((This is something I randomly though of the other day. The setting is rather apparent, and while this is mostly just me belching thoughts on the subject, anyone is welcome to join it or critique or what not. I just wanted something to do with Rensou. ))

It's not every day that you come back from the dead. In fact, in the life of an ordinary person, it never happens. You live your life, you die, Enma Daio says his shpeel about your life and you get sent on your way.

Unless, of course, you are the first Saiyajin to get granted access to heaven. Then they all freak out a little and you notice people always keeping an eye on you.

That was, in a short sense, Hourensou's last 20-some-odd years. And now he was back.

The ship he was currently in control of was quaint, simple. A cockpit, some engines, an area to sleep, computer equipment, an area for food storage. That was about it. Nothing flashy like one of Freeza's big ships...but he had to admit it wasn't as lame as the little balls that made up the normally used Saiyajin pods.

He had taken the events of the past couple days quite well. The shock of being resurrected had faded, and now he did the only thing he knew how to do: travel and explore. He had no idea what direction Vegeta-sei was in, the galaxies seemingly moved in the past two decades. So the small ship was shooting off in a random direction, flying him off into the black nowhere that was the far reaches of space.

Questions were dashing through his head at a million a second. Was anyone he knew still alive? Was Vegeta still king? Did Freeza still rule everything? What was the sate of the galaxy...the universe even? He really had no idea what the answer to any of these questions were, nor did he have any feasible means of finding these out.

For the past two days, he had flown without incidence. No planets, no other ships...just the vast blackness of space. All that changed, however, when a large planet was detected on the ship's sensors. It was huge, with blue seas and green grass covering it's surface. The prospect of finding a planet was exciting, but what really set him off was the power levels the ship was detecting present. They were HUGE. In fact, one was so large, so massive, it could only be one person...Freeza. Freeza was on the planet below.

He was torn about whether or not he should land. The idea of finally being able to get out of his ship and stretch was quite attractive, but the thought of running into Freeza? The Saiyajin had only met him once, and he had scared the s**t out of him. His power was so grande, so amazing...it was hard to even stand in the same room as him.

But in the afterlife, Rensou's power had grown. No longer was he the scared little boy that he was when he first met the tyrant. Now he was wise, learned, and powerful. And, well, there were more people than just Freeza on the planet. Something was going down. Freeza rarely made planetary visits unless somethign important. And if there was one thing Rensou was, it was vastly curious. They say curiosity killed the cat, but he had been there, done that, and truthfully, he wasn't afraid of it again.

Increasing the speed of the ship, a small clock popped up on the monitors, displaying the words "E.T.A" followed by a countdown timer, stating roughly one hour.

***

Down on Namek, things were starting to look up. Despite Freeza having possession of most of the dragonballs, and the arrival of the Ginyu force, Goku had finally arrived, just in time to save Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta from the wrath of Reacoom. After disposing of him with one hit, and taking on Butta and Jheese. After defeating them soundly, and Vegeta subsequently killing Butta and Reacoom, Goku sends the others away in order to do battle with the Ginyu Force's leader...Captain Ginyu.

Meanwhile, Freeza has collected all of the dragonballs, but spends some time attempting to use them, to no avail. Which, of course, pisses him off to no end.

***

With each passing minute of the hour, Rensou's anticipation only grows. The ship, being designed by beings of a substantially weaker power level than almost any other grace in the galaxy, had quite a few unique and special characteristics to it, including the ability to fully cloak itself. The weaklings that built it rather enjoyed being able to travel undetected, and since Freeza was on this planet, Rensou used this ability to his full advantage.

The surface zoomed in low below him, the landing gear sliding out as the ship softly landed onto a barren mesa. A battle had no doubt occured here at some point. During his approach, the affects that Freeza and her men had obviuosly had on the planet were vastly apparent. Trees were tossed around, the ground was scarred, and it was highly apparently that even a few mountains had been shattered due to the forces at work here. He almost considered turning around and leaving, but he had made it this far.

As he exited the ship, he attempted to remember what he had been taught in the afterlife. Keep your nerves calm, maintain an inner balance, and keep your power level from flaring too high. He didn't need any unneeded detection by Freeza and his crew, at least until he wanted to be known. Over on a nearby mesa, a solitary hut stood defiantly above everything else. He could sense wisdom inside, a power unlike anything else on the planet. It intrigued him, as it seemed to radiate good. Raising his ki just a bit, he took to the air and made his way over.

As he approached, a green figure exited the hut and stared at him through piercing eyes. The man was...Namekian? And so this must be....Planet Namek. Rensou had never been there, but had heard many stories about it throughout his life. Most thing were good, but the general power level of the planet was no where near most of the ones he had traveled to. But he could tell that the man who stood before him was a warrior, a fighter. His power was great, though no where near the level that Rensou had achieved, but for a Namekian he was quite impressive.

The Namek stood with his arms crossed over his chest, staring down the Saiyajin as he landed in front of him. "Hold...what is your business with the Guru? If you are a friend of Freeza then you are not welcome here..."

Crossing his own arms over his chest, the Saiyajin mirrored his glare. "I am here on business of my own...I have no association with that midget. What is going on here....I must know..."

"If you are not with Freeza...are you at least against him? Our times are troublesome and we have no use for those who will not help us..."

This intrigued Rensou even more, as he was anxious to find out what was going on. "I have no allegiance with Freeza...but I cannot say I am here to help you . Like I stated before, I have just recently arrived, and believe me when I say I have no idea what is going on. I have been...out of the loop of thing for quite some time. What is going on?"

"Freeza is on a quest for the Dragon Balls, wanting to wish for his own immortality...and we cannot allow that to happen."

It was quite a shock to his system to hear not only what Freeza's goal on this planet was, but the fact that it was apparently entirely possible for him to do such a thing. Not wanting to sound like an idiot, the Saiyajin doesn't bother asking what a "Dragon Ball" is, but merely continues on. "Then I can say with most assuredness that I do not want that to happen. Consider yourself having a new ally." Of course, Rensou wasn't 100% sure if he was going to be going up against the monster Freeza, but if he was going to have any sort of inside information going into this, the "Guru" inside seemed like a decent way to access it.

"Then...what business do you have with The Guru?"

"I need...information...." Rensou replied, uncrossing his arms to attempt to relax the Namekian before him. "I am Rensou...a Saiyajin..."

"Nail...and it's quite obvious what I am..." The guy was stone-cold serious, but with the way things were going on the planet Rensou couldn't blame him. "You can see the Guru, but know that I am keeping my eye on you...."

The two entered into the hut, the air a thick musky smell. The lights were low, and it took a minute or two for his eyes to adjust to the levels inside. On a throne in the middle of the room was a large Namek, his body barely breathing as he sat on the chair. Without even opening his eyes, the Guru seemed to stare deep into Rensou's soul. "Greetings, Saiyajin. I welcome you..." Rensou had to admit that he was shocked to be greated so accurately. There was something to this Guru fellow. "I can see you are shocked, Rensou. Don't be...there are many things that can be seen without the use of one's eyes."

