I went to the last official Gaia panel, I believe that was AB05.. I was also at NYAF and talked to some gaia people, but didn't go to the panel.
Yeah, I went to the official thing in 05. Never got much of a chance to talk to anyone though after it since my friends were in a rush to leave and do something else. But at least I got to win a poster. I was all happy and excited over that.
heart I also went to the panel last year. It wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but I know it wasn't their fault either (the people running the panel couldn't get their projector to work).
sad But basically, it was a panel that was meant to talk about Gaia and the latest stuff happening on it, as well as discussing what we liked/disliked and possibly finding ways to improve it (Or what we would like to see happen). There was some Gaia trivia too, if I remember correctly.
