So yes, I'm trying out for a musical tomorrow and it is sooo nerve wracking. It's almost hard to concentrate on it long enough to write this all out. But I'm very excited! I have to do a monolog and than a 20-30 second song. My monolog is from Beauty and the Beast and my song is "Let it Snow".
I mean, I know I'll do well, because I've practiced it so many times! But I wonder if breathing will be an issue?
Lol, pray for me!
Has anyone ever been in a play?

I was in a musical once.
The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
I played a chorus girl, which in the context of the play, meant that I was to entice the audience to react to the goings on in the play.
I also had to wear victorian underwear for the peice. (Bloomers, lacey top and corset)
It was fun, though looking back, there were so many things I could have done better.

That does sound fun! Goodness, I've always thought it would be cool to be in a play. I'd like to help design the costumes too, that's gotta be loads of fun don'tcha think? I mean, the chorus wearing victorian "underwear" is totally charming.

I'm going to audition for a Christmas Carol this upcoming Friday.

I haven't been in a play in a while. <-Since Edwin Drood musical-
So I'm a little nervous.
