We had an Australian exchange student here in New York for 6 weeks. My friends and I sort of sucked him into our lunch table group, and we all ended up being such good friends! We went out to pizza all the time, and made awful hilarious gay jokes at our other friend and and and and and then he had to leave and go home. crying He gave out these little gold koala pins to his friends, and then he left! (of course there was much hugging and such)
So, yes, I miss him now. He just sent me a nostalgic message on facebook, so now I miss him even more!!! *insert lots of crying*

O: Wow, an exchange student. Cool.
I don't think we've ever had one, but we had like 2 people leave for it. I really want to try out for it this year.

That reminds me of of when our German exchange student Anja left! We were both crying so hard and hugging each other. I need to write her soon, she just sent me a postcard from Barcelona (she was visiting a friend there).
