 Aug. 19, 2005 Well, here we go! The guild is under construction and finally finally finally here. It's been a bit of scraping and saving and spending of my real money... as well as generous donations from Ava River, MizzGwGirl, and dangerous jade. But here we go! As a fine first picture on the guild, here is RA, GOD OF GODS. *coughs* I mean, there's that stinkin' Goa'uld.

I've done nothing new! But I do want to make a request- please HOST YOUR OWN BANNER. It's fine for now... until you figure out how to do it on your own... but if/when more people join up, I don't want everyone to be flooding my poor photobucket account.

I have four fics for the Halloween contest... and the prizes will be announced on October 31st.
After the contest, I'll start breaking things down into subforums... so we'll have an off topic area among others that I'm considering.
It's also my 2nd Gaia birthday! So yay! I R Winnar.

I am Zombie Hathor! If anyone else has dressed their avatar as a Stargate character for Halloween, make a thread or something!
Also, the winners of the Halloween Fanfic Contest will be announced ON Halloween whenever I get home from school. Which is probably about 3:00pm EST. I will post the fics (with permission from the authors) at that time.
And lastly, there will be subforums coming out soon. The ones I have planned are:
1. Off Topic (for chatting about other things with Gaters)
2. Events (for such things as the Halloween Contest and future contests, balls, parties, drawings, etc)
- If you can think of others, please PM me or post in the Off Topic area about what you would like to see.

Okay, guys... bad news. I promised subforums, but we have to pay for them. crying
I still would like to do it, but I don't want anyone to feel that their gold has been wasted. So please PM me if you have something to say on the subject.

Okay, I've put in the new subforums.
1. Crew Area only
2. Fan Works, Off Topic-ish stuff, RPG (also stuff like - actors, sets, avatars who look like characters, people IRL who look like the actors, "i had a dream where i was teal'c..." etc)
3. Events
I'm going to move some of the threads, so if you can't find yours, please just look in the subforums! I won't move any into the crew area, so no worries about that.
Otherwise, enjoy your new arrangement! I'll get down to more organization soon.

Okay, here's the plan right now... we're going to have a Fall Ball on Thanksgiving weekend. We haven't chatted out all the plans yet, but those will come out soon. I'll make invitations and those will be posted here and hopefully sent out individually, too. 3nodding
-> I originally thought to call it a Thanksgiving ball, but then everyone isn't American. *laughs* So it's a Fall Ball.
