Got some nifty equipment?
Have you seen something you wanted to drool over?
Let's hear about it!
Personally, our sabre line got these new, shiny... *drool*... amazing sabres. They were $200, but you can tell. They're so balanced and I barely have to flick it... ahh... bliss.

Our school is lucky, we have a lot of parent support in our program, but even then it's hard to get guard money from the collective ensemble funds. stare

Eh.. We don't have the greatest of equipment.. All of the rifle line own their own rifles.. We have a few old sabres, and a couple of rifles for those who wanna try out and don't have any. We're getting new flags this year, though! Hopefully a few new poles as well.. We've got a couple of really warped ones..

Quote: We're getting new flags this year, though! Well I guess we're kinda lucky in that respect, we get at least two new pairs of flags every year because our band parents make them. Some of the ones from old years were rather... hideous. But they're improving a lot and they're always pretty nice and VERY durable. Yea triple stitch caseing...

we get new flags every year, or edited flags......but mostly brand spanking new ones. then they get put away and taken out like 2 years later or something......we use 6ft poles (which make extensions hell.....*wants 5.5ft poles back*) and swing flags of all different sizes.....
no rifles, no sabres.....one of my captains has used a sabre before but we'll never use them because my BD is a total pacifist....and we live in fairfax county which is like overrun by MS13 and he wants no mention of violence XD
during my senior captian's freshman year, they used batons........umm yeah

Everyone in my guard has to pay for their own weapons, but our director orders them for us.
Our weapons are by Ultimate, but I've always wanted to spin one of those sweet shiny silver sabres.... heart Alas... I'm not great a sabre.... Go rifles!
