A breakdown of wolf pack politics:

Alpha Male and Female- The only matting pair in the pack, they rule and run the pack. (Myself and anyone whom I choose to be alpha male.)

Beta member(s)- Usually only one, the Beta position grants power to a wolf or wolves below that of the alphas. They usually take the role of the primary care giver in the pack after any pups are past the milk feeding stage. They also distribute some measure of discipline amongst the pack, especialy when the alphas are not present. (If you're a member of the crew, you're a Beta.)

Gamma members- These are the regular members of the pack (If you're not a crew member or alpha, this is your position.)

Omega position- This wolf is the lowest in the pack, always eats last. This wolf provides comic relief sometimes and a lot of the time, is the anger relief point for wolves of higher status. Sometimes they are placed in this position because of constant misbehavior. Some packs do not have an Omega position. (If you rarely post, have under 5 posts, or act up you're in this position unless otherwise stated by me.)
