Well this is more for people who can stand subtitles.

It's a Thai movie called 13 beloved, an excellent thriller/horror movie or some might even say a dark comedy (along the same lines as Takashi Miike movies).
The movie is about a brokedown salesman with a life that is going downhill and is struggling with money. One day he gets this phone call and tells him that he is the winner to be in this Reality Show. The rules quite simple complete the 13 tasks to win 100 million dollars. Though of course the deeper he goes into the game the more morally wrong the game becomes.

There is a torrent out there with English subtitles to download the movie if anybody is interested and or want to watch the movie, It is a foreighn movie so i don't think it is technically infringing any American Copyright protection and is not released in America. So... well...

that is the only website i know that only torrents Asian movies that have been released on DVD (no cam copies are allowed) Though you do have to sign up for it, anyways you can either download the movie and or go seek it out yourself or buy it from some asian website.

It is one of my personal favorites the movie was trippy in my opinion the ending well just watch for yourself, it's quiite a different movie i haven't seen anything like it go check it out for yourself.

Wow, this sounds good. I love Asian movies, but I haven't seen anything in Thai before.

There's a Korean horror movie up on YouTube called "Old Boy." I heard it was really good and it's become like an international phenomenon, but I hated it. I stopped watching after about an hour. It wasn't scary, and it was actually pretty gross. Not gory, just had stuff like attempted rape. I didn't like it.

I think Japanese horror films are the best. Some Korean ones are pretty good, like "Tell Me Something," but the Japanese really nail it.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion!! If you think of any more, or find any Asian vampire movies. XD I can't find anything but a Korean comedy called "Vampire Cop Ricky."

Whoa. Who told you Old Boy was a horror flick? It always seemed to be more of a violent gangster drama thing from the clips and descriptions I've hear....

There's a Japanese zombie flick called "Junk" that I would also like to recommend. It's silly biggrin

Well, it doesn't START silly, but the camp is strong with this one as it goes on. I love it.

Seen Junk, it's a pretty awesome Zombie flick, it's simplicity at it's best.

Old Boy was one of those you have to see it at least once if you've got the stomach for it movies, but no, it's really not a horror movie.

I didn't think Oldboy was that bad in the way of gore. The story with it's crazy twists and turns was what made me a huge fan. If anyone liked Oldboy check out Chan-wook Park's other movie called Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. I think it is just as good, maybe even better than Oldboy.

Not gore, particularly, but just the subject matter was unsettling. Either way, personally, it's one of those movies that you need to watch once... But the only reason I'd see it a second time is to show it to someone else who hasn't seen it yet.
But this isn't a thread about Old Boy, so I'm done with that.
