About The Twins
 Name: Kaoru
About: Kaoru is the most level headed one out of the two Hitachiin brothers. unlike Hikaru he's an observer, being the one to think a situation through rather than jumping into it childishly like for instance when Haruhi met Arai again. He cares about his brother a lot, and hates to see him upset or ill-minded, however if trouble is caused he will be the one to admit an apology.
Being the youngest, he's always the damsel or the one held in Hikaru's arms in their 'brotherly love' moments, which are quite... *fangirlism* In any case, he's the more thoughtful, laid back one out of the two.

About: Throughout the Ouran series, Hikaru since meeting Haruhi and after episode 5 began to grow a more in depth liking towards her as well as many other characters, however he held back on admitting he did and instead when it came to it let his emotions stress these feelings out. Having an awkward past and a circle where only him and his brother where in it made them had a feeling of intimidation; Once Haruhi came they were able to be more sociable with people outside of there brotherly feild and become more attached with people, Hikaru especially began to realize and was more hopeful that people could and would be able to tell them apart and see them fior themselves rather than the same being. Even theough they look the same they are both different in each way, this is why Hikaru chose to learn the horse and cart where as his brother chose not to so that could be Hikaru's 'special' skill.
