If yo have an idea for a formula you would like to use, please submit it here. We will consider your consideration carefully, and make suggestions as appropriate in an attempt to help you attain what you desire. Currently, the formula submissions are the province of the Minor DM's. As such they will jointly consider each submission until an acceptable balance is reached by both. This may take some time in certain cases, so please be patient.

Currently, the rules for Creation are as follows:

To create an item you will require three things
Formula: Approved by a Major or Minor DM
Items: combined to create item
Time: real life time it takes to make the item

An item has to be balanced for RPS regardless of what is taken to make it. Meaning you can’t take three months and 10 divine ramuna to make a dagger with E1, attack +10. That’s not what this is for. The purpose is to allow characters to make special items that they can’t seem to find or suite their characters have special effects that they would like to have.

~Tier of Creation~


Common:(stuff available for sale normally)
-May require consumable level ingredients, and in some cases, one lesser Action, Spell, or Item that can be purchased from the Item Shop.

Uncommon: (Stuff available for sale in some special locations, or limited access, that has been used actively by other members for some time.)
-May require any number of consumables, and at least one basic Action, Spell or Item that can be purchased from the Item Shop.

Rare: (Stuff only available in Dungeons, Mini-games, or available for purchase in limited access location, and is relatively unknown or new to the system entirely.)
-May require any number of consumables, and potential combinations of Basic and Advanced Spells, Actions or Items either available at open shops, or limited shops.


Special: (really powerful stuff)
Can require any amount of consumables, Spells, Actions, Items or Special Ingredients not normally found anywhere outside of Dungeons, Mini-games, or even specific quests.

And to keep the submissions at a reasonable level, you are limited to one submission per week. And please, don't submit for submission's sake. Only submit what you are prepared to create. This isn't a competition folks.

Since it's a Spell,shouldn't the main ingredient be spell oriented, rather than an Action?

I realize the actual effects are closer to the Action than the Spell, I'm just wondering if we need to set a precedent that states Spells require spell components, Actions require action components, and so on and so forth...

Flame-strike (3MP)
Deals magic damage equal to 2x your magic score plus your attack score x2. You must have an attack score of at least 6, and cannot have a magic score higher that 2x your attack.

((I know it seems over powered but most magic orientated people would cast energy-burst or fireball due to them being better MP effiecency for them))

How about this?

Flame Strike (3MP)
Deals magic damage equal to double your magic score plus double your attack score. You must have a Base Attack Stat of at least 5, and cannot have a magic score higher that 2x your Base Attack Stat.

Ummm... The making looks okay, but I only have one problem... I only put 2 points into attack so I could switch out my b*****d sword with another item... O.o;; and it would be kind of redundant to strive to make something I couldn't use so...

Save that for later contemplation... Let me think for a while.

How about if we alter it a bit further?

Flame Strike (3MP)

Gears it more for the Fighter Mage, and would allow the higher damage factor from equip.

That sounds resonable, I'll just do the tourney to get the stuff, and if I can somehow get the 1CP I'll put that into attack... If not, I can put one of my saved CPs in!

I want to make this from Gerbo's airship dungeon, but I'm not sure what it would require other than stunning blow.

Steel Bracer (2 equip, any target you deal physical damage to cannot use an action. This counts as a stun effect.)

But the approved formula for stunbolt has you use an energy burst and Stunning blow. So making that spell requires an action.
And yeah, I picked call mist because it closely resembled the thing i was trying to make.
