First topic AND post of the new year. I am epic.
SO, everyone that still checks this guild, tell me...
What makes you happy? Like... brings back good memories, or makes you laugh out loud in awkward places.
Here's some of mine:
The Cranberries', No Need to Argue album makes me think of driving and sitting in the back of the vehicle in summer where it's nice out and the wind is streaming through your hair and everything feels perfect and you have no responsibilites.
Whenever someone mentions the word 'sporatic' I smile and sometimes laugh, because my boyfriend and I had a conversation about flying blue spores with teeth that we were trying to be serious about the entire time.
The song 'A Lack of Color' by Deathcab for Cutie; reminds me of Kai-face, and of my first RP.
Not wearing shoes. Kind of self-explanitory. You're free.

What makes me happy...?
Skipping school in the winter makes me feel free. Because I usually get halfway to school before I decide I don't feel like going, but I can look down the streets and realize I can do anything I want to, 'cause there's nobody there to stop me. I don't have to stick to the schedule of the norm and wake up, go to school, come home. I can wander around and look into people's lives a bit and feel so much more free than them when they're sticking to their routine.
The "Queen of the Damned" soundtrack reminds me of the time I wandered around Rosetown for six hours or something outrageous listening to it in the dead of winter, and the dead of night.
The movie "Thirteen Ghosts" reminds me of... being a kid. Watching it with Jackal and obsessing. Having a list of all the ghosts on my closet door. It's where he got his name, even. Now I'll remember it as coming to a realization. "Thirteen Ghosts" made me realize that, even though it was a scary movie, I wasn't afraid of anything after I watched it, even when most things have that reaction. And I came to the realization that I wasn't afraid of sharp, pointy, evil teeth sinking into me in the dead of night. I was afraid of human teeth.
"Queen of the Damned" the movie, and X-men both remind me of holing up with Catherine, my best friend from Rosetown, for the entire weekend with the bed against the door, and obsessing.
X-men! Reminds me of starting high school with Cat and Veo. I called Veo "Kurt", as in Nightcrawler. Catherine was "Storm", and I was "Rogue" and I wore cut-off gloves all the time, even to the swimming pool.
Trees. Trees are... trees are free. You can see the world, and the world can feel you, because you're in a tree and therefore attached to it. Trees make me feel alive.
Black Heart, or whatever the song's named, by David Usher. Reminds me of when Xan and I danced in the rain in her alley.
The Three Days Grace CD, that first one. I listened to that one summer in jr. high, when I was completely and totally nocturnal. I crept around at ungodly hours of the morning, and nobody was awake, and there was still frost, and I built fairy mounds and watch Magic Bullet infomercials. Then, the second the Sun breached the horizon, I was out like a light. Again, I was free.

And yeah, I like that one, too. Reminds me of my old aqua converse knock-offs. xD Added to happy list.
Same with Sex And Candy by Marcy Playground. Reminds me of... overalls. In that good way.
I vote next mental health day we wander.
Oh, and let's not forget Mortal Kombat. (Hums theme) I played it, watched it, tried to do, got my a** kicked, and loved Johnny Cage.
