Those who are making trouble or 'mischief' will serve their detentions here. Those who are attending the detentions will report to the front desk and the teacher on duty there, and see how long their detention is. Those who have detentions but do not go at the teachers requested time will face punishments such as not being allowed into the grounds, and, if missed several times, seclusion away from students. Please abide to this notice and enter the detention room quietly. Thank you.

Ms Terry walked into the detention room. She looked around at the uncomfortable desks, the slippery polished floor, and the fluorescent lighting. All designed to make students want to spend as little time in here as possible. She smiled and waited to see if any students had detentions.

Harriet peeped round the door at the cruelly smiling Miss Terry. She shivered, glad that she wasnt in therre with her. "Man, I hope when i get a detention, its not wih her on duty!" she said, forgetting Miss Terry could hear her.

Ava walked in, half-asleep. She sighed and walked over to a desk. She almost slipped, but then grabbed onto a desk. She sighed and then looked over at Max and smiled at him.

Harry walked in cooly and made her way over to Ava and Max. She was in her school uniform, the shirt untucked, her tie loose and the top two buttons undone. She was wering her pearly blue sandals, which made resounding tapping sounds as the kitten heels touched the floor. She tossed a detention sheet at the front desk, and sat in her seat.
"Absolute silence, right?" Harry had many encounters with detention rooms before, and knew what to expect. Under the table [so Miss Terry would not see] she took out her new Nokia phone, which she had enhanced using her powers, and settled down for a long wait.
