Em stumbled into her room and locked the door behind her. A few forced steps lead her to her bed. She fell and that was it, she was out like a light.

She wasn't sure how long she was out but felt better when she woke up, her arm throbbing ever so slightly. Glancing out her window she saw daylight, they must of gotten out of the shadow plains while she was sleeping.
Glancing around her room she decided on moving a few things around. It took some time but she managed, even tho her arm throbbed a bit more when she was done. She liked it.
Em crashed onto her loveseat and kicked her feet up turning on the TV and decided to play a video game.

After a bit Em pokes at her arm and knocks on the cast to see how her arm feels. It throbs a slight bit but nothing she can't handle. Slowly getting up she looks around for the tools she needs to get the damn cast off her arm. Finally she finds what she needs and begins the process of removing the cast.
Finally with her arm free she scratches like mad at a spot that was really starting to become a bother.
Her arm throbs for a bit but soon dulls away.

"Oh my god...you have no problem punching through another man's chest to tear out his still beating heart but you CANT EVEN KNOCK ON A WOMAN'S DOOR!?"
"I'm thinking about what to say." Crix mumbled. He had found a moment to take a break from his painstaking work he was up to in his room to walk over to Em's room...now he just wondered how should should word this.
"If you don't hurry this along so help me I WILL START SINGING AGAIN"
"ALRIGHT FINE!" Crix yelled while pounding the door with the armored gauntlets he was still working from working the steel in his room.

Em is startled slightly by the sudden outburst and pounding at her door. She takes a moment to stretch before she gets up off her sofa. Slowly she walks over and answers the door before he can pound on it again. The door is open just enough for her to stick her head out.
"Yeah?"

Crix's armored fist was about to slam again and abruptly stopped when he saw Em's face next to the door when it opened a little.
"Oh..Hey Em!" Crix gave a nervous smile.
"So um...hows the arm feeling?"
"Open with light banter then move in for the kill, good strategy!"

Em glanced down at her arm which was still aching dully. "It's still there," she replied opening the door a bit further so she could lean against the frame.
"Did ya need somethin?"

"Huh...maybe she doesn't know about what you did Crix...OH GOD THATS SO FUNNY! YOU WENT THROUGH ALL THAT FOR NOTHING! BWAHAHA!"
With Nexus laughing in his mind Crix steeled himself.
"Yeah actually...we are having that valentine dance and everything..."
Crix was clenching and unclenching his gauntlets nervously.
"Umm....would you like to go with me?"
Crix face showed the slightest signs of blushing and he looked up at the ceiling as if something very interesting was up there.

Em found amusement in his nervousness. Not very dark or brutal at all. She got up on her tiptoes and stared at his face for a moment before lowering herself back down and snickering. With as much black as he wore, even the slightest blushing stood out on his face.
"Hmm..." she thought a moment. Would be nice having someone to go with. "Sure, why not... sound like fun." She smiled almost evily.

"Really!?" He said excitedly looking back at her. He almost looked like he was going to make a move to hug her but caught himself.
"She looks much cuter with an evil expression...maybe she plans on killing you Crix."
Crix's face broke into an uncharacteristic smile.
"Great, then Ill meet you by the stairs in the foyer! DON'T TEST MY PATIENCE BY BEING LATE!"
He then ran with newfound energy back and into his room to finish what he had been working on.

Em watched him take off. "How can I be late if I don't even know what time..." She sighed and slinked back into her own room and began to wonder what to wear or if she had to go get something.

Crix turned on his heel and bolted back to her door, punching it a few times before yelling.
"Oy...Ten O'clock! I...forgot to mention that...Bye!"
Cursing his own stupidity Crix stomped off down the hall again.

Em came back to her room after the incident at the pool. She changed and laid down to think. Finally she decided to let him tell her what happened when he was good and ready. She laid there wondering what she could do to keep herself busy til the next mission.

Crix knocked on Em's door, not slamming it or punching it this time.
He didn't feel like he could talk to anyone else.
