Half wet paw prints followed him as he walked. The large male had gone through a lot, even though so far he was just traveling. He had ran into sandstorms, annoying birds whom was his only companion, and rains... lots of it. At the moment he was half soaked.
Tic Tac kept his wings out letting the sun dry them. He looked out at the lands, a lake and a tree was coming up. He needed to rest.
As he approached it he let out a loud Roar. Wandering if any other lions were around, he hadn't seen any for a long time. He leaned over and lapped up a good amount of water and flopped down on the sand his wings still spread.

Tequila was going to search for food while her sons watched her youngest daughter. Though her grandson was their as well he was older and knew how to take care of himself. Though he had a temper.
The lioness prowled through sandy lands, not her favorite terrain but do-able. She scented water before she heard a male roar. She turned her head looking back to where she had came from but she decided to take a chance...
She then padded fourth to perhaps see one of the most majestic and perhaps most beautiful males her eyes had ever seen.

Tic Tac froze and his ears twitched backward...
He heard some ones approch.
He looked up at a tree where his bird had perched. She let out a sqawk and Tic Tac seemed to understand turning around and looking at the brightly colored female.
"Mmm.. Hello M'lady."
He pratcitily purred, she was pretty. He stood up and gave a deep bow his wings streaching to their full lenght, then sat. "Care to join me? I do't Bite."
A smirk grew across his face.

She huffed in her head. Males...he had reason to. He was a pretty one, didn't give them excuses to be smart asses though. She smiled though, she had found it amusing.
"It be a pleasure," she walked towards him, still distancing herself. "Name's Kila, and you."

A goofy grin grew across Tic Tac's face. He leaned over for a moment and lapped up some water. "That is a very pretty name, Kila." He nodded and sat back on his haunches. "My name is Tic Tac ma'am. however you may call me what you please, If find it a bit of a silly name."
He smiled and nodded again. "But it is the one my mother gave me and I respect that. "What brings you around here young, beautiful Kila?"

"Thank you," she responded with due respect. "Tic Tac?" she smiled. "I thought it was cute." she grinned as she too lapped up some water. "Is Fluffy better?" she teased him slightly.
"Just getting away from the family for a bit I suppose." she felt warmth in her cheeks as he added in 'beautiful' it had been so long to where a male had complimented her like that...well other than him.

Tic Tac smiled. "If you want, But I guess Tic Tac is not that bad M'lady." Her chuckled and smiled at her, shifting around just a bit. "And Yes, don't be embarress, you are truthfully one of the most beautiful Lionesses I have seen, you look like.... a bird, in a good way though." He nodded.

"Sun conure actually...oddly enough my parents and sisters did as well." she smirked. "You do too though." behind her crimson cheeks grew warm. "Thank you." she rose her brow. "You too are one of the most handsome males I have laid eyes upon." she smiled truthfully. "My youngest daughter Daiquiri is like you with your wings."

"I have heard of them. I have been told I look like a quaker parrot, so did my family but they did not have wings." He looked over at what she said. "Thank you m'lady." He smiled and dipped a small bow again.
As she talked about her daughter his ears perked up. "She has wings too?" He smiled. "Oh, you have children." He blushed. "I feel so ashamed to be complementing a taken lady the way I have." He shuffled his feet.

"Yes, I have six childeren and two grandchilderen." she blushed. She was still a young lioness with such a big family. "Correction, I was taken. My ex mate took his leave for quite some time and he has not returned so I left the lands where I was called Queen and in search of new lands with my son, grandson and daughter." she smiled sweetly to him as she pawed his shoulder. "Whats the matter?"

Tic Tac pondered for a moment. "That is a nice amount of family." He nudged her a bit. "They must truely be beautiful if they are yours." He smiled and then sat back again and his brow ruffled. "That is horible. Any male that is lucky enought to be your mate needs to stay by your side and be proud." He smiled again. "And treat you with the upmost Respect." He looked down at her paw. "I'm sorry, you said daughter and I felt asshamed to be I guess you can say flirting with a mated lioness, but I was wrong." He gave a wink and another short bow.

Kila smiled softly, gentle eyes gleaming. "I respect that you would be the lion to back off then still pursue a lioness you assumed mated." she laughed slightly. "So may I assume you do not have a mate as well, since I deem you a gentleman and you wouldn't pursue another lioness if you were mated." She tilted her head slightly more interested.

"Thank you lady Kila." He smiled and let out a small purr, moving a bit closer to her hoping, however not to scare her off. "A fool would go a lose a wonderful relationship with you." He gave a large grin, then it shrunk slightly. "Yes... I am. I have been wandering these lands alone for a while, my only other company is a bird that taught me how to fly and wanted to join me in my travels... Everyone esle seemed afraid of me..." He made a slight face as his eyes wandered over to the water.

She stayed perfectly where she was as she watched his advances. Her brow rosed as a soft smile grew, before slowly fading. "It happens to the best of us, I suppose." she replied. "Afraid of you? I think they are more oustounded or perplexed, not afraid." she wondered. She had missed her beloved, Benoni but perhaps it was time for her too to move on. Its not like he had came back and went searching for her. "Would you like to stay with my family. We will be moving in with the Rose Petal Pride soon..."
