Dear elf, I've noticed a lot of people in this guild read, but we didn't have a thread about books eek XD
Yes, ever since I was a young girl, I've always loved books and reading. It must have came from my Dad reading me and my sister Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingels Wilder (I've read the rest of her series, I have the first prints in my collection mrgreen ) as a child. I loved the Berstain Bears, Arther, The little monster dude, plus every childhood classic. Though novels are more of my taste now.
What do y'all like to read? Novels, comics, manga, news, anything?
I guess these ones will top my list;
Uglies trilogy plus Extras by Scott Westerfeld Dragons in our Midst and Oracles of Fire series by Bryan Davis Avalon series by Rachel Roberts Lady of Ch'iao Kuo by Lawrence Yep Harry Potter series by J.K.Rowling Thou Shalt Not Break up with the Skater Dude plus many other rules I've broken Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice Orphan series and Gemini series by V.C. Andrews Circle of Three series (never finished it yet, I only read to book four) Ink Heart by Cornila Flunke
Plus I'm currently working on Pendragon series, Twilight series(Edward is so hot heart ), and The Door Within triology.
Gah, why is there always so much to read. gonk crying

I know, I hate it when a book series has to end...but then again theres the Dragon Lance series and they hardly ever ends ¬.¬ I think I've counted to at least 50 last time I was at Borders.

Jeez...that's quite a series... How many pages per book? I don't remember, I have one of their books, Dragons of the Autumn Twilight, it was in paper back too so it was thicker than the hard cover, but if I remember correctly it was thick as or thicker than my Bible by about an inch and my Bible is about 4 or 5 inches thick. Even then I got bored of it after reading 3/4 of the book, it was also printed in very small text too. I dunno, I'll have to find it and photo it. Probably packed away with my Little House on the Parie books in one of the many boxes we have in our house ¬.¬

Nevermind, I just found their website. Apparently it was a roleplaying game like Dungeons and Dragons, no wonder it's so damn long. Here's all their novels they have.I best half of them are from ghost writers.

Yeah...*sigh* Stupid RPGs....they shouldn't even be novels.
Hmm...mom keeps on hinting me to read the Left Behind series. I think I'll check it out as soon as I finish Chronicles of Narnia and the other stuff I'm reading at the moment >>

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheel_of_TimeWikipedia is your best friend. Though I think I might check it out myself, looks kinda good. Though it's too bad the last novel is going to be finished off by someone else considering the author is dead >>

Jisushika Yakushi His Dark Materials trilogy (Golden Compass) is pretty good I don't mean to offend anyone... I've heard it's good, but I really don't care for that trilogy. Theres some things I've heard that kinda upsets me about it.