"Ok, that's just freaky..." Rensou replied, taking a few steps back. He bumped right into nail, who grunted harshly, but stood his ground. Grimacing, Rensou crossed his arms and stepped back towards the elder Namek. "So...Guru. What is happening here?"

"Much has happened since you last stepped foot in the mortal world, Rensou. Many things you are not aware of. I know you are debating siding with Freeza in this battle..." Rensou tensed up a bit, as did Nail, but neither moved, instead allowing Guru to finish. "But there are some things you should know. I am sorry to say, but you are one of a few Saiyajins left in this world..."

"No way!" Rensou interjected, stepping towards the elder. "We had hundreds, thousands of us when I died. There is no way our numbers have dwindled...they should have only grown. Exponentially!"

"Aye, and they would have...if not for Freeza. Fearing their power, Freeza destroyed Vegeta-sei, and all the people on it..." Rensou was taken aback by this revelation. All of the Saiyajins on the planet...dead. Gone...most likely sent straight to hell unlike Rensou. Of course, after the initial shock, Rensou wasn't too upset, given his relationship with most others of his kind. He quickly regained his composure, and let the elder coitnue. "I can see this doesn't affect you as much as it did many of your kin...but know that as a Saiyajin, Freeza will fear your power as hell. I can sense how defiant you are, you dislike authority...the very thing Freeza wishes to be. The Ultimate authority. If you raise a hand against him...he will strike you down..."

"I'd like to see him try!" Rensou shouted defiantely. This definitely changed his outlook on things. If Freeza killed his people with no regard, then why would he treat him any differently. Going to him was...definitely out of the question.

"Despite your outward attitude, I can sense the good within you. When you died, you went to heaven...and that's not just because of the selfless acts that lead to your demise..." The flood of information coming from the Guru was shocking to Rensou. How could he know all of these things? "You have a yearning for right in your heart that was brought out by the ones you loved. It has changed you...for the better." Seriously freaked out, Rensou began to pace back and forth, staring at the large Namekian through the darkness. "Come closer, Rensou. I have a parting gift for you. There is much that needs to be done...I can see you don't want Freeza to succeed in his goals as much as any of us...and you have lots of talent to factor into the success equation. I ask nothing of you except to take my blessings as you decide what to do in this junction."

Hesitating for a second, Rensou glanced from the elder Namek over to Nail. The warrior merely nodded, gesturing for the Saiyajin to walk over. Sighing, he walked over, standing before him. The Namek's hand raised up, resting softly onto his head. "You have great power within you, power that you can give you the ability to save, or hurt, many people. I grant you access to this power...in hopes that you will choose wisely."

An aura appeared around the once fallen warrior, a rush of cool air surrounding him. An inner peace seemed to wash throughout his body, his muscles relaxing. The Guru hummed out a Namekian chant, foreign to Rensou's ears, before removing his hand. The weight of the world felt lighter. A spring was in his step. He wasn't sure what the old Namek had done to him, but he felt strangely....rejuvenated. "Go, Saiyajin. Discover what is going on for yourself...and make your choice. For Freeza draws near, and it would be best if you did not reveal yourself prematurely..."

Rensou had to agree, but wasn't sure what to do. If Freeza was on his way here, there was little doubt that some heads were going to roll. He could feel the power approaching that radiated from him...he was vastly more powerful than either of the Nameks. "Fear not for me, if it is my time, then it is my time. Worry about achieving your goals, whatever they may be. You have my blessings..."

He could only stare at the elder Namek. A warmth had entered his being, a brief peacefulness that seemed to radiate from the Guru. Rensou had never really had true parents as a child, merely "trainers" and "instructors". The smile that beamed from the elder was the closest thing he had ever received to some sort of parental love. Merely nodding his head, as if he were a child agreeing with a parent, Rensou ducked out of the hut and made his away in the opposite way of the elder.

***

While this change had occurred within Rensou, another had occurred in a more literal sense. Sensing that the fight with Goku was going south, Ginyu injured himself, then used his body swap technique to take over Goku's body. Given access to Goku's vast strength, though thankfully not all of it, he then left the now injured Goku alone as Ginyu and Jheese left to find Vegeta, Gohan, and Krillin.

Upon his arrival, Gohan and Krillin were at first unaware of the fact that this was not Goku himself, until Ginyu began his attack, taking out Krillin and beginning to beat on Gohan. Vegeta had left in an attempt to gather the last dragonball needed to get all seven together, and Jheese looked on as Ginyu manhandled the young Gohan. Krillin looked on, helpless.

***

As Rensou flew away from the approaching Freeza, he could feel a variety of ki levels raising and lowering in the distance. Some of them were faint, and only decreasing, while another was consistently strong. In fact, it was almost constantly flaring at it's maximum, as if the person in control of it had no idea how to lower or control his own power. And people like that were usually the type of people Freeza liked being around.

The powers were also familiar. Each race had a type of ki that was similar...so distinct that if you knew what to look for, you could with almost perfect certainty what species the flare belong to. And these two ki flares were distinctly Saiyajin...with a hint of something else in them. But Saiyajin none the less.

Now, with somewhere to go, Rensou poured on a little more power, speeding his way across the landscape to where this apparant struggle was occurring.

"HAhaha!" the psuedo-Goku yelled out, his boot firmly planted against the head of the young Saiyajin hybrid. The young boy had tears streaming from his eyes, painful shouts of "DADDY" emitting from his quickly fainting voice. Ginyu couldn't help but taunt the child, boasting how his own father was going to be the death of him.

As Rensou approached, he could see all of this taking place, and it deeply disgusted him. He had no idea what was going on...why this Saiyajin warrior was beat on a helpless child, but as the words "Daddy" floated into his ears, he lost all thoughts of staying back and gathering info.

The man floated up into the air, readying his fist to bring it down upon the child's back, breaking his spine and potentially ending his life. "How does it feel, knowing you were killed by your own father? While he idly stood by, as helpless as your crippled bald friend? HOW DOES IT FEEL?"

As the Saiyajin brought his hand down, he was surprised to find his momentum ceased, his hand still inches from the boy below. Tracing his arm, he saw a firm grip held tightly to his wrist. "Wha wha WHAT?" Before he had a chance to react, the wrist flicked, sending him into a spin to land harshly on the ground, a few feet away from the fallen boy.

"Are you ok, kid?" Rensou inquired, his eyes locked onto the form of the coughing Ginyu, who was recovering, a look of shock coating his face. "Get out of the way, whoever this guy is, he's going down..."

The boy struggled to get to his feet. "Please...that's my daddy....my daddy's body...." he whimpered out, barely able to raise his own voice, let alone talk. "Don't...don't hurt him..."

