Although I wont be posting any right now, I made this thread so that People could use it for the religion, I also would like to mention that I have some religions and Deitys in mind, but I have yet to come up with their names and would like to make the affiliation chart for them((if you guys would like to use affiliations, which if need be I can explain, or you can find in the players handbook two, along with a complete guide to creating your own. I want to use this system becuase it makes a reward system for the player getting into his religious order and going up in the ranks, which can be, and for mine will be harder then you'd think.))

I have an idea for a fallen civilization's religion were elemental shamans were the heads of the religion. Its a polytheistic relegion like that of greek mythology. The gods and other things are as listed God Description Furlon (FUR-lon) Father of Wind; Husband to Gaia and Supreme God to gods of Residing in the Air Gaia (GUY-a) Mother of Life and the Earth; Wife to Furlon and Supreme god to gods residing on Land Raka (RACK-a) God of Lightning. Brother to Furlon. Karaswata (CARA-swa-ta) Daughter of Furlon, Heart broken goddess of Water and Mal-fate Agni (AG-nee) Angry god of Battle and Fire. Son to Raka. Is on a mad hunt to kill Dianus and avenge his heart-broken love Karaswata Dianus (DIE-a**s) God of Farming and Knowledge; Is said to appreciate Karaswata’s love but wants only Jana Jana (JAN-a) Goddess of the Moon and Stars; Is said to be protecting Dianus from the Eternal Wraith of Agni; Daughter of Surya Surya (SUR-i-a) God of the Sun and Hunt; Father of Jana Karthhellem (KARTH-hell-em) The invisible realm of the gods Kaina Noble Spirits that work as cooks and peasants to the goods in Karthhellum
This would be good as I said for a very primitive civilization because when created that was its purpose but none the less it can used for anything. I also believe that this will need revision in order to update it for characters but for now its just an idea.

I have a few ideas, primarily creatures that ascended to God-hood in some of my games.
Nezrul (nehz-rool)- A vampiric dragon, ascended to God-hood through intense training and meditation in the underworld. Neutral Evil, Domains would include:
Dragon, Evil, Domination, War, Hunger, Dragon Below, Scalykind, Undead
Kirsul (keer-sool)- Elemental lord of ruins, mines, and other stone structures. Goes about making abandoned ones into elementals and bringing them to the Plane of Earth. True Neutral, Domains would include:
Earth, Renewal, Law, Strength, Retribution
Keep in mind, these are just ideas. I don't know how well they would work, but... well, it's a start, hehe.

My Deities: (Some are my NPCs but some are players that ascended in game) Agitha: A very powerful gold dagon that studied all forms of knowledge and magic becoming very intelligent and wise. She hordes knowledge where as other dragons horde treasures. Her "ascension" was not accomplished by normal means instead when she finally died her soul stayed on the material plane. Instead of trying to console herself so she could move on she created a quasi-plane in which she created a large yellow and golden sphere crystal which grew as time went by. When the crystal started it was the size of the Earth's Moon she imprisoned her own soul within the crystal allowing herself to become immortal. In order to continue her learning of knowledge and magic she created an avatar of herself as a young elven girl on the material plane. She built a large underground home and built many small animal constructs: owls, foxes, and the like. These animals gather books, scrolls, and hear say knowledge for her collection. People eventually began worshiping her as a goddess of counsel, knowledge, wisdom, and magic. This gave birth to Agitha as a goddess rather than merely a powerful dragon spirit. Her avatar's home's location is a highly guarded secret mostly because Agitha hates uninvited guests pestering her about life's secrets. She takes care such uninvited guests by giving a magic item or two and sending them on some random quest, usually hinting that it will answer their questions. Alignment: CG Domains: Knowledge, Counsel, Good, and Magic Religion: Agitha never formally created a church however worshipers, much to her amusement, created one anyway. Her largest church is ran by the Divine Oracle (the highest member of the church who often communes with Agitha directly, on a side note the Oracle is always female.)
Natsuhibushi: God of the Red Star (Mars) is a god of healing and creation. He often takes the form of a young boy in a Japanese imperial kimono, a blood red cherry blossom at his heart. He also developed the first Teleportation Magic Circle. He ascended by sacrificing himself for his brothers survival. Natsuhibushi searches for his brother Mitsuhibuhi's lost memories, which unknown to Mitsuhibushi himself was stolen by Vecna, the God of Secrets. Natsuhibushi is sometimes referred to as The Giver. Alignment: NG Domains: Creation, Healing, Transportation Religion: Small to large shrines and temples scattered across the lands.
Mitsuhibushi: God of the Black Star (Pluto) is a god of pain and destruction. He is Natsuhibushi's twin brother but he had ascended quite differently, he accidentally killed the weapon smith's daughter when he bumped into her causing her to trip and fall on a weapon's rack. In a moment of intense rage and impaired thinking the weapon smith took a still heated long sword and attempted to plunge it into Mitsuhibushi's heart. Seeing his intention however Natsuhibushi jumped in the way the sword piercing his heart. The grief and despair of Mitsuhibushi was so great he ascended to a deity of sorrow but the cause of his despair became forgotten in the decades to follow.(Stolen by Vecna.) He knew it had to do with his brother the newly risen god and began to hate him. Anything Natsuhibushi created he would attempt to destroy. He often appears as a young boy in a funeral kimono, his face flecked with blood, wielding a bloodied long sword. He is also slightly insane with blood lust. Alignment: CE Domains: Destruction, Pain, and Death Religion: evil tyrants often worship him within small shrines hidden in their castles.
Yuki and Yoko: God and Goddess of Family, Love, Warmth, and Snow. Yuki and Yoko are a sorcerer and cleric who wedded with each other as mortals. Yuki was a snow sprite and Yoko a half fire elemental kitsune. They loved each other greatly and instead of dieing their pure love caused them to ascend together as dual deities, powerless without one another. Alignment: NG Domains: Love, Snow, Fire, Family Religion: Various temples and cults are dedicated to them.
Yahe, The Enchanting Tree: Yahe is the overdeity who holds up a universe and is rivals with Jehovah another overdeity who seeks to become the only deity in existence, he sees the other deities as beings who merely gained great power and immortality. Yahe is the queen of my deities and keeps their powers in check. She does not interfere directly with mortals and has limitless divine power. She is indefinitely kind and when the inhabitants of one of the worlds she holds like a dew drop on her leafs kills their world it saddens her deeply. Few mortals know of her existence through out the planes. She is worshiped by some of the other deities but no mortals worship her. Alignment: NG
