Just wondering about this. Do you think that straw polls online (and those on Gaia specifically) have any bearing on reality? If so, how much?
I've seen several straw polls in the ED and ED-P recently, so it made me wonder. In the ones I've seen that are Republican-only, Ron Paul is usually the first or second most popular. It seems to be the same in mixed-party polls (like this one - thanks for the link, Uncle Jeff!).
What trends have you noticed in online polls?