Crossing his arms over his chest, Rensou could only reply, "Well, whether or not I hurt him is entirely up to his own discretion, isn't it..."

"WHO the hell are YOU?" Ginyu demanded, pointing a finger towards the newly arrived Saiyajin.

"I could ask the same thing of you...like why you feel like a Saiyajin, but are tainted by something else. Who is in there? Whose body do you have?"

Laughing, Ginyu pirouetted around a few times, striking a rather limp-wristed pose. "Captain of the Ginyu force........Captain GINYU!!"

Raising an eyebrow, it was easy to see that Rensou was not impressed. "So other than a flaming homosexual, what the hell is a Captain Ginyu?"

"WHAT???" the body snatcher demanded, furious that he was not immediately recognized. "I am the leader of the most fearsome team in the universe! Freeza's personal body guards, the GINYU FORCE!"

"So...you named a team after yourself...do the rest of them enjoy male on male relations as much as you? Or is that your special power of the team?"

Krillin and Gohan could only stare in shock as this newcomer so calmly badmouthed the leader of the Ginyu Force. Who was he? Where did he come from?

"Just who the hell do you think you are?" Jheese demanded, charging up to get in Rensou's face. "You better show respect to my Captain, or we'll teach you a lesson you won't soon forget!"

"My name is Rensou...and if you don't get that finger out of my face I'll smack the taste out of your mouth..."

Jheese was taken aback by the brashness of the Saiyajin warrior. "Why you little..." he reared back to launch a punch, but as soon as it was on it's way, Rensou was already reacting. As the forward momentum of Jheese propelled him towards the area he used to be, Rensou slipped his grip onto the red man's coiled arm. With a turn of his hips, he used Jheese's own forward momentum against him, adding in his own in the form of the spin to send the foe hurtling through the air.

As Jheese soared, Vegeta, who was returning with the final Dragon Ball in hand, smirked as the approaching Ginyu Force member flew towards him. He had plans of his own for his opponent.

Back by Freeza's ship, Ginyu and Rensou once again faced off. Rensou had returned to his cross-armed stance, defiantly staring down the Captain. "Ooh, I'll teach you for that move, mister. Just who do you think you are?"

"Are you hard of hearing? Or just retarded?" Rensou retorted, a smirk appearing over his face.

"Baah! You insolent whelp! I thought all the Saiyajin were killed! How are you here before me?"

Raising a finger, Rensou shook it towards the Captain. "The keyword of that sentence there? Were...past tense. Once dead, but no longer, tis the story of my life. Or afterlife. However you want to look at it...."

"Bah, it doesn't matter. I shall soon return you to the realm of the dead!"

With that, Captain launched himself towards this new-found foe. His strikes and attacks were meeting, however, with thin air, as Rensou cleanly and adeptly dodged every single strike thrown at him. With each passing missed blow, the rage inside Ginyu rose, allowing the dodges to actually occur at a much easier rate.

As the two "battled" as it where, Goku, trapped in the inured Ginyu's body, had finally arrived. In his hand was a small bag, with two solitary Senzu beans inside. A normal man might have healed himself for one, but the selfless Saiyajin had saved them in the off chance that his best friend and his son may have needed them more, which they desperately did.

"Gohan....Krillin..." he gasped out, landing nearby as the two warriors seemingly ignored his presence. "Oh god, I hope I'm not too late..."

"Goku!" Krillin optimistically shouted, a brief smile flashing across his face. His boasts brought little Gohan's attention, as he looked in mixed fear and gratitude that his father, trapped within the demon-like body, came to rest nearby.

"Gohan, I'm glad you are alive. I brought you this..." Picking up the child's head, Goku placed the senzu inside his mouth, helping his jaw chew it up and swallow. As Gohan felt the life rush back into his body, Goku walked over to Krillin and did the same, sacrificing the last healing bean to his friend.

"Goku no, you need it more than me..." Krillin tried to protest, but to no avail. Soon, Gohan and Krillin stood next to the ailing Goku, watching the fight between the body thief, and the newcomer.

"Who is this guy?" Goku asked aloud, staring as the two fought.

Krillin was the first to respond. "I'm not sure. He just showed up out of nowhere, saving Gohan from harm. He must be strong, he tossed Jheese away like he was a ragdoll..."

"He's a Saiyajin...I know it. But I'm not sure how. They are all supposed to be dead!"

Rensou noted the newcomer with curiosity, all the while keeping his main concentration on the foe before him. He could see that Ginyu was getting rather worked up by his lack of ability to make contact, and it was frustrating him to no end. The madder he got, the more sloppy he was. Which only benefited Rensou in the end.

"Why....won't....you...stand..STILL!" Ginyu shouted, trying to strike him down with one final blow. Seeing this as his opportunity, Rensou through a cross block, using his forearms to halt Ginyu's attack. In one fluid motion, Rensou ducked underneath his arm, locking his wrists to twist Ginyu's arm back with him. Finally, he grabbed a hold of it tightly, yanking Ginyu's forearm and elbow behind his back, pushing harshly as he tied him up. With a fierce push, the two came crashing down to the ground, Rensou having stepped on top of him. "Rrrg, get off of me! I'll kill you!"

Twisting once more with vigor, Ginyu hollered out in pain. "You there...by the kid and the bald guy. From what I've heard from the whiney kid...I'm assuming this guy stole your body?"

Goku was shocked at how quickly the man had surmissed the situation. "Um...yes!"

"Well, change back..."

"I...I can't. That's all him, it wasn't me."

Sighing, he gave Ginyu's arm a good twist again. "Ok, so, you are going to change bodies with him, and then I'm going to kick your a** again, alright?"

Ginyu yelled out in rage, spinning his head around to lock eyes with Rensou. "How about, I TAKE YOUR BODY! YAAAA" The beam darted out from his head, but Rensou lept off of him, springing away from the body-changing attack.

As Ginyu made his way back to his feet, the lifeless body of Jheese dropped to the ground. Everyone's eyes turned to look up in the sky, where Vegeta, a Dragon Ball in hand, began to float down to the surface. "Well well well, what do we have here. Two brats, a thief, a weakling...and a Saiyajin. Another servant for when I gain immortality."

Raising an eyebrow at the newcomer, Rensou noted how familiar this boastful man was, but wasn't quite able to place him. "Who the bloody hell are you?"

"Who am I? You should know your own royalty, boy. I am the Prince of ALL Saiyajins...Vegeta!"

"VEGETA???? Oh wow. I remember when you were, like, THIS tall!" Rensou explained, his palm hovering over the ground about a two feet tall. "Granted, that was twenty years ago and you've only grown a foot and a half since then..."

The Prince growled at Rensou, but turned his attention to Ginyu. "Well well well, Captain Ginyu. I see you are the last remaining member of the Ginyu Force. Before I deal with that insolent whelp...."

