Yesterday, I went to the nearby shopping center to my house. For no apparant reason, my friends and I went into Pier 1 Imports. There... I found... amazing.
Glass jars/bottles. And the small bottles (a little less than 1 fluid cup, it seems) COME WITH CORKS! Green, blue, and clear glass. A few different shapes. And there are also the rubber-sealing snap jars. One dollar. That's it. I couldn't believe it. And they have larger bottles about the size of wine bottles in a few different colours of glass in beautiful designs for only $5.
Needless to say, I bought two large bottles and 6 small jars. =3 I am sooooo thrilled XD
Great for holding herbs/potions/etc. And since (as far as I know) Pier 1 is pretty numerous across the country, I thought it might be a good thing to point out. According to the person who helped me check out, they said they have them on a regular basis, it seems.
If anyone else has a find like this, please post it. However, please try to be aware about what stores are chains and what aren't. I want this to be something that everyone can look to.

I have a whole colection of around a dozen such bottles. I got them when they were available at Wal-mart of all places. They don't seal tightly, though.

That's awsome, I'll have to look for a Pier 1 around here!
There was a Dollar Store type thing in my old mall and we went in there one day out of boredum and I found all kinds of candles and holders and incences. I don't know if that was just that particular type of Dollar Store, but I've got a feeling most others would have similar stuff. It's not the highest in quality, but it's cheap if you're low on money. There was another store in that town...but I can't remember what it is called and I'm not postive if it's chain or not...I'll have to ask one of my friends when they log on. I'll edit this when I find out. sweatdrop

I find bottles, candles, and candle holders at the thrift store for around $.95. But, I've only bought one because I've never really needed anything. I can't find the right colored candles and I'd have to cleanse them but salt scratches them! So I just buy small candles from a local New Age store. They don't cost much. But anyway, maybe you could find something good at a thrift store near you. ^_^

Small bottles and model ceramic urns (need corks, though) at Wal-mart for $.57 and $.88 apiece!
AND, wal-mart has a decent supply of rubber-sealing jars of all sizes o.o Good for bulk supplies. XD

Wow! -runs off to Pier One for the second time today-
I was just there, and I didn't see that. However, the one near my house sells herb candles, beautiful silk-covered boxes (put ritual supplies in, if your parents aren't too keen on Wicca), 100-packs of votive candles for $4, all kinds of great stuffs.

Really? And you looked in the section with normal spices and spice racks and margarita shakers and such? Cause it was a whole little section of the wall with them at my Pier1 Cirrus: Well, but since Scotland is at least closer to the heart of Neo-Pagan religion, I am sure there are more straightforward supply stores around you. Ne? And, I found these little bottles in the home decorating section with all the vases and faux flowers. You can also look in the cookware section. I know they have vinegar bottles and such. You just need to know which area to look in (granted it is the same company as Wal-Mart, and just a different name)

I find things like that at the Good Will store and yard sales for cheap. I also snagged a couple from my step sisters yard sale....

Dollar General, I just went today...and I bought my Chalice and two candle holders for....3.50 total, now I just need to go to the Salvation Army tomorrow to see what I can find there or just go to the wiccan shop. I will post an edit tomorrow about the Salvation Army or if I go anywhere else and find good prices for things.

Thrift stores are good and all... but those are not reliable sources, which I was hoping people would post. I am talking about places that have useful supplies on a more regular basis.
As this thread grows with more reliable sources, I will start listing them in the first post.
So yeah... let's continue with sources that will probably have these supply-type objects on a regular basis. I will also happily gather websties, as long as the submitter has PURCHASED something from the site and approves of the product. Hopefully this can be a great resource thread =3

If anyone has a Kirkland's near them, it's got spiffy stuff like sconces, candle holders, and some bottles. ninja But they're not always cheap.
