The Dwarven citidel has been at a critical point along ((umm...I need to work with some people to get a trade road and some trade routes started, it'll go here)), the Dwarves have always held it strong and held fast against numerous threats. It has been a Time of relative peace, the Dwarves don't mind if people don't use their trade routes, they don't really need the trade, They can live without it, but they did find it strange when people started using the main trade roads less and less, especially the humans. But the citidel has been stale for a while, and besides deep down in the minds their is no monster activity, so the dwarves are on edge, some of the dwarves want to Expand their terretory, others watn to find out what is happening to trade, and still others want to let things play out for the other races as they would. The king is torn, he dosn't think that the citidel will survive if the division continues, He has called out to the realms, sending messagers all over, some returning, and some seeming to simply dissapear, to top things off the orcs deep in the tunnels have stopped fighting the goblins and seem to be working with them, their attacks directed by some unknown hand, The king is in desperate need of heroes and he is surching for them among his people, taking a select few and training them in their desired course, then setting them to work on getting the city stable. It hasn't worked yet. The only connecting region they have contact with is controlled by the Elves, and the dwarves have been on uneasy terms with them for some time now, it would take the smallest spark to ignite a flame that would result in the loss of many of the elder races, and turmoil on the world that would last years. New hope seems to come from the south though, as caravans of humans((I say this lightly)) and Dwarves of unknown descent start to flow north, right through the citidel.
