These are large well kept grounds about 10 km in diameter, they are used by students for sparing as well as survival lessons through the university. There are many different forested enviornments that test a students wit and cunning, students have been known to dissapear within the grounds so tread carefully there's no telling what could happen to you.

Tobi laid in the training grounds on a branch about ten meters high. He had been sleeping for a few hours because he got bored. As rain started to fall upon the grounds, few drops fell into his right eye through the hole in his orange mask. The drops startled him awake. "Hmm..? Oh! Ah, I must've fallen asleep! Who knows how long I've been...oh...AAH!" he said jumping up on the branch as it snapped and he fell to the ground. "Oooh....ouch..." he said as he got up from the ground rubbing his head. "That hurt." He began dusting himself off as he noticed in the window of the cathedral, Pein was standing looking out on the village. A little white haired fox walked casually between Tobi's legs and jumped up onto his shoulder. "You OK Tobi?" Sai asked Tobi. "You took a pretty big fall there, I still don't see how you can sleep so long during the day. You were sleeping for about four hours." "Yea I think I'm OK, Sai. Wait, what!? Four hours?! Man...." Tobi yelled. "Yup. Four hours...you sure can sleep for a long time...." Sai said, a little startled at Tobi's yell. "Yea, I guess I just get to bored to easily...." Tobi said walking towards the training grounds exit.

Konan appeared in a flurry of paper her body re assembling, from the folded papers. "Tobi may i speak to Mandra-sama." She said calmly. "i'm afraid pain needs to speak to you If you are consenting to it." Konan said calmly, as the rain dipped onto her body. She shook her head as the water fell knowing she couldn't use any of her jutsu now.

"Hi Konan-san" Sai said smiling as he jumped off of Tobi's shoulder onto the ground several feet from Tobi. From there he transformed back into his normal self. His black Akatsuki cloak and hood shrouding his body, while a fox ANBU mask concealed his smiling face. "I..." Sai began in an almost high pitched voice "honestly think that we should re-consider our outfits. I mean really, I personally like the color white, we've had these lousy black cloaks for I don't know how many years. You should know Konan-san. You and Pein started this gloomy organization didn't you? Fortunately we have Tobi-kun here who brightens up this gloomy organization we have here. I don't really appreciate Mandra, he's so dark and mysterious. He's hardly around...and quite frankly he doesn't like animals. If Tobi could just control Mandra and be able to use his Sharingan and techniques we could have this nice person here who brightens up everyday and still kicks alotta a**." he said trying not to be so straightforward with his point. He really never did appreciate Mandra's actions towards animals....or anyone or anything for that matter. "Thats just my opinion on the matter though. That is you and Pein's decision, Konan-sama." he added as he turned his attention towards Tobi who hadn't said anything on the matter yet. Come to think of it. Tobi's been my only friend for pretty much...all of my life. I'd hate to see Mandra again. he though to himself as he turned and walked out of the training grounds. He wasn't about to watch his best and only friend turn into a criticizing monster. "Don't mind him Konan-san. He never likes seeing me turn into Mandra, I've been his only friend since his childhood when the war killed everyone he knew. So anyway. What is it that Pein-han wants to speak to Mandra about?" he asked Konan in his normal high pitched voice as he watched Sai leave. "I just don't want to deprive Sai of his only friend, Konan." He added, but this time in a serious voice, which was unusual for Tobi.

"I understand tobi-kun however, Its about Mandra's Daughter. Pain wants her recovered, considering how dangerous she could be if she ever masters both her sharingan, and the bijuu she carries. The bigger concern is the resistance and there is a possibility she could be with them which makes things worse." Konan answered politely to her friend. Konan watched sai leave and sighed to herself, she didn't really care for mandra's personality either but he was thier commander.
"And you wouldn't be mandra for long." Konan added knowing mandra would understand the implications she presented.
"however pain-san would prefer to speak of this more in person."

"Understood, Konan-sama." Tobi replied to his instructor. I really hope this doesn't last long. He thought to himself as his right eye turned a bright blood red with Mandra's Sharingan. "I will go and speak to Pein about this matter that seems to be ever growing worse." Mandra said to Konan. His voice now low pitched and evil rather than high pitched and comforting. And Mandra disappeared to Pein's room in the cathedral in a whirl of heavy wind and leaves. *exit to cathedral*

Konan sighed when mandra left and decided to avoid the palace for the next few hours, She sighed at the sky and began to walk her body unable to preform further jutsu thanks to the water pouring from the sky. Her jutsu were only effective as long as it didn't rain. She headed for one of the exits, water splashing beneath her feet as she left. *kona exits to the streets.*
