Excellent game. Get your preorders in, if you haven't yet. This one is sooo much better than Dual Strike.

It's rated E10, but I'd put it at T just for content (story, language, and some disturbing images...) just to give you an idea of the game's atmosphere... It is far less colorful and bubbly than the previous installments. Also, if you're new to AW, don't worry; this is a great first step. Completely new storyline, and thorough tutorials. 26 missions in the main story, but there are also a bunch of trial maps to go through for completion. Something else to be said: I was stuck testing this for a month and a half, and I still got it. That doesn't happen often for any game.

To elaborate on an earlier statement, the plot is very good. Also, as you progress, it gets very. ********. Up. Seriously. 10 year olds are supposed to understand, enjoy, and be comfortable with a story like this? I think not. I was going to spoil the story, but... Buy the game and find it out for yourselves. >D

Also, once you get it, add my friend code [pending]... And we shall play some Rainy Bridges! D<

Hahaha! Nice. I am currently playing, or procrastinating, on Duel Strike. I am currently on Pincer Attack and boy did that drop my need to finish the game. I mean WTF?!

The nice thing about AW biggrin oR is that there isn't any more of that dual CO crap. Also, you can assign your CO to a unit, and they now have a CO effect area in addition to their CO power. There's one CO that is needlessly cheap, but the rest are decently balanced.

If you found AW biggrin S difficult, I'd advise against this one... It'd be really frustrating. :/

Disturbing images?

I've been excited about the game since it was first announced but for some reason I completely forgot about it last week.

4 Player online and map editor. Oh yes.

And is it true that you have to play and beat your own maps to have it put online for others to download?

Actually, it's only 2 player online. I was really disappointed by that. :< (4 player local, though- can also be played with multiple players on one system, like the other one)

And, yeah, you have to beat your maps to submit them to Nintendo WFC. But you can just control both teams, have one capture the other's HQ, and it still works. So long as it's playable, and 10x10 or smaller; those are really the only requirements.

And the images... You'll see.

Incidentally, I'm going to really miss no more Dual CO's. The music was personally one of the best gaming tracks to me ever. For A Dual Strike, that is. Oh, and by the way, do ANY of the Original CO's show up? I may cry if Eagle isn't there. At least at some point. On the other hand, I did beat AW biggrin S, with one hell of a lot of patience. And luck. I never thought I'd kill the clone Drake, but one day...

'Ave it you fat bas***!! Then the rest of the game was really easy, I must say. But the "Launch all 9 missiles, AND blow up the black Crystal" took me some time. I never knew there was the "Part 2" of that, so I was making suicide runs to get the missles. crying

Still, on another hand, (What? I have three hands?) online'll be pretty much a waste of time, since the world is full of petty quitters. The first sign of losing, they'll quit. So, I'd stick to friends, and playing with people in the same room. Then I can hit them if they quit.

This rant has been officially declared... Fin.

I planning on getting it. Advance Wars has been my all time favorite stragity game ever, though I am a bit dissapointed that I won't be able to use Colin (Attack my army of cheap physical labor, Attack!).

Yeah, as it could easily turn the tide to anyones side when either side did a Dual Strike, thus causing you to lose or gain victory.