"Why does everybody seem to want to call me that..."

"...over there...why don't I let you join your colleagues in the AFTER LIFE!"

Completely ignoring everyone else, Vegeta launched an attack on the weakened Captain Ginyu, using his newly increased power to easily overpower the fake Saiyajin. The battle was short, as soon Goku's body was beaten and bruised on the ground, no match for Vegeta's newfound strength.

"I will end you once and for all, scum!" he exclaimed, floating high in the air over Ginyu's fallen body. With a confidant grin on his face, he zoomed down towards the ground, ready to deal the killing blow.

As he prepared to strike, Rensou was about to react when he noticed that Ginyu was once more about to fire his body-switching attack. "Vegeta!" he attempted to scream out, trying to warn the braggart. However, it was to no avail, as the Prince had tuned everyone and everything else out in his quest for victory.

Goku, however, didn't remain so idle. He quickly dashed over, throwing Ginyu's original body in the way as the beam launched itself from the fallen Captain. The attack hit, and soon everyone had their original bodies back, despite the fact that Goku's was severely wounded.

Ginyu was clearly pissed, and he attempted to strike once more, this time aiming his strike at Rensou. Before he could react in time, the beam was launched. He had no worries, however. Gohan, returning the favor from before, in turn saved Rensou's well-being by tossing a Namekian frog in the path of the beam, causing the Captain to switch bodies with it.

As the scared Captain Frog hopped away, the frog, now in a body many times it's original size, panicked and made it's way over to the large body of water nearby, diving in.

"Well...that was much appreciated. Quick thinking kid!" Gohan, blushing, replied "It was nothing..." before running over to his father's fallen body.

Rensou began glaring daggers at Vegeta as Krillin joined his best friend's side, helping the Saiyajin to his feet. Vegeta looked bored as ever, not wanting to admit that he loathed not having the chance to take out his rival when he had the chance, but also fully embarrassed he had almost fallen into Ginyu's trap.

Gohan and Krillin were quick to come to Goku's aide, dashing to his side as he attempted to pick up his beaten and bruised body. Vegeta couldn't help but hide a laugh as he looked at his rival, having convinced himself that he was stronger than the Saiyajin despite the fact that he had bested him only because he wasn't the one in control of his own body. Rensou found the act despicable, though it wasn't outside of the Prince's attitude, from both what he could remember and the little bit he had experienced so far.

But even so, Vegeta realized the affect that Goku would have on the inevitable battle against Freeza. "Pick yourself up, Kakarotto. Freeza could return at any minute. Pop one of those damn beans into your mouth so we can get to work."

The always-present goofy grin appeared on the damaged Saiyajin's face as he struggled to get to his feet. His son and best friend were holding his body up, preventing him from falling flat onto his face. "Sorry, Vegeta...all out..."

The Prince buried his forehead into his hands. Rensou was surprised that it all fit, as massive as it was. He was also curious as to how he wasn't getting interrogated by the Prince. "Well this is just great. I blew up the healing machine they have, the only one left is some old outdated healing vat that might take ours to fix you up."

"Oh gee, if only you would have used your brain and thought ahead before you proceeded to destroy him..." Rensou sarcastically let out, rolling his eyes. Perhaps he didn't need to say it so cruelly, but he was being ignored, and that couldn't remain true.

Quickly, the piercing gaze of Vegeta fell upon him. "And just who do you think you are, you insolent whelp?"

"There goes that phrase again..." he moaned out, rolling his eyes. "Why does everyone insist on calling me that?" It was painfully obvious that Vegeta was annoyed, but before he could respond Rensou continued. "My name is Rensou...a Saiyajin just like you and this Kakarotto fellow."

"But how is that possible? Freeza killed off all of the Saiyajins! There have only been four alive for the past...the past thirty years! I know, I have traveled the galaxy in search of them." The prince was freaking out, which was a blessing because when he was freaked out, he rarely started blowing things, and people, up.

"Oh, that's a long and convoluted story that I'm sure nobody wants to hear...let's just leave it with 'I've been gone for a while, and I've recently come back'. Now...we need to get this guy some help..."

Eyes once again fell upon Goku, who laughed a few times, wincing as the movement gave him piercing pains. "I guess we have no choice...we have to put him inside the healing chamber and hope it doesn't take too long to heal him..."

The makeshift group of fighters helped their fallen comrade into the now barren interior of Freeza's ship. Making their way down the hall, all went relatively smooth until they entered the medical bay, when Goku, with priorities always seemingly jumbled, began his famous freak-out over the fact that there were needles in the same room as him. As Gohan dipped his head in embarrassment, Vegeta and Rensou grabbed a hold of the shaky Saiyajin and placed him inside the healing tank. "This should patch him up completely...but we have to hope it doesn't take too long."

Sneaking towards Gohan, Krillin began to whisper into his ear. "I think Vegeta has forgotten the fact that we now have all seven of the dragonballs. We have to get away so we can start wishing everyone back." While Vegeta was sufficient distance away from the two, Rensou happened to fall within hearing distance. He wasn't sure what a dragonball was, nor did he know how it was able to "wish people back". Was it something similar to how he was resurrected? He didn't recall seeing any dragons nearby, or any balls.

"We are...gonna go keep a look out for Freeza or anybody outside. Let us know if he gets any better, ok Vegeta?" Without waiting for a response, the two dashed off, heading to where the dragonballs were being held.

Rensou attempted to follow, but was stopped short by Vegeta. "Hold it right there. Who the hell are you?"

Turning to face his "prince", Rensou folded his arms over his chest, a very Saiyajin smirk spread across his face. "Oh? Me? I'm Rensou..."

"Oh, like that tells me anything. You can start off by explaining how the hell you are a Saiyajin, and why I've never detected you before..."

"That's a very simple story, really. For the past twenty-something years I've been dead. And now I'm not...so here I am." The prince just stared across the room at him, unsure whether or not to believe the man before him. "While you mull that over, I'm going to step outside. Try not to kill the poor guy while he's defenseless in there, eh? Wouldn't be too much of a victory...rather shallow if you ask me."

"I didn't plan on it, punk..." the Prince growled out as Rensou exited the room. He couldn't help but laugh as he made his way down the hall, following the energy of the two others. He soon found them outside, a series of seven golden orbs layed out on the ground, each with a dark orange star adorning it's face. After careful examination, he noted that each of them had an increasing number of stars, from one all the way to seven.

"Ok, Gohan. Are you ready to summon the dragon?" The young Saiyajin looked excited as Krillin began a strange dance and chant, attempting to bring out the Namekian dragon. After failing not once, but twice, to produce anything but stifled laughs from Rensou, Krillin looked defeated. "I guess we...we need a better password."

From behind a nearby rock, a small Namekian child emerged. "Gohan, Krillin!" he shouted, the two turning their heads to greet the newcommer.

