Time to get this guild started! xd heart
I love both film and digital forms. They both have their ups and downs, so I consider them equal in value. 3nodding

Digital! It's just easier! But more expenisve...batteries...batteries...and um...batteries. I should really invest in some rechargeable ones.
Aargh,it took me three minutes just to post this...evil errors... sad

Digital, all the way. Whenever I shoot with film I feel like I'm wasting it... redface

hm, so far, I am the only film vote... heh. I Prefer film over digital because I have more fun with it. I have access to a darkroom so I find there is much more to do with film than digital. they both have their advantages tho.

I personally go digital for convenience, its cheaper in the long run (no film or darkroom costs) and chemicals smell... I used to be in the darkroom alot, I still do when I need REALLY hi contrast black and white images. for everything else, theres digital

@Michiura Samantha: You most certainly should invest in rechargable ones exclaim
For my personal use digital is nice because I use it more for reference and that doesn't require HIGH resolution. However if you wanted it for the photography it self I think film I nicer, I'm not very experienced though and I've never been in "the dark room".

when I worked in a photo lab, I got all the AA batteries I can handle out of sigle use cameras. xd
I still have a bunch left; however, recharables are so much better. I have a Quantum 1+ (a nice sealed lead acid batter), aswell. it runs my old film camera and it will run my new flashes.

I like both......it really depends on what the subject matter/style is for me.
That reminds me, I haven't posted what my tools are yet: A Canon Pro1 for digi and an old '70's Pentax MX for flims whee

I'm not skilled enough to be able to take rolls of film yet without it being lots of money out of my pocket, so I have a digital. When I get above amatuer level and would like to make photography a more regular thing for me( I'm more for drawing) I might get a real film camera...but I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking with digi for a good amount of my life...I'm just more responsible with my electronic media..and willing to work with it.. @_@

I like film. Developing my own pictures is so much fun...I just wished I had access to a darkroom!
