Not sure if this thread can go here. If needed, go ahead and move it to the appropriate area. Or if it needs to be deleted.
I've had a few ideas on how I want to have a few banners be animated. Like having a drop of water drop from somewhere and have ripples...Or having ripples in general.
What is a good animation program to do that? I would prefer a free one. So if you know of a good one...And as so not to premote sharing links in the guild...If you know one please PM me.

Dunno of any free ones, you should probably try a google search or something like that.
Check and see if your version of Photoshop also came with Imageready?
I'm not too good with animations so I would have no idea as to whether or not Imageready is capable of making animations like that but it's worth a shot.

Thanks. ^-^ I'll have to do that. And nope didn't come with ImageReady. I think I have Version 7. Not sure if that would work with CS 3.

I guess it kind of depends on what you're doing? Iageready is a good animation program for little banners and other random images. However, if you're making a website or something, you'd be best to use Flash. neither of which are free though. But both very good.

Since I have that...I'll ask for animation turtorials in the right thread.

I really know nothing of animation either, but the only thing I know of is Flash.
My school teaches flash from basic animations to making fully working webpages, so that might be what you need...?

All_I_Ask_of_You Thanks. ^-^ I'll have to do that. And nope didn't come with ImageReady. I think I have Version 7. Not sure if that would work with CS 3. Version 7 should have come with ImageReady. Do you still have the disc? I would find your disc and install ImageReady. Once you get the hang of it- it's not a bad little animation program. Oh- I should probably tell you- if you use freeware or shareware brushes for Photoshop- they probably will not work in ImageReady. It's a problem I ran into.