"DENDE!" Gohan yelled out, running over to embrace his friend. "Can you help us summon the dragon?"

The young Namekian nodded. "Guru sent me to help you guys out...he is very sick and said that time is of the essence. We need to summon the dragon and use the wishes before Freeza gets here."

The three seemed very uneasy about the mentioning of Freeza. Rensou shared a similar dread, but still stayed out of sight. The small child walked up to the balls, raised his hands up, and with a voice unlike his normal one, he yelled out "Porunga!". The sky darkened as the seven balls began to glow. Rensou's eyes widened as powerful energy arced through the air. With a brilliant flash of light, a huge and mighty Dragon appeared hovering above the ground, floating just above where the seven balls were laying. "Whoa...."

"WHAT IS YOUR WISH?" The dragon bellowed, his voice deep and foreboding. So THAT is what they meant. Apparently, these dragonballs summoned some mystical wish-granting dragon.

Conversing amongst themselves, Rensou could only watch in amazement as they began to grant their wishes. Gohan seemed to be talking to himself a lot, which was some cause for concern for Rensou, but he ignored it as he continued to watch. The wishes were spoken in the Namekian language, so he had no idea what
they were, but soon they had burned through two of them, just in time for a very pissed off Vegeta to show up.

Obviously wanting to make a wish for himself, Vegeta threatened the Namekian child to do what he wished, but soon the Dragon began to fade from existence. The Namekian shouted "No!" as he ran towards the now gone dragon, falling to his knees. "Guru...no..."

These words brought a chill down Rensou's spine. Was the dragon somehow connected to the life force of Guru? The Namekian had been so kind to him...the warmth and love that he seemed to radiate from the kindly old man was captivating. If the dragon was disappearing...did that mean he was gone?

However, he had no time to dwell on the fate of the elder Namek...as from across the horizon the form of Freeza appeared, landing angrily before the quickly stunned group of fighters. "Well well well, what do we have here? A fallen prince, a pathetic Namekian, and two brats. What happened to the dragon? I was ready to wish for immortality. Did that old geezer bite the dust already?"

Dende was visibly angry at the words of the tyrant, but was too petrified to react or even move. Krillin and Gohan had inched closer to each other, while Vegeta quickly took the helm. "Well well well, look what the cat dragged in. Hello Freeza...have you come to meet your doom?"

The tyrannical Icejin looked amused by Vegeta's brashness. His arms crossed over his chest, Freeza's tail flicked wildly behind him. "Oh, Vegeta...it looks lke you've finally found your spine. I can sense you've bested my Ginyu force somehow, but do you really think you have the strength to possibly take on me?"

Growling madly, the Prince began to charge up his strength, glaring down at Freeza with a piercing stare of hatred. "Freeza, for too long you have pushed me around. Today, I push back!" The prince darted across the ground, blinking in and out of sight as he dashed towards Freeza. The tyrant looked amused at first, but was shocked at how quickly he began to attack.

From the first glance, it looked as if Vegeta had the upper hand in the exchange, until the realization dawned that he had yet to land a single blow. However, the same cocky smile was spread over his face. "Come on Freeza...show me your true power. Why don't you transform so I can wipe you out and embarrass you for the whole galaxy to see. You will fall at the hands of a true Super Saiyajin."

Obviously amused at his boast, Freeza leapt a few feet away from Vegeta, once more crossing his arms over his chest. "Oh? So you are a Super Saiyajin now?" He couldn't help but laugh, much to the displeasure of the Prince. "Well well well, if you really want me to transform, then you must definitely have a death wish...allow me to bid you all farewell, as you won't be surviving much longer!"

As arcs of energy shot up around the Icejin tyrant, the ground nearby began to rumble, clumps of rock and dirt raising up around him as his power began to rapidly increase. "Oh veggies...what have you done?" Rensou let out, his eyes widening as he felt the sheer magnitude of the power that flowed away from Freeza. When he said transform, he certainly wasn't kidding. The creature's arms and legs bulged, lengthening and rippling with newfound muscle. The small horns atop his head thickened and shot out, pointing straight up the top of his head like a bull. Once midget-like in height, the tyrant shot up to overshadow all of the collected fighters around.

Vegeta, who until now had been a braggart and boastful, was frozen with fear. His eyes were open in a daze as he watched Freeza's transformation. Seemingly eating his words, Rensou could see his legs visibly wobbling. Krillin and Gohan had similar looks on their face. They had jumped away from the previous fight between Vegeta and Freeza, and were floating in the air, staring down at the tyrant. Dende was busy hiding behind a nearby rock, wanting to have nothing to do with what was going on.

As the transformation finished, Freeza emitted a now deeply voiced laugh, eyes narrowing on the small, bald monk. Faster than anyone expected, he shot up into the air and quickly impaled the man on his horn. Vegeta didn't even flinch, his eyes continuing to stare forward to where Freeza once stood. Gohan was much more animated, shouting out his friend's name as he became skewered steak. The tyrant continued to laugh, shaking the small man around on his horn, the monk screaming out in pain.

Rensou growled as he watched. He wanted to get out there, teach that Freeza punk a lesson...but he was sure that nobody had realized he was here. Perhaps there would be a better time to strike...a time when he could take him out quickly.

With a flick of his head, Freeza flung Krillin's almost lifeless body down onto the ground, his body bouncing and ricocheting across the landscape to, quite conveniently, land near Dende. This action was the last straw to Gohan, he screamed out in rage. Rensou, and Freeza himself, was quite surprised at the sudden increase in the Saiyajin boy's power, even more so when he shot through the air and unleashed a fury of blows onto the Icejin's body. His surprised look betrayed the pain shooting through his body, and when Gohan flung him onto the ground, Rensou could see the grimace of pain coat his face.

The boy was doing so well, he hated to see him turn to such a reckless attack to unleash next. Letting off a fury of ki blasts, the boy attempted to pelt the tyrant with ki, which inevitably did nothing more than tire out the Saiyajin boy, and take away his element of surprise. As the dust settled, Freeza was back on his feet, staring down the now shocked child.

Leaping into the air, Freeza unleashed his own flurry of attacks, using his hands, feet, and tail to whip the child into submission. Clenching his hand into a fist, Rensou bided his time, waiting for the right moment to strike. Soon, the boy was lying on the ground, struggling to even just take a breath. As Freeza raised a hand to strike the final blow, a disk of energy shot through the air, slicing through the Icejin's tail.

Rather than giving him much pain, it merely annoyed him. Nearby, Krillin stood, cheering that he had made a direct hit. Both Rensou and Freeza were shocked to see him alive, but with Dende nearby, Rensou assumed that the Namekian had something to do with his recovery. But, this was the type of opening Rensou was looking for. As Freeza boasted that he was going to kill the earthling for sure this time, Krillin panicked. As Freeza darted through the air, he was shocked to find an elbow planted directly into his cheek.

