A Giant tree stands before you, so big, another base lays in the top. but you don't have to climb, stairs lay in the branches. It's a long walk, so there are huts located on the way up. Our army owns this giant wonder, all for us to enjoy.

i marveled at the oaken base the way it looked was like the trees grew that way. the stairs were hidden just right to keep enimes bellow. i climbbed the stairs slowly wondering who could have talked to the trees in such a way to have basicly a whole collony in the branches. it was all beautiful to me, i felt as if i was home again.

dark angel sat at the top of the tree. she watched all of the forest as the tree tops swayed in the wind. everything was peaceful.

Scampering from branch to branch as a squirrel, Aerin found a few acorns and snipped them from their branch with her large incisors. Sitting on her haunches to better enjoy the snack, she twitched her tail and watched a pair of mockingbirds squawking at each other over a earthworm. So intense was their quarrel that both forgot the worm, which proceeded to withdraw to safety slowly but surely. Heh, if only they'd paid more attention to the food instead of the fight...Oh well, plenty more where that came from. Finishing the acorns, she returned to her explorations of the tree. Pausing long enough to shake a few dead leaves from her tail, Aerin thought she heard her name called. Clinging to the tree trunk, she leapt to a skinny branch and hung off the end of it, then swung to the trunk once more. Bending the branch almost to the breaking point, she catapulted to a point much closer to the top. The shadow and screech of the hawk above caused her to hurry along much faster, bringing her to the top of the tree. Not this time, birdy! Seating herself on a small branch at the top, she smoothed her fur with a brush of her paw and glanced around. "I thought I heard my name mentioned. Everything alright here?"

i came to the top of the stairs and saw hydro and angel. "My apoligies. Am i interrepting or in aplace i should not be? i said apoligeticly not want to intrude on them or be in thier home unwelcomed i slowly started to back down the stairs not wanting to intrude upon them.

"Awww, thanks. I figured it was a little something that we could all enjoy whenever the going isn't as rough as usual. If it wasn't for such good company, I doubt that the tree would be as fit as it is." Hopping to the floor, Aerin settled herself on a bench-like branch that seemed huge in comparison to her small size. "I can't take all the credit for the tree, though. It came from an acorn that was stored long ago in a shrine of Gaea's. This particular tree is rather......I'm not quite sure how to say this....Sensitive? It profits from good feelings...In return, the tree provides a modicum of protection through its leaves and the tips of the younger branches."

"Aerin, you frightened me. I'm still not used to the talking animal thing. How have you been since the battle at your home planet?" He turned to the other person and bowed.

"Sorry to scare you. I've been better....But I've had much worse days before, too. It was never supposed to happen, yet it did. It makes me thankful that humans aren't capable of what the elves could do......At least, not without outside help. The Old Ones still live on in their sunken cities and the world-outside-this world. I worried that Sassoroch might would try to awaken one of them to finish me then..." Aerin shuddered slightly as she remembered some of what the elves had said in hushed tones about the god-like beings. "They do not care so much what they recieve...To them, I would be little more than a snack. Of course, his life might become forfeit as well, which might be why he restrained from such a desperate act."

"Its good to hear your safe, though. You know you will always have a place here. Ah, i almost forgot... You remember Angel was pregnant in that battle... Mellony! Hazmat! get in here."
"Yes father i was just- Aunt Aerin!" a young girl ran up to aerin and hugged her.
"Dear, don't scare the guest, and she's not your aunt."
"She might as well be, after all the adventures you and angel had with her."
A young boy also shyly entered the room.
"This is Hazmat, ad yes i named him after our late friend."

Hugging back as best as she could with her small squirrel arms, Aerin ignored the seemingly crushing embrace and relaxed. "It's fine. It wouldn't be the first time I've been called some sort of relation. Hello, Mellony. What sort of mischief have you and your brother been up to today?"

"I haven't been in much trouble. Dad has been training me to fight. Hazmat has no powers yet though... Which is odd for an angel and demons son." she replied to Aerin
