So I have a helix piercing, I got it done about 2 years back. It healed fine, all was well. Then I was stupid and put a normal (16 gauge?) stud in it while I was working and it shrunk to that size. So I can't easily put the original jewelry back in.
I was wondering if because I have the 'hole' punched out at a 12 gauge or whatever, would I be able to shove my original jewelry back in, or would I need to repierce it?

You can stretch helix piercings to huge sizes (up to and exceeding an inch in diameter if you take your time). Massage it with some cocoa butter once a day for a while (at least a couple weeks). You should be able to stretch it, but remember to listen to your body. If it hurts, you're going too fast and should stop.