Crashing into the ground, Krillin looked to see if maybe Vegeta had finally moved. "RENSOU!" he yelled out, thankful that the unknown Saiyajin had finally entered the fight.

"Thanks for the distraction...it was just the opening I needed..."

"Who...who the hell are you?" Freeza shouted out, picking himself up off the ground to stare at the new arrival.

Smirking, Rensou once again crossed his arms over his chest. "I've been asked that a lot today. I'm getting tired of explaining myself..."

The tyrant's eyes narrowed in on the swaying tail behind the man, a twinge of fear creeping into him. "You are...a Saiyajin? But how is this possible?"

"Enough talking...it's time to finish you off..." For one of the few times in his life, Rensou decided to take the offensive. He wasn't sure how, but he could feel Freeza's power, and he knew his own surpassed it. Seemingly disappearing from sight, Rensou reappeared next to the surprised Icejin. His foot shot out, planting itself in Freeza's side, the force of the blow knocking him away. Not wanting to lose his advantage, Rensou continued his attack, blinking in and out of sight around Freeza's body as he landed blow after blow, only expanding energy in order to ensure that his blow would land.

As he continued his assault, Dende ran out from hiding and began to heal Gohan, quickly allowing him to regain his strength as Krillin joined the two, keeping guard in case Freeza tried to turn his attention to them. However, the tyrant was far to busy attempting to counter the attacks of the Saiyajin. Each was met with a quickly calculated maneuver, which allowed Rensou to continue to not only dodge the Icejin's attacks, but sneak in a hit of his own. This continued for several minutes, before a hard kick from Rensou sent Freeza crashing into the ground.

A smirk still spread across his face, Rensou touched down nearby. He was mildly surprised to see Freeza pick himself up off the ground, but he didn't expect the Icejin to go down so easily. He was going to have to take a few ki attacks out of his bag of tricks to finish him off. But Freeza had other plans. Growling, a finger extended, with an intense beam of energy shooting out. However, Rensou wasn't the target, but the Saiyajin child, who had just recovered from the beating at the hands of Freeza, was the intended target. Rensou was amazed at the sheer intensity that was in that beam. So quickly, Freeza was able to compile such an amazing amount of energy into such a tight beam.

Rensou darted through the air, intercepting the beam and reaching out with his hand to prevent it from striking the kid. He howled out in pain as scorch marks coated his open palm, wincing as sharp pain rang out through his body. How was this ki attack so strong, when he had just manhandled the Icejin? He had no time to debate this internally, as Freeza unleashed another beam, this time headed for Dende. Intercepting again, this time he only had the time to block with his chest, the beam slamming into him, bringing tears to his eyes. Another rang out, followed by more and more. He was able to keep up with the beams, but they were taking their toll.

The three he was defended weren't able to move, as all of these attacks were taking place within the span of only a few seconds. Battered and bloody, Rensou wasn't able to bring up his hands to run damage control as a final, powerful beam arced into his chest. Blood shot out of his mouth as he fell to the ground, clutching the smoldering wound.

"Mister..." Gohan let out, looking down at the man who had just taken every blow that was intended for him. A fire erupted in his eyes as the little Saiyajin stared down Freeza. Vegeta, whose eyes had been quick enough to witness the entire attack, finally snapped out of his trance, ready to join the fight.

As the three rose to face down the tyrant, a blackness spread over Rensou's sight as he slipped into unconsciousness.

***

While Rensou was knocked out, and the three others looked to take on Freeza, Dende attempted to heal the wounded Saiyajin. However, as he tried to use his healing powers, he was shocked to learn that he couldn't even feel the man in front of him, his healing powers not working at all.

The fruits of the two wishes that succeeded were finally felt as Pikkoro, who had fused with the wounded Namekian Nail, arrived to battle Freeza. He quickly got the upper hand of the tyrant, but soon Freeza transformed into his next form, making short work of the Namekian. Enraged once more, Gohan unleashed a massive Masenko, which Freeza was barely able to turn back. He soon began his transformation into his next form.

Dende, meanwhile, healed a wounded Vegeta, who had Krillin attack him in order to take advantage of the standard Saiyajin near-death power increase.

***

Despite being unconscious, Rensou felt the distinct sound of chanting. His body tingled, and he had a strange out of body experience. He could see, somehow from above, Dende's failed attempt at healing him. He could feel, despite the failed attempt, the wounds on his body closing, the pain draining from his face. And as the chants got lower, he could feel himself being drawn back into his body.

Opening his eyes, he could only wonder what on earth had just happened. He was sure he had died. It could still remember the blast that pierced the skin of his body. Raising his hand to trace the edges of the wound, he found it completely gone, which boggled his mind.

However, he had little time to consider the ramifications of this process. He looked over to witness Freeza begin his transformation from his third form to his final, ultimate body. He couldn't allow this to happen. The others were busy attempting to heal themselves and formulate a plan, but Rensou knew there was no time.

Arcing through the air, he shot by the others and planted a knee directly into the gut of the still powering up Freeza. A shocked gasp rang out through nearly everyone as she was knocked back. "WHAT???" he screamed out, his transformation ceasing. "But...but I killed you!"

Cracking his fingers, Rensou dropped into a battle stance. "I guess you through wrong. And if you think you are going to be able to transform while I am still standing, you are dead wrong."

Growling in anger, Freeza shot towards him, his large head leading the charge. As he swung his arm out to strike down the Saiyajin, Rensou spun his body to the side, side-stepping the strike. However, he wasn't through yet. Grabbing the tyrant's arm, he slide it between his arm and body and lifted his legs. Gravity kicked into play, bringing the two down onto the ground, Freeza's arm pinned tightly between Rensou's arm and body. Grabbing a hold of his wrist, he pushed down on his hand, sending intense pain shooting through the air, bringing the Icejin into a tightly held arm-bar submission. He knew that the power he faced was immense, and keeping the tyrant pinned down, or at least wearing him down with as little strenuous acts as possible, would be key to winning the fight in the long run.

Of course, an arm bar is much more effective against a foe that doesn't have a tail. Freeza undoubtedly assumed that Rensou was just another stupid Saiyajin, and almost laughed as he brought his tail around to thrash his opponent. However, Rensou was well aware of this, and in a fluid motion, he released his hold and rolled away, watching as Freeza comically brought his own tail crashing onto his head. Rensou couldn't help but laugh as the Icejin knocked himself silly, struggling to rise to his feet. "You...you b*****d! How dare you mock me!"

"But you make it so easy..."

Looking back, Rensou should have known better than to mock the Icejin like he was...as anger was the very thing that tended to bring about his transformations. But he had fallen into the standard battle tactic that he always employed, mocking his opponent so that they got too mad to think properly. Of course, it occasionally backfired, and this time was unfortunately one of them. The power that erupted from the Icejin shocked him, and he had to take a few steps back in order to prevent himself from getting caught in the resulting release of power. "Oh great job, Rensou...way to accelerate the very thing you were trying to prevent..."

