That was absolutely HILARIOUS.
At one point, I couldn't stop giggling and my sister told me to shut the ******** up or she would beat up my computer.
That was scary, so I stopped a little and put my fist in my mouth, resulting in the odd snort.

Well, let's see....
The girls went to Avernio's to use his scrying "bowl" to help locate Xparx. That done, they went to Aint-GotPork, capital city of the Kingdom of Chutzpah. Vedis' Aunt Mazoe lives in that city, and she and her minions also want to grab Xparx. Her minions (Simris Smugsdottir and Silverado) ran into the Sleeper Minion (one of Avernio's creatuers, IIRC) and a brawl ensued between the Sleeper and Simris.
Meanwhile, Xparx and Mazoe (together?! WTF?!) walk past the window of private detective Hashill Dammitt who is also after the bounty on Xparx.
Vedis and her buddies track Xparx to Mazoe's house, but beat a hasty retreat and fail to grab him, assuming he is indeed there.
