You shouldn't have to reinstall GRUB, all you should have to do is run update-grub, for details on this see the following website http://www.penguin-soft.com/penguin/man/8/update-grub.html, or manually edit GRUB and add PCIOS as a boot option to grub (for this you will need to know the label for that 20 GB partition you are installing it on.

If the update-grub command doesn't work then yes it may be easier to reinstall grub

Yuck Yuck Yuck i installed PClOS last night when i was half awake... Probably my first mistake.
\But lets start with the good news: 1) PClOS is installed and i must say it is quite nice. 2)It's a Pretty easy Grub editing interface. 3)I am triple booting
\Now the really annoyingly bad I can boot in Ubuntu but only in Safe mode and my graphics are Sh*ty Compiz-fusion will not load. or my volume control, any connection to the internet will fall both wireless and the good old CAT-5 cable.
\and now i'm tinkering with the grub editor. And i'm pointing Grub straight at /dev/sda2/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18.8
this is frustrating...

At least you had a heads up on one of my friends who was looking for a new distro to replace his Mandriva, and ended up trying to duel boot Fedora Core 8 and XP drunk. His end result was wiping his disk and not installing anything.

I like SuSE, 10.3 was a great speed boost and 11.0 is promising better sound drivers for loader sound. If you want to use GNOME as your desktop though I would stay way from the DVD, for some reason GNOME is broken on the DVD but works fine if installed from the 1 GNOME cd.