By this time, Vegeta, the Namekian Pikkoro, Gohan, and Krillin had joined him on the battlefield, staring on in shock as Freeza's transformation continued. "Way to go, low class scum. Looks like you just couldn't cut it when it came to handling Freeza..."

"Oh shut your face, Veggies. You've done maybe two minutes of fighting with Freeza total. So I don't think you have any room to talk..."

"You insolent fool. With my new power increase, you are looking at a full-fledged Super Saiyajin!" Rensou stared in amazement at his former prince. Could he really have achieved the power of a Super Saiyajin? He could definitely tell that Vegeta had gotten stronger...but there was no way he was THAT strong unless he was severely hiding his power. Hell, the kid felt stornger than Vegeta was...at least he had every time he lost his cool. There was no way Vegeta was a super Saiyajin.

However, they didn't have much time to debate, as Freeza's transformation had ended. Instead of growing in size, or deforming his shape like the last two transformations, this one was radically different. Instead, his body had shrunk, losing most of the random appendages that had sprouted out of his body. It was sleek, smooth...almost robotic in nature. It was smooth, shiny, metallic like. A stark contrast to the previous three forms.

Freeza wasted little time in making an attack. Having recognized that it was Dende who apparently kept bringing back his damaged foes, he pointed another one of her patented beams at the young Namekian. Knowing that the healing powers of the child could very well turn the tide of the battle, Rensou once more through himself in the way of the beam. This beam, however, was much stronger than any of the other ones he had fired before, and it shot through through his body. The reduction in speed, however, allowed Dende to get out of the way. Once more, Rensou felt the world slipping away from him.

***

As Rensou fell once again, Vegeta stepped forward to take on Freeza, finally bringing himself into the fight. Despite his boasts of being a Super Saiyajin, the newly transformed Freeza utterly destroyed the prideful Saiyajin. But before the killing blow could be dealt, Goku, fully healed from the chamber, arrived. He started off with an advantage over the monster Freeza, but the power difference was just too much. Even the Kaio-ken, the ability of Goku to triple, even quadruple, his power, didn't assist in taking down the monster.

***

Just like before, the chants once again flooded his ears. Rensou seemed to watch from above as Freeza finally dealt with the boastful prince, taking him down once and for all. He watched as Goku gained the upper hand, but just as quickly lost it as Freeza began to unleash his full power. He wanted to get down there and join the fight, but he couldn't force himself back into his body.

Once more staring down, he saw the hole in his chest begin to close up. Just like before, his wounds began to heal as the chants got louder and louder. As as they culminated into a loudness that he could almost not take...his eyes opened once more. His body felt clean, pure...healed once again. "Time to go take out Freeza..."

As Goku once again attempted to use his Kaioken technique to gain an advantage against Freeza, Rensou once more joined the fray. As Freeza confidently moved his arm up to block a kick to the head, his eyes buldged as a fist planted itself in his side.

Freeza's surprised look was mirrored by the Saiyajin warrior, whose attack was not the one that had taken the Icejin by surprise. As Freeza righted himself in mid-air, his icy glare falling upon his attacker. Once again getting surprised, he explained, for what must have been the third time in the past few hours, "What? Aren't you supposed to be dead?"

Grinning, Rensou floated down to stand next to the shocked Goku. "The rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated..." he confidently replied, his arms crossing over his chest. "So...Goku is it? Why don't we take out this b*****d once and for all?"

Bursting into laughter, the tyrant floated down to face the two Saiyajin warriors. "Do you really think that the mere addition of another Monkey will assist in defeating the undefeatable?"

Shooting glances at each other, the two warriors of past and present merely nodded in agreement. As if having trained together for years, they silently fell into quite similar fighting stances. Presenting such a united front against the tyrant before them was obviously a supreme annoying to the Icejin. Yelling out in anger, he was surprised to see his first volley easily dodged. Having to separate his attacks into multiple fronts, as well as having to defend against seemingly coordinated attacks, the Icejin was at a severe disadvantage. When one was attacked low, the other struck from high. When one was defending, the other was striking. The two fighters were able to read each others actions, instantly responding to do what he could.

The actions were obviously ticking off the Icejin, the grimace on his face spreading with each failed strike. "Why...won't...you monkeys....stay still?" Tired that the physical attacks were failing his cause, he unleashed a roar of anger, waves of ki erupting from his hands at the two Saiyajins.

Both Goku and Rensou were barely able to get out of the way, the searing energy almost striking them down. They backed up a few steps, staring down silently as the tyrant ranted and raved. He was livid, and the power radiating off of him was immense. By the sheer power throwing off of him, it was far too obvious he had just been toying with them earlier. It wasn't too shocking, really, as he had been spending the entirety of the fight doing the very same thing, raising his power high enough to beat whoever he was fighting, and then raising it once more when a new competitor entered the game.

Realizing he was losing his cool, Freeza closed his eyes and lowered himself to the ground, attempting to calm himself down. "Well well well, looks like you monkeys managed to make me almost lost control. That would have caused me to kill you far too quickly. Where would the fun be in that?

"But now that I am in control, I have to admit you two achieved something far few do. You made me worried for a second there. So, in honor of your achievement, you two get to come up with whatever little scheme you want to try to take me down. That way, when I defeat and kill you, the death with be welcomed in comparison to the embarrassment..." Not surprisingly, the two fighters didn't seem to rush into planning, eyeing the Icejin warily. "Oh, no, you can trust me. If I wanted to kill you, I would do it right now..."

Turning to Goku, Rensou admitted, "He does have a point...he's just been toying with us thus far..."

Nodding, Goku replied, "I have a technique...that will undoubtedly take this freak down. But it will take a while to prepare..."

"Well, he seems to want to give us time. And if he tries to resign on our deal, I'll distract him as long as I can..."

Once more nodding in agreement, Goku spreads legs shoulder wide, his arms rising into the air. Rensou had to stifle the desire to make a comment on the silliness of the stance. However, he quickly shut his mouth when he felt the massive amount of energy that began to draw into his body.

Freeza, on the other hand, showed none of these inhibitions. "Oooh, are we calling for a 'raise the roof'? Is a party about to erupt and we are all invited? HA HA HA" he taunted, barely able to contain his own laughs.

This went on for quite some time, Freeza taunting the two Saiyajins as Goku summoned energies into himself. Rensou could feel it collecting over his head, and he stood at the ready. His eyes were focused on the Icejin before him, ready to react at a moments notice if the tyrant intended to go back on their agreement, which he fully expected him to do.

"You getting close to finishing there, buddy?" Rensou inquired, surprised already at the amount of energy the other Saiyajin had already collected. Freeza seemed oblivious to the fact, until he looked upwards to see a massive ball of ki.

