So I was thinking, to get people a little more active (and to get me more active on some of the C&C games), we could set up a contest within the Guild itself? I can provide prizes for a while, but not every month. I can keep score of games and whatnot and I'll calculate winners with scores, time to win, and wins.
If I can get a second on this idea, we'll start in February. Each months First Place Prize will be a Monthly Collectible from the previous month of their choice (as in, they choose which one of the offerred Collectibles that month are given to them). I have yet to think of second and third. Anyway, give me some feedback on this idea as much as possible. It'd be much obliged.

I was thinking of doing something similar to this, it involved a bunch of pictures, and you would have to guess who was being portrayed, but I never went through with it. (Didn't have permission to reproduce 80 percent of the pictures, and about half of them were members of Avenged Sevenfold, anway.)
I could also provide prizes, but MCs would usually be out of my league, since I don't get them too much. What type of contest did you have in mind?

Basically, we'll hold scheduled mini-tournaments within the Guild for that month. Of course, we'll have to make a three-day scheduling at least, just in case someone can't make it. After the game is prepared, a volunteer spectator will be there simply to make sure no glitches or cheats were used and to record the score (kills, losses, economy, points in general, and the time the match lasted). Is that agreed?

I like the idea of C&C games, though I can't get online for any games except Renegade/APB and C&C 1 LAN, so you'll have to count me out as far as participating.

Well, we could do any game. In this thread or another, I'll have a place for people to sign up for certain C&C games and we'll see how it goes from there. From the original C&C all the way to C&C3 goes! And maybe even C&C: Tiberium, whenever that comes out... I, personally, can do with TS, FS, RA2, YR, and Renegade. I played Generals, but wasn't that good online. XP

I might be able to also get onto Tiberium, depending on how they set it up.
And the funny thing is, I actually got to play ZH online once (under the name "Omega"), but my opponent seemed to have dial-up or something, because they started to lag really bad when the game started. (I'm pretty sure it wasn't me) I haven't been abl to get on since for some reason, though I do remember being able to do LAN with my brother and cousin.

It's interesting that you can't get on ZH. I know I can't play modded maps (except the two I have) on TS or Generals and ZH at all because of some patch error. When I tried for the patch with Generals and ZH, it errored out and kicked me off the game. As for TS, it worked fine until I installed TFD. After that, not even the original TS disks will let me play my old maps. crying
