Ok, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of everyone being so hung up on Buffy/Spike. I don't like them, and where as I won't try to convince someone who is a fan to not like them, I still expect the same in return.
I guess in a way I'm just really upset because I introduced a friend of mine to the show, and right away he's all "Spike and Buffy! Spike and Buffy!" That'd be fine, only he won't leave me alone about it. He's constantly sending me vids on them, calling me up just to try to convince me they are "meant to be together." I can't even watch the episodes with him (he just started, only on season two) without him going on and on about how Spike and Buffy need to be together. It's really starting to get to me. I dont' shove Spike/Xander down his throat, or Buffy/Giles, or even Willow/Angel (My fav couples), and yet I can't get him to shut up about it.

*Sigh* thanks for letting me rant. I feel better.

I don't mind Willow/Kennedy, I prefer Willow/Tara over them, but either way. I kind of whore Willow and Buffy around alot. Willow I LOVE with Angel, but I'm cool with her and Tara, Oz, Buffy, Giles, Kennedy, Percy (they're actually really cute together) or Cordelia. And Buffy I like with Faith, Angel, Willow, Riley, or Giles. I was just in a Buffy/Giles mood when I wrote the first post. I also don't hate Xander/Buffy, but he belongs with Spike first and formost.

I felt Giles left because he felt that that's what was best for Buffy, that she had to learn to live again, and she couldn't do that as long as he was there doing everything for her. It may not have been the best idea, but at the time, he felt it was what she needed him to do.

There aren't many Spike/Xander fans, and I'm cool with that. I didn't even mean to be. The first episode of Buffy I ever saw was when Buffy found out her mom was sick, I saw the last ten minetes of it, and thought "Wow, that blond guy should get together with Buffy, he really seems to like her." Then I saw a Spander pic, checked out some vids and fanart and became a diehard fan, when I started watching the show, I thought I'd start to like Spuffy again, but the Buffy just ticked me off by how callouse and cruel she was about Spike's feelings and I decided she didn't deserve him and that he needed someone who could love him completely. I think it's Xander, so I never really stopped being a Spander fan.
Plus when I found out that Joss had wanted it to be Xander that Spike fell in love with instead of Buffy, but the network wouldn't let him because they didn't like the idea of a gay guy couple, it just made me that much more in love with the ship.
