Hi. I'm a 28 year old amateur photojournalist living in Silicon Valley (for now). I'm a complete fan of digital photography and have a Nikon D70, though I'd really like to get my hands on a Canon 20D. redface
Hmmm... my work? Just something small I put together recently... http://toutcute.com/index.php/2005/08/18/candlelight-vigil-for-cindy-sheehan/
I think it emphasizes how much of an amateur I am. sweatdrop
EDIT: I think I should add something. My first digital camera, which is what convinced me that I enjoyed digital photography was the Sony CyberShot DSC-U60, which is a 2 megapixel point & shoot without any zoom, but is waterproof.
I then borrowed my friend's Nikon CoolPix 5700 for ... awhile, actually. I used that until I was fed up with pushing the button for the shutter and having it decide to pause for a second or more before taking the photo, even though it was already focused. That's what made me go with an dSLR, in fact.
Between those two I got a cellphone with a camera on it. ... I have no idea what the resolution is, but I had some fun with it. I'm sure I'd use it more if I could, you know, actually carry my cellphone, but my job is full of psychos, so I can't...
Only part of my photographic experience that's missing is the disposable cameras I used before my first digital. =)

Hi smile I'm Nessa. I'm only 15 but I've developed a love for photography. Just holding a camera makes me happy. I have a Nikon 4600. Not the best camera, I know. But hey, who says your first digital needs to be something grand? (wouldn't mind it tho) and plus, I'm low on cash, being 15 and all sweatdrop Well, here's my little gallery if you want to check it out www.starlitrainbow.deviantart.com/ don't mind the random photos... I'm and ametuer at the most...remember? haha

Good afternoon!
Hi, I was delighted to recieve an invitiation to join this guild.
I've been into anime/manga ever since jr high...a bit over 10yrs ago. I gotten into photography shortly after that. I bought a Nikon 6006 (F601 outside of North America) so that I can photograph my art.
Currently, i'm using a 4004 (my 6006 is taped up due to many drops and abuse) as well as the 6006. I'm shooting with a common 50mm 1.8 lens and a 80-200 2.8(very fast and open) lens.
My aspirations: I'm planning to get a Nikon D70 (if the phantom D200 rumors is false) along with the 18-70mm lens. I hope to earn enough money to afford the 85mm portrait lens.
I'm currently trying to study for a pilot liecense and working part time for a video company who goes around and documents anime conventions. We use Canon's GL2 and XL1.

Hey, I'm Helen and I'm 15 years old, and it's my brother who really got me into photography, as he is horribly good at it stare He gave me his old Canon EOS 3000 for my birthday when he got a digital SLR...but now I'm addicted to photography. I mainly have non-human subjects, ie flowers, buildings etc mainly because no one likes having their damn picture taken scream I'm self taught, with some advice from my brother My recent projects have been: Le Palais des Papes, and the flowers, glass exhibition in the royal botanical gardens here are a couple of le palais des papes onetwoand a couple from the kew gardens onetwo

@Hoshi01: Those pictures you listed aren't very sharp they're grey so I really takes from the pictures. It looks like some picture taken in the 70's or something.