"WHAT???"

"Al...Almost. Need more power..." he stammered out, hardly able to form together a sentence under the strain of keeping the ball together. However, Freeza had no intention of allowing this to happen.

Darting through the air, he attempted to strike down the charging Saiyajin. His momentum crashed into Rensou, however, as the once-dead warrior met him mid-attack. He was vastly over-powered, but he used his years upon years of fighting those stronger than him to his advantage.

As the monster turned to attack, Rensou used his arms, body, and speed to take the tyrant's attacks and roll them away, shouldering and twisting his body as the strikes seemed to strike, only to slide down or bounce off harmlessly.

However, he couldn't stop Freeza forever. Strikes began to land, bruises quickly forming over his body. A snap here, a pop there, and the battle damage quickly showed on his form. His counters began to get less effective, but he held out none the less, holding in the pain to continue to keep Freeza distracted.

"RENSOU! MOVE!" he heard, Freeza turning his attention to Goku. Lifting his knee to break Freeza's hold on his body, Rensou darted away as the Icejin turned his attention upwards. The massive ball of energy that had formed in the sky above began its decent down upon the tyrant.

"WHAT???" he screamed out, the Icejin facing the massive ball of ki. Its speed was amazing, as Goku's Genki Dama crashed down onto the tyrant. Howling out in pain, Freeza grasped the ball, trying to control it with his own might. The speed quickly slowed; nonetheless the ball continued downward, forcing the mighty Freeza back. He strained, pushing with all his might against the power of the Genki Dama.

The ball pushed the Icejin into the water, the flowing liquid spreading as the ball seared away, vaporizing the cool Namekian Sea. Rensou, catching his breath, on the sidelines, watched in amazement as the tyrant was pushed down, until he was out of sight below the ball. "Damn, Goku. What the hell is that?"

"That, Rensou, is my Genki Dama. And it is the end of Freeza..."

Rensou could only silently agree. He could only imagine the events going down underneath the Genki Dama, hoping that the attack was enough to take him out. Before his eyes, a blinding light shot out, filling the Namekian landscape with exploding energy as the Genki Dama finally erupted. Attempting to shield his eyes from the light, a rush of water slammed into him, his lungs quickly filling with water. He barely had enough time to let out a scream as he felt the pain erupt through his body.

After battling Freeza, after being seemingly killed countless times by the tyrant...was he going to be taken out by...water? The answer came as the darkness flooded his eyes once again.
PostPosted: Fri Apr 04, 2008 2:12 am

There was no out of body experience, no witnessing an epic battle from seemingly out of reality, there was only darkness. Rensou felt himself floating in a void of nothingness, completely devoid of all things sane. No comforting noises, no smells, no sights. He couldn't even see his own body, or if he even had one. The silence wasn't even comfortable. It wasn't so much a silence as it was a completely lack of anything that could possibly make noise.

A pain rang through his chest. Attempting to clutch it, he felt his hands moving slowly, as if moving through a viscous liquid. His lungs felt on fire, squeezed from both the inside and out. Mind a blur, he was helpless to do anything, not that he knew what was truly wrong, or what would even remedy the situation.

Flashes if memory rushed through his mind, recalling the events that had occured. The fight with Freeza, the other Saiyajin warrior...Goku was it? Or was it Karroroto? Carrot? His mind still reeling, he remembered the last events that he could recall...the giant wave of water rushing towards him.

Water...a liquid... Attempting to move his hand once more, he noted the give and take of his surroundings. Very water-like. The pounding pain in his chest, the feeling of floating. Of course...he was drowning.

But if he was drowning...why was he still able to think. Able to move and reason like he was. Wouldn't he be much more...dead? Of course, he had thought himself dead quite a few times already that very day. What would make this any different.

Judging by the way his body felt, he began to kick his feet madly. The floating feeling changed, much as he thought it would, to a more general "swimming" feeling. Soon, his head was bursting through the air.

Gasping for air, he realized his lungs still had quite a copious amount of water within them. This translated into a coughing fit of epic proportions, with Rensou coughing and vomiting up loads of Namekian Sea Water (available at your favorite Retailer). Most upsetting was the smaller fish that seemed to appear on the ground during his upchuck fests, and Rensou could only hope they were some strange strand of land-fish, and not something that had once dwelled inside his lungs.

When he finally regained enough control over himself to survey his surroundings, he realized just how war-torn the planet was. It seemed as if the battle was still raging, but as far as Rensou could tell, it was up for grabs who had the upper hand. All he knew was, if Freeza survived that technique of the Saiyajins, they were in deep trouble.

A streak of energy darted overhead, and Rensou looked up just in time to see Gohan, the young Saiyajin boy, being chased by the Icejin tyrant. The boy looked scared, yet determined. With Freeza closing in to him, he knew he had to do something, and quick.

Freeza reared back his hand, ready to strike down the young boy. His motions were interrupted, when Rensou's elbow planted itself in the solar plexus of the Icejin. Not really hurt, but mostly surprised, the Icejin floated a few feet away to face his new foe. Shocked to find it was once again Rensou, he bellowed out "Do you just not die?"

"That's an excellent question..." Rensou replied, sliding into a fighting stance to face off against Freeza. He didn't answer, however, as it wasn't his place to attempt to explain the impossible. And, of course, he just flat-out didn't know.

"If a Super Saiyajin couldn't defeat me, what makes you think a twerp half-breed and a pathetic fool who is too stupid to stay dead have a chance to do anything?"

"Super Saiyajin? What the hell are you babbling about?"

"He means me..." Goku replied, rising up behind the Icejin, his golden aura flaring out in all directions. It was quite a sight to behold. The Super Saiyajin legend was just that, a legend. A story passed on through the Saiyajin generations, something to be in wonder of, to dream about...but not something that was actually obtainable...was it? And yet here was this guy, this Saiyajin, tail-less, prideless, and welding the power that Freeza himself was scared of. "Gohan, I told you to get out of here. Do NOT disobey your father again!"

"But father, I..."

"GO GOHAN, NOW!"

Rensou could immediately tell that there was something different in the Saiyajins voice, in his inflection. He seemed angrier, stern...a rage within his power. He was much more animalistic, much more Saiyajin, than he had been before. But this was the type of mode he needed to be in to defeat Freeza.

Grabbing the kid's hand, Rensou tugged him away from the fight. "Freeza won't care about us while your dad's there, kid. We get out of his way, let him fight to his full power. If you are around, he'll worry too much about keeping you safe, and won't be able to concentrate on the freak..." Gohan silently agreed, flying back towards the ship where he had left Piccolo's body, and Bulma anxiously wanting to leave.

As the two flew, Goku had communicated with the North Kaio, and the forces on Earth used their own Dragonballs to make their wish. Right before his very eyes, Gohan disappeared, leaving the only people left on Namek Rensou, the Super Saiyajin...and Freeza.
