out by spraying them with Poison Sting, then after noticing they weren't too affected by it, dug his way underground, and knocked them both into the air with a swipe of his tail from below. It more knocked them over to the side and Ekans slithered forth with great speed and then leaped forth and used Bite on one of them. As the other landed, Naga used Glare to paralyze it and began to pummel them both with a continual spray of Poison Sting, only allowing one of the Oddish to use Absorb occasionally. Naga used Glare again to paralyze them both this time and used Bite repeatedly until they had fainted.
Haley let out a loud "Grr" of disappointment as she recalled her two Oddish and sent out a Pidgey. Wynter also recalled her Ekans and sent out Buzz again. He poisoned the Pidgey at once with a powerful Poison Sting, then after suffering from a powerful Tackle attack, finished it off with Fury Attack.
Wynter said her goodbyes and then re-joined Lily. They could now see a house not super far ahead. "Hey, Lily. Why don't we go see if we can rest there for a while after we're done training." she asked, although she was more so curious as to who lived there.

Lily stepped up to the next trainer very close to the quaint house on the end of the Route. Both girls had decided to stay and rest at that house for a bit after battling all the trainers.
"I'm blocking your way to that house. You know why? Bill lives there. You know, Da Man himself? He shooed me away from that house. If I can't go in, no one can!" She released out a Sandshrew to the space between them.
"Go Sapphire! Use Double-Kick!" The Nidoran was sent out and immediately ran foreward to kick the Sandshrew. The foe threw some sand into the Nidoran's face and Sapphire blindly kicked out and managed to hit the Sandshrew with a direct hit, sending it flying, then it fainted. The girl sent out an Ekans now, easily defeated by the same strategy as before.
"Hmph. I was trying to protect you from getting mad at Bill. I guess you are just going to have to admit defeat and go home. There is no way a cool guy like Bill will ever let two losers into his house. No way." She crossed her arms and threw some prize money on the ground.
"Whatever. We are going in there." Lily capsuled up her Nidoran and walked up to the house. She knocked on the door.
A tired man opened the door. "What is it you wan-- OH! A kid! Maybe you can help me fix something in my vents. Please come inside. He gestured them to walk inside. Lily took a peek at the girl who was blocking the way, and laughed. The girl's jaw was gaping open. Lily stuck out her tongue and waved.
Once inside Bill's house, he led Lily and Wynter to a square hole in the wall. "This is a vent. My new Pichu ran in there and won't come out. Do you think either one of you wants to crawl in there and get her out?"

Wynter watched the nearly comedic events occur between Lily and the young trainer as she walked over to the house to wait. Lily forcefully approached the house and knocked on the door. Soon an exasperated man answered tht door. "What is it you wan-- OH! A kid! Maybe you can help me fix something in my vents. Please come inside." he said somewhat angrily at first, but upon realizing it wasn't who he expected, his tone changed to be more happy and hopeful. Wynter laughed a bit as Lily laughed, then stuck her tongue out and waved at the young trainer mockingly.
Once inside Bill's house, he led Lily and Wynter to a square hole in the wall. "This is a vent. My new Pichu ran in there and won't come out. Do you think either one of you wants to crawl in there and get her out?"
"I could not fit in there, it'll have to be Lily. Or perhaps one of our Pokemon? One that could relate/communicate with the Pichu?" Wynter then suggested. She couldn't think of any of her Pokemon that would be too helpful. She sighed lightly and waited to hear if anyone else had an idea.
"I don't have any Pokémon myself, but that just might work, if you have one. If not, then would you mind crawling in there, Lily?" he asked nicely, worried about his Pichu and desperate to remove it from it's current predicament.

As Wynter revealed she could not fit in the vent, Lily began to think of the possibilities of how to get the Pichu out.
"I could not fit in there, it'll have to be Lily. Or perhaps one of our Pokemon? One that could relate/communicate with the Pichu?" Wynter suggested.
"I've already tried that, but this Pichu is afraid of any Pokemon bigger than itself." Bill explained. "Perhaps you could go in there?" He turned to Lily and raised his eyebrows.
"Oh... I wouldn't much like to go in there but it seems we don't have another choice." Lily said. She looked into the air vent. It was dark but she could see the dim glow of the Pichu's electricity pockets in its cheeks. Cold air rushed out, but Lily forced herself in. It was a tight squeeze, she had to admit, but it wasn't so bad if she stayed close on the bottom of the vent. Lily crawled army style in the vent, and soon she reached the frightened Pichu, pressed against the grate in which the air flowed through. "Hey little Pichu. Bill wants you." Lily tried to grab the Pichu but it bit her. "OW! BAD PICHU!" She flinched and hit her head on the top of the vent. She tried again, grabbing the Pichu with a bit more force than before, and quickly reversed her direction to exit the vent. Before it could shock her, Lily tossed the Pichu to Bill's open hands.
Bill caught the Pichu and sighed. "Phew. Thank you so much. How can I ever repay you? Oh, I know." He put the Pichu on a pillow nearby and walked to his desk, picked up two pieces of paper, and walked back. "These are SS Anne tickets. The boat is docked in the harbor nearby, and there is a battling contest of sorts over there. I hope you make good use of these." He handed each trainer a ticket.

Wynter wondered to herself if Roselia could've gotten the Pichu out. She shook her head and realized that Lily was already in the vent. She then heard some muffled noise coming from the vent preceded by a very loud bang. Lily soon emerged from the vent with a somewhat annoyed look on her face as she tossed the Pichu to Bill. Wynter laughed to herself a bit as she thought of what might've happened.
"Phew. Thank you so much. How can I ever repay you?" Bill said after catching the Pichu, then placing it down on a pillow. "Oh, I know." he then added as he finished standing up. He walked over to the desk and grabbed two pieces of paper. "These are SS Anne tickets. The boat is docked in the harbor nearby, and there is a battling contest of sorts over there. I hope you make good use of these." He handed each of the trainers a ticket.
"Oh, well thank you!" exclaimed Wynter, wondering if Yue and Maya had received a ticket as well. She realized that Bill had work to do so she figured she'd leave. It was getting dark anyways. "Well thank you, Bill. I'm glad we could help . . . well . . . it was Lily who did all the work, but I'm thankful none-the-less. I know you've got work to do, so we'll see ourselves out." she said, then waiting for Lily.
