Do you dare enter? dark angel tightened the grip on her staff as she walked in to the woods. she felt a heaviness in the air but didn't know where it was coming from.

Beastmaster watched the trees, swinging their branches in a manner almost like an attempt to snatch someone, although it could have just been the unusually strong breeze which was blowing. Shrugging, she looked around, and began to walk into the forest, ever the more watchful with every step, noticing a dusty set of prints likewise going into the wood.

dark angel looked behind her to see beastmaster walking behind her. she let her breath out, and walked deeper in to the woods.

While walking, Beastmaster notices movement out of the corner of one eye. confused Thinks to self,"Did that tree just swallow something? Hmmm....Better keep a good eye on this odd place." Continues walking, nibbles some beef jerky she had in a pocket.

dark angel still felt uneasy about beastmaster behind her. she then saw a tree movie. maybe beastmaster was not a worry to her, she thought.

"Watch out!" Hydro yells as he runs up to beast and dark angel. A tree was about to swing a branch at them. Hydro jumped and hit the branch, making it fall to the ground

After hearing the flurry of footsteps behind her, Beastmaster ducks the branch which was attempting to grab her, then watches it fall away from the tree as Hydro sails past. "hmm....Seems like the local flora here has a problem with us mobile types....I think the trees should take a hint or two, from that manuever. If not, I will have to deal with them...and it shall not be pretty." *crushes the branch and keeps katana at ready in case of another attempt*

dark angel was shocked by the attack. "how did that happen?" she cried. she then rushed over to hydro. "are you ok?" she asked.

Looking about to make sure all is quiet for the moment, she tries to explain."This forest seems to be alive...but much more so than the usual manner. What's more, the trees seem to have an extreme dislike for either anything with a nervous system, or just people like us in general. Guessing from their reactions so far, they have no other wish than to cause us harm, and possibly kill us. As to our savior of the moment, I am sure he is not too badly hurt." Seeing more movement at her elbow, Beastmaster slices off a branch as large as she is, using her scythe. "We can't stay in one spot for too long, so I will try to keep a lookout while you check his wounds, if he has any."

Showing his vicious demon teeth, Hydro laughs. " I Doubt wounds will be any problem... although just to be on the safe side we should all stick together"

Showing a likewise razor-like set of teeth, Beastmaster replied,"Yes, that would most likely be the wisest decision in this place...Safety in numbers and all that. I wonder why the trees are so malicious towards us....Almost like they have are under someone's control...Or perhaps the trees are much more than what they appear to be, and are merely biding their time.....waiting for the right moment." With that being said, she began to eye the trees with an even greater precision.
