BLARGH!!! HARDCORE!!!! UNF!!!

So yeah. I've been purchasing all of SNK's recent fighting game releases and collections, along with much l33t h@xxzorz roms and such....and now I felt like making a thread aboot it.

To start off, some vids on obscure releases worth looking at

Big Bang Beat, a recent doujin game with characters from a h-game...sounds weird, but that's how Melty Blood came about as well sweatdrop

Martial Masters....I think this one was made in Taiwan. All the characters are homages to random Kung-Fu movie characters. Of course, no one's heard of it, but it's a solid title that's had a pretty limited U.S. arcade presence...

Art of Fighting 3- The only reason to pick up Art of Fighting Anthology (although, admittedly, AOF 2 is a bit fun too...). This is a wonderful and horribly overlooked game.

There's a site where random folks motion capture themselves MK style and upload it into some sort of fighting engine....I've seen videos of the same characters uploaded onto MUGEN as well.

I honestly wouldn't mind new motion captured games. They were pretty goofy looking in retrospect (lol Stryker), but with today's special effects and bigger budgets available nowadays, it'd be kinda cool to see what could be done.

It doesn't translate very well when you're a fat dude dressed in the best of "lol, 90's" fashion and then put in a video game.

Gotta love his redesign in the last game, though.

No talk about Street Fighter IV? There are gameplay vids from the GDC now.
Edit: I guess it's not 2D but still counts right?
